Hellow. Sir my name is Mohammed imran and I am from India I know and want to work as a car mechanic plzzz help me my experience 5 years in Kuwait plz help me my watsap number 00919179512677 plm..sir
I love going to junkyards, Its always a surprise at what you can find for your car after using your smarts getting those parts out, then going home and putting them in to make your car complete again.
In the 80s I used to pull parts on the east side of Houston every Saturday, where admission was $10 and a running 500cube Cadillac motor was $89.95...with transmission included.
Well if I ever go up to Canada I will definitely stop in. Got some things I want to fix/replace on my Dad's truck. $50 for a rear bumper and heated seat wiring harness would be amazing.
There's a U-pick down here in Oregon has the same deal. Just on one day a week, the other 6 days they quote you normal junkyard prices. There is one of the photos on the wall of a big burly dude walking past the lines carrying a whole Chevy 235-straight 6 engine in his arms across by himself!
Oveida Sinclair hi I am in Kurdistan my name is Soran I would like to buy a cars in Canada to import to here can I get help from you please thank you sweetheart
I guess they have one in Toronto too you pay 50 bucks to enter the yard and if you don't find what you need you still pay but get a rain check type deal that is awesome I wish I knew about this place a couple years ago
So cool. Our biggest pick a part yard out here in BC closed last year. We are running out of places like this. Miss hanging out there and salvaging good, usable and usually needed parts.
Im almost sure you head that she said last week or smth. and is free part day the day they are filming this clip with theese people picking stuff for free
Wish we had these type of junk yard in saskatchewan... I always have a $300 tab for parts, lots of times its just two parts. I bet that yards full of DSM's I'd be in heaven.
Spalderdash Hugo Mine needs cab corners, inner and outer rocker panels, a passenger front fender and a rear wheel arc panel LOL Oh and emergency brakes and cables. Thank god for crooked mechanics who do botched federal inspections hahaha Shes a daily driver though!
ahaha same here! Had a few rust holes in the frame, nothing a few dodgy welded plates can fix! My buddy was a certified mechanic who passed the inspection ahah! I just covered my fenders with some offroad flares. Just gotta get some 31' tires
Spalderdash Hugo One thing I can say about my old truck is that the frame is solid. 316,000 klicks on the engine and transmission but she runs like a top and never misses a beat. It doesn't even burn oil which is surprising. Hard to kill those 4.3's though. I know the engine will far out last the body.
Awesome wreckers. I go all the time. And yes it's legit!! If you can carry it about 10 ft past the line it's yours. Gotta pay 50 before you even get in the yard though.
Around 30 years ago, my brother and I, would drive an hour and a half to Calgary for the same deal. The wrecking yards around Red Deer wont let you pull your own parts. They charge 1/2- 3/4 of the price of a new item. As I'm about to post I see he has an e-mail address. Maybe I can get headlight surrounds for my 57 D100, or a decent grille for the'80 Powerwagon
Interesting. 1957 & 1980? I believe Both of those particular items will be difficult to track down, Yet possibly go custom instead? Try looking up J&J Enterprises for a grille, they can make a stainless steel one if you send them dimensions and maybe the original for comparison.
I have gone too this befor. A LOT of the cars here are great for getting parts off, BUT I DO WARN YOU that some people hack the parts that they take off, make other parts useless. just a friendly heads up when walking into this yard.
doug tacey lkq ?? They have one in Daytona that does that, well it was 50% off on most major holiday weekends but now it's down to 30 or 40% off waiting until memorial day weekend to score my parts I need
Very nice to see The average hard working guy can fix the family car for cheap. 50 bucks is not asking a lot considering some parts are worth hundreds. The only thing that pisses me off is I know some people are pulling off 500$ worth of parts for 50 and making money then someone goes to look for a part but some asshole pulled it to make money not fix his own car for cheap. Anyhow it's a great service this yard provides, kudos.
U-Pick parts lot around me only gives 3 weeks before they junk each car. Better someone gets the parts. They even have a email list to alert when they get a specified make of car in.
if it pisses you off so much why don't you do it then? why put down a guy for putting in a days worth of work to make some money? if a guy wants to do the work to make some money on the side who are you to say anything about it? I take my hat off to those guys they are making a living by thinking outside the box!
Funk Doo its $49.95 for free range of the entire place with freedom to take whatever you want, if it's just a couple bolts or you somehow drag out a whole car, it's just $50, think of it more like an entry fee
if is $5o for all the parts I will be there tomorrow morning and make me two more F-150 my 94 runs great American make in Detroit not plastic Foryn junk lake Toyota or Honda on my driveway Whot I try to say "bay American or live America "let's hope Ford motor company came back to Detroit that is herattige and proud of American people God bless you all
3:30 they slick with it instead of paying for 2 parts they said fuck it connected as one part smart never thought of that I will use that technique haha
Recycling is always good for the environment. All these part would have just rotted and rusted out there and people would spend their hard earned money on totally new cars. Recycling helps both the people and the environment.
you say this is the largest junk yard in Canada? bet you have never been to Pintendre auto near Levi on the south shore of Quebec city. they also have dirt cheap days. interesting fact about Pintendre is the main building looks like a Rolls Royce front end.
$50 IS free! Hell that price, for basically new parts, that would cost hundreds, or thousands, at the dealer, or even most just yards, even 'You pull it ' junk yards...THAT is a deal! Know of any in Ft.laud Fla.? I need some interior trim parts, and would love to pull some airbags from a few cars, and resell them! I always assumed they were pulled when the cars hit the lot. But...someone said on here, that they were pulling an airgbag. They are worth a freaking mint!! Can sell them all over EBay for a huge profit and still way below cost!
I Love the IDEA! Totally and you have your free days. Thats is Just cool. It keeps older cars on the road longer and running better then if you didn't have the money to tune the motor back up. It saves waste no reason to trash usable parts. You should also have a return old parts day stuff that stopped working. So it can be recycled properly, bring back a motor get a motor for 50 bucks. Hold it do you guys call it Bucks in Canadia? isn't that an american slang term? A buck is a US dollar! or A Male Deer. You know I went to canada once with my wife we changed out American money for Canadian money, My wife kept asking for Us change back.......... I had to tell her were using there type of money now.. we go home you'll be using our type of money.
50 dollars is nothing .. is almost free, depending the amount of parts you can take with you . And when is free ( like this $50 ). People don't care about nothing and destroy everything trying to get what they want from the car. I'm seeing this all the time on this type of yunk-yards and of course the recycling process is not well done .... Is good for the people to get what they want in affordable prices, but is more than they destroy, to have the parts they need .
Lol thats cute. In quebec we have place thants named pintendre auto. Its a juck yard. miles and miles of cars lined up. You take parts for the price of a penut.
I really wish I had friends who cared about cars. This would be so fun to do on the weekends.
Bush's Baked Memes I know right!! Just no one cares enough besides me!!!
+Zach Gaming and Reviews guys we will get together and do this we will be new.friends im in ottawa now haha
GET NEW FRIENDS

Wow! What fun! Great video. It's amazing how many garage mechanics there are out there.
Philip Rosenthale u would b amazed !:)
very cool for you to let the people have a great deal on parts. thank you for the video.
I love going to junkyards, Its always a surprise at what you can find for your car after using your smarts getting those parts out, then going home and putting them in to make your car complete again.
one man's trash next man's treasure love it
In the 80s I used to pull parts on the east side of Houston every Saturday, where admission was $10 and a running 500cube Cadillac motor was $89.95...with transmission included.
omg this would be heaven for me! i don't need no parts but just to take them off and it would be awesome!
Bordi Pana lol your so funny
Same feeling... though you don't want to eat Apples but still plucking it from three feels so good....
Its a good way to learn how to take it off and install it without doing serious damage to the good car.
Wrenching can be fun, I agree
*"One Man's Trash is Another Man's Treasure"*
I’ve watched this maybe 20 times from when it recently came out, maybe more. It’s unbelievable I wish I lived in the USA
😂😂😂I misread "when I recently came out" 🤣🤣🤣sorry bro on me
Da fuck has this gotta do with usa?
Dude, C A N A D A !
Not USA 🤪🤪🤪
Love junkyards. I recommend French Lake in Minnesota for all 1900 cars to 2000's
I collect speedometers and gauge clusters,,woowee what a time I'd have!!!!!!
Good business I am understanding the business I have long time experience.
I love this video..I'm going to move to Canada and live there in that junkyard..:-) :-)
Nice it's pretty cool Freeport today junk yards in America could learn a lesson from this
It was $50 per person in 2014, now free parts day at Standard is $100 per person for 2020 (Toronto area)
So cool. Thanks guys.....
Nice catch for both junkyard owner and scavengers...
Très sympa ce reportage.

En France, c'est de plus en plus rare les casses à l'ancienne.

So not exactly free but hugely discounted.
I love walking around scrap ywrds. Merci - à volonté! 👍😎John à Sherbrooke
Honest hard working people
Well if I ever go up to Canada I will definitely stop in. Got some things I want to fix/replace on my Dad's truck. $50 for a rear bumper and heated seat wiring harness would be amazing.
Also its $50 CAD whereas that would be less than $50 USD.
Quinn Dickinson u always want 2 wash the salt off from the roads in the wintertime that is what helps autos rust !:)

gotta love pick and pull
So cool. Our biggest pick a part yard out here in BC closed last year. We are running out of places like this. Miss hanging out there and salvaging good, usable and usually needed parts.
there is no any of those kinda yards left in lower mainland anymore? :(
still a heck of a lot cheaper then the U.S part yards
this is isolated, although cheap nothing is free. if your on hard times and are handy a junkyard is your savior
We need a yard like that here in California. Pick A Part just bought out Ecology (competition) and raised their prices across the board.
Thats the trouble with American buiness, too dam greedy sends them into bankruptcy....junk yards are the only buiness that never gets old..
@@olivertaylor8788 In Florida same thing happens. It used to be free entrance now they charge a fee; plus prices went up. Greedy SOBs.
50 bucks for an engine. I paid a junkyard over 1300 for a matrix engine!
I can't carry an engine so do i have to pay full price?
greg h ,, just bring a strong friend to carry the motor
what year?
J Tattrie u got taken advantage of !
what if my spine rips out of my back while carrying an engine? can i sue the junkyard?

Very good job
Back in the day use to visit a junk yard in Omaha NE & Boone SD.

This is awesome. When I'm passing through again I'm loading up on GMC Sierra parts lol
i'm with yah on that one! my 97 Sierra need new Cab corners ahah, bringing a torch I guess!

It doesn't matter where you go, parts on Junkyard are so cheap its almost like free as long as you negotiate with them.
the junkyard I go to here in cali there's is no negotiations they just give you a price for what you got nd you pay . I'd love to go where you go haha
Not @ Pick-N-Pull...You pull THEY give you the PRICE
Just got to find a right one, they don't care about those parts, you remove and tell them what you want to pay them

Charles Kerr Tell other people that, i have seen one too many hack jobs.
a place that helps alota of people!
I better start working out too carry MORE PARTS ?
$50 is for metal weight of the engine. Junk yards sell metal to the mills. They don't need plastic parts, hence FREE
We have a local place that is $200 for an engine, $100 for a transmission. Not allowed to bring torches or cutting stuff.
What state and city
Indiana
Jack Lord Nice...I'm in Chicago and my kid wants to build his car from used parts
James why use cutting torches n other ? do it right way n make sure tools do the job by hand . it pays 2 have patience !:)
some places just cut stuff out. faster as long as you know what your doing and you dont need other parts
@billy jezec......thats the first thing that had me laughing hard....lol.....spining that steering wheel.....air bag coil is gone baby...!

and you have your free days. Thats is Just cool.

Cool 🙌
the parts people are carrying out are worth a hell of a lot more than $50 that's a great deal

Free entrance, once a month freebies.
in ours its a big profit already to have those parts.
