  • I'm now to the point where I'm starting to work on scenery or at least the base of scenery. I run some trains in this video, and talk about future plans. In my next video I will probably explain my operating plans.

Great updates, Tyler. Trains running smooth. Exciting ideas to do next. The mountain with fall scenery will look awesome. Have fun. - Drew

Thanks Paul! I was hoping it would be sooner rather than later but it might be 2-3 weeks now. I decided I want to get all my engines speed matched and make sure they all run consistently before I do too much scenery. I will definitely be starting the scenery on the mountains as soon as possible though, as soon as I figure out how I want to go about it. Thanks and have a good one too. --Tyler

Really good looking work on the layout!! Like your approach to how you want your yard to work, good ideas for both choices. Like to see the trains running. Thanks for sharing and great update on your progress..

Thanks Muse! Glad you enjoyed it. I'm hoping to keep going on it. It's pretty hot outside the next few weeks so I have an excuse to work on trains and avoid the heat now. --Tyler

In the 40s and 50s wasn't the curve 4 tracks? Everything is looking good , I like the ballasting your going after.

Yes it was. The reason I'm doing 3 tracks instead of 4 is because the inside track's radius would be pretty tight. I didn't want to make the curve wider for a 4th track due to the fact I would have had to make the mountains a little smaller and I like how the first one looks. I'm glad it looks good! Thanks for watching. --Tyler

Like your updates. Question: how are you getting working in the Tyrone bridge area? Seems like an awkward spot. Maybe mention in you next video. Anthony

It's definitely awkward, for it to work I'm going to have to get it lined up justtttt right. It should look neat when I get scenery done or at least the creek started but I'll definitely have to show how I do it. Thanks for watching! --Tyler
