  • I made a change to the yard, and I have a cab view from Altoona to Horseshoe Curve at the end of the video.

Very much like the scenery around Horseshoe Curve. I think you captured the general look of the mountains around the Curve very nicely.

    Absolutely Awesome!
I was smiling and grinning the whole time I watched this. You must be even more excited. Thanks for posting and looking forward to all that come.

Now if BLI will just upgrade their hippos a bit and do another run. I'm saving up for all I can get. You've inspired me.

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I'd love some hippos too, but I unfortunately don't have a wide enough radius for them. I used to have a J1 but had to swap it for an M1b since the J1 was a little too big as well.

Yea, I saw that M1 sitting there, was imagining it chugging around on fully decd. layout. I'm really encouraged by your post, thanks much.

Pardon me for a question if you don't mind. What is a good source for detailed info on BLI locos? Ex. Markers light on K-4s but not I-1sa both in Paragon 3 form. I have a L-1s on order. Have seen reports very as to wether they are jewel or lit. Just getting into ho from SE Asia

I have no idea actually. I think the only BLI locos I have are the M1s, and they were built in the early 2000s I think, so I don't even have a very good instruction manual for them. I got them from 2 people who were both getting rid of their layouts because they had to move. A model railroading forum like cs.trains might be able to help. I'm kind of in the same boat when it comes to my locos. I'm still trying to figure out how to get a replacement air horn for one of my F units.

Okay, thanks much. I'll keep admiring your layout from afar.
