The final season of Peaky Blinders has aired on the BBC and I give you my general thoughts on it alongside what we could expect from the movie that is due to go into production next year.
The most annoying thing to me about this show is how there was suppose to be 7 seasons and ended up being 6. When season 5 came out i was so mad cause the season wasnt about al capone. They teased that season would be about Tommys business with al capone. Then they just skipped that. Nothing angers me more about this show then the fact they skipped that. Like if they didnt tease it fine i wouldnt even care. Shouldnt of said it. I also strongly think thats the content they decided to cut cause they originally said there would be 7 seasons.
I really wish this season was centered more towards Tommy vs Micheal. I feel like they hyped it up to that but it wasn’t that. I liked that one of the main plots was about Tommy redeeming himself or trying to clear his conscience. I wish the season was mainly about those two things
Helen's passing must be the main reason the Tommy v Michael plot was pushed to the side. Feels like Polly was supposed to be at the center of it all, and i guess the writers decided to go a different direction instead of rewriting that storyline without having her in it.
Yeah ikr I feel like they literally set michael aside by putting him in jail I truly believe the plot and involvement of Michael changed was due to polly actress death
@@jefry8393 yeah but I feel like it shouldn’t have changed because Michael is his own person he didn’t need Polly just to be a villain if anything Polly not being around would have made the plot more interesting because Polly is about the only one that could’ve gotten Michael to stop
honestly i dont think was good enough. i am almost positive that the first episode was filmed at the same moment that the last episode was filemd. nothing knew but i could see it clearly. that was one of a couple of things that i didnt like
@@dogsbreakfast4952 he killed Michael, helped take over half of Boston, is in politics, Mosley Suspects nothing, IRA dead. Nelson crippled cause of Boston getting taken over by the Jews
There won’t be another compellingly passionate storyline on the television screen that can come close to how these characters made me feel and I’m grateful to have witnessed such beautiful art in this day and age. And may it echo throughout the ages.
I’m not gonna lie bro I hated Lizzie’s guts last few seasons but she really redeemed herself this season especially when Tommy told the fascist’s at the table that she’s much better than all of us as a person.
I agree that I never liked her. She always felt out of place and unable to handle the lifestyle. She never supported Tommy, only nagged and criticized. Tbh I was always mad he never got with May Carlton
@@Captain_Insano_nomercy bro I hated Lizzie but how can you blame her for not supporting someone who never tells her the truth or even supports her emotionally and constantly does things that put her in an awkward position? You should blame Tommy for that and not Lizzie. But I'm guessing you're not gonna hate him
@@lorcejay2596 but like it’s not as if she didn’t know who tommy was and what she was getting into. Did she deserve better, yeah but wasn’t she selling her body to make ends meet? Who is she to judge 😂. I still love Lizzie tho. They have their moments together
@@LuisFernandoAraiza the story never really showed us how they got married and what Tommy promised her when he proposed, so we can't assume she knew what she was getting into marriage wise. We've also seen Tommy treat his wife nicely before so expecting him to be just as emotionally available towards Lizzie would not be unusual or unfair. Your point about her selling her body also makes it seem like she doesn't deserve anything since she used to sell her body any way, or else why the hell would you mention that? Seems weird. Also it's not like she's judging Tommy on his business of crime, but just merely that he becomes honest with her and stop putting her in awkward situations
Having had the benefit of binging through Netflix instead of waiting for each episode to be aired, I'm of the mind that the show ended super quickly! I thought the ending was brilliant!
Finally got to watch this season and holy shit. The acting, music, cinematography, basically everything was so fucking good. I was telling my wife at before the last episode how much this season was the culmination of what this was supposed to look like and be, but I really wished it was stretched out a little longer and it’s only flaw was the Michael vs Tommy only being maybe 40 minutes of the whole season. But I’m relieved that the Oswald vs Tommy will be truly finalized. Little did I know, the real finale will be a film. Lol. Can’t fucking wait. Seriously great season. Some of the best TV I’ve ever seen. That Arthur/Tommy scene in his office…gotta go process this show. So good.
Fuck. I’m a little fucked up after this story ended. This story has been part of my life for seven years. When the ending scene comes in with that spooky folk song I teared up a bit. Definitely a heart breaking season
A movie finale would be perfect. This isnt a gangster story its a post war story and I feel like the elephant in the room for the viewer is the fact that these characters suffered so much in WWI but we know that WWII is coming. With the focus on the rise in facism, the fact that the nazis also persecuted and genocided the gypsies and that politician guy is still alive, all these things coming to a head will make an epic cinematic conclusion, imo
Amazing ending, the season could have used many more interesting characters, but overall it was a great series. A bit scared about the movie, since this was the perfect send off for Tommy Shelby, hopefully they only use him as a side character and someone else takes the mantel of King. The series overall was spectacular and everyone did a fantastic job, the series as a hole should get an Oscar.
using him as a side character would be stupid , the reason people watch peaky blinders is because they want to see wants next for Thomas Shelby, using him as a side character would also make no sense especially since they sent him up in a way where he "still has work to do"
Looks to me like they set up the main story of the film to be about duke and Finn or duke and Charlie. The whole sibling rivalry thing had built up towards the end. From what I’ve read, the writer is basing the film on a true story set in world war 2 of two different men of the time. So this could either be the two brothers or Finn and duke. You could argue they set it up for Finn and duke because of the built up conflict and Finns threats as he seems to have been kicked out of the family but also Charlie and duke because Charlie seemed hurt that Finn was brought in and right away under tommys wing. Tommy talks about the dark and light child and there was a lot of symbolism of this throughout the series of dark and light. So that also leads me to question if it’s just his two children it’s aimed at. He also whispered a ‘secret’ in dukes ear right at the end, duke is definitely here for a big role, maybe even THE big role. That would be my guess based on what I’ve read and what adds up. Otherwise, bringing duke in so last minute just didn’t make any sense at all.
This was a terrible ending. They didn’t wrap up anything that that was lingering at the end of season 5. Worst season out of all of them hands down. The first 4 seasons were brilliant
Halfway through the season, and I’m conflicted: there’s literally nobody to root for anymore apart from Lizzy. It might turn around, but right now it’s depressing as hell.
I really did not like the direction this season went. We had built up major enemies in Oswald Mosley and the Billy Boys, lost many close major characters like Aberama,Bonnie, and Barney all in season 5 and ended off in a cliff hanger with an amazing ending and plot twist that had us ask “what will Tommy do now?”. They had built up this amazing storyline just to throw it away in season 6 and create a new conflict with Michael, man it was so disappointing. The billy boys did not make any appearance and on top of that Oswald Mosleys was just sidelined for Michael and Nelson to take the light. The ending didn’t feel like an ending because Tommy never finished what he started in season 5. Personally I would have rather season 6 be a continuation of season 5 and wrap up the storyline there with all the loose ends being tied up and then start a movie with the main plot being Michaels revenge. It hurts to see this amazing show have such a terrible ending.
Very true. I think if they hadn’t killed off Aberama they could of used the death of Polly to continue the direction they were heading. It Would give Aberama even more reason to fight and get vengeance which would include the help of Tommy. But of course no one foresaw the death of Helen.
i totally agree with this but I really believe that they have bigger plans for Oswald in the movie especially considering we're getting closer and closer to the actual rise of fascism in the shows timeline. Even Tommy said it himself sometimes these things can take years and years you just have to wait for the perfect time to make a move.
They concluded most conflict towards the peaky blinders and most of Tommy’s fights this season ended as well, except Oswald’s, fully. Michael dead, head of the IRA Dead. However, Oswald was low key the backbone to all of Tommy’s problems. Appointing that doctor to falsely provide Tommy’s destiny and compromise his perception, that changed how tommy made his choices for certain things. Oswald’s wife, Diana was also a huge problem for tommy, having Lizzie realize what he did and having lost his family. Also that particular scene when Ada was harassed by those people outside her house, little scenes like that could potentially hint the future storyline for the movie. I have hope in the writers as they have never disappointed me tbh, to make the movie a big hit..maybe Oswald and hitler will catch a bullet by order of the peaky fookin blinders..
It’s not a terrible ending by any stretch of the imagination, definitely some questionable choices but I always knew pesky blinders wouldn’t end without a movie actually finishing off the story.
After two years anticipation The final season deserved more episodes more than ever. You had new characters being introduced that left you scratching your head as to why. Stephen Graham comes to mind. The Beautiful and Brilliant Helen McCrory left an unfillable void. It kind of wrapped up neatly enough don't see the reason for a movie although I will certainly look forward to it because I absolutely adored and will miss the Peaky Fucking Blinders
I’m a bit confused how he found out about all the plans against him, the mole didn’t give any of it up so bit confused there, also why Finn was cast out, unless I missed something that showed he was in on the betrayal with the mole that also stumped me
I don’t think fin knew that billy was a traitor and the fact that he was such good friends with billy meaning he couldn’t kill him and after he tried to kill duke showing he has slightly betrayed the family and that’s why he was casted out
What they did with Finn was bad writing in my opinion. They're already one Shelby short and suddenly the new guy kicks him out of the family, by the sounds of it, as opposed to the business. Then they've got Arthur all mopey when he's under the impression that Tommy is dying, yet doesn't think to shape up and help his little brother get on the right path. He's the one they're supposed to protect and discipline, yet he gets cut off without so much as a word from his brothers
@@thoroughlyrustled6186 Yeah I agree. To be devil's advocate I think the show has always alluded he was the odd one out because he wasn't old enough to go to the War. Also they alluded that he has been pussy-whipped by his wife and has been on the outskirts more than anything. But ultimately the gang is so hardcore about family that it makes no sense to cast him out the way they did, because he didn't know Billy was a traitor nor they made it seems like Tommy or Arthur thought Finn himself was a traitor.
@@Werdxp it was finn who fed billy information then he made the decision to try and kill duke for telling him to kill billy, so he chose billy over family
Yeah tbh I think if they told finn that Billy was the Rat then he would've shot Billy but to just say hey kill this guy you've known for years with no explanation by a kid who's been there for what a day? Haha I still reallt liked the season tho tbh I liked the slower pace
I find it tough to criticize the performance of a show that has to work around the death of one of their actors. The beginning of the season was steady, and it definitely ramped up in a very positive way at the end. I will always love this show.
I loved it. I thought/think "Peaky" is the best acted, best written dramatic show on television. I found myself savouring every single scene. I've already re-watched the entire 6 years...and may do so again.
Some random thoughts: Tommy will report back to Churchill; the doctor knows Tommy is alive and will surely inform Moseley. That much seems clear. What isn't clear to me is howTommy truly hides away from his family and assumes a new identity altogether. Where would he go; where might Churchill send him? Do we have a new 007 in advance of an MI6? Without family, his identify is shallow. It would be more interesting to me to see how he returns to his family without making a mess of it and them.
Ending was a let down. They were building up Micheal Vs Tommy and they only had like 3 scenes together the whole season. The character with the second most screen time was Lizzie lol. Tom Hardy was hardly in it, Arthur was just messed up for 90% of it. This was prob the worst season of the whole show.
@@akabbossking3414 I can admit there were points where I felt it was getting pretty desperate... but I think it fit the mood for Tommy. The situation was grim and he didn't have a lot of options. It was intentional for the plot to be bogged down. That was part of the build-up
I love the series since season 1 and your review seems to indicate good ending for Thomas Shelby which should be the case . So looking forward to the season shown on Netflix.
Franky, I was bored to death trying to watch season six. The pace of the last season was so slow it was difficult to pay attention to the details the writers were attempting to inspire regarding the main character. Personally, I preferred the ruthless gangster portrayal so brilliantly orchestrated by Cillian Murphy, and the methods he went to in order to eliminate his enemies. That was far more interesting and entertaining.
Favorites: Tommy, Ada, Duke, Uncle Charlie, Curly, A. Gold, John, Esamae , Mae, Grace and Polly (she did betray Tommy to Priest which caused him a lot of hurt and pain) Arthur was becoming a drunk, Linda was problem all the time and Lizzie just wanted a free ride with anyone??john, Italian and Tommy by getting pregnant. Lizzie caused the war with the Mafia. Loved Michael killing the Priest and Tommy and Polly confronting the nuns. Polly killing Campbell. The scene when Churchhill saves Tommy. Tommy outsmarting the Italians. Tommy talking with Duke at the stables and giving him a safe place. Sorry I just loved the whole story.
I agree I felt like the entire season was a bit slow especially the beginning. Also I feel that the writers were tiring up loose strings not just with Polly’s death but the whole season, but it worked enough to still pass as Peaky Blinders
I personally think the 6th season was the weakest one yet, and this is coming from a die hard fan who has watched the show well over 10 times. Not even kidding
Agree, this last season was not just the weakest, it was weak, meandering, no reveals at the end indicating Tommy was on top of things. It wasn’t explained how he knew Billy was the traitor, and when he found out that he was duped into believing that he had tuberculoma he let the s.o.b. off? What a punk! Although Tommy turned the tables on Michael’s wife, we never saw the result (inside info received from Nazi officials).
Am I the only one who suspected a spin-off of some kind while watching the last series? And before I even knew about a movie throughout watching the season I felt and noticed how they drew and left enough strings untied that hinted at a spin-off.
After seeing season 6 i understood, best of Peaky Blinders were season 1-4. Season 6 is like you have a lot of conflicts built up so well just before the start, but it concentrated on continuing fall of Thomas Shelby and i feel like they could show it throughout more interesting ways. So in the end we were left to wait for that movie, and most likely it won't be a smooth defeating of enemies without any losses, and we will get another epilogue i suppose. I think it would have been better to make more episodes for this final season and end everything like this...
I really don’t understand why people don’t like season 5. Amazing performances by all the actors, one of the best writing imo and it’s super tightly written, with great and plenty of amazing character moments. Outstanding cinematography, especially with better cameras, because Netflix. It’s more enticing, and the villain is one of the more “challenging” ones. Imo, it is the best season. But we’re all entitled to our own opinions.
As for season 6, I’m certain sure it had a weak start due to Helen’s passing(R.I.P Helen). There would’ve been a war between Michael and Tommy with Aunt Pol in the middle. But what’s happened, has happened. Regardless I loved the ending and will forever love this show.
Maybe they should’ve done a 2 part season 6 and extended it by 2 more episodes and got things all wrapped up. I’m looking forward to a movie though basically a 2.5 hour episode will be DOPE
Remember Season 6 was shot during pandemic of coronavirus still posing problem so the shooting was slowed down & limited....it is v good indeed that the creator ,producers, directors and cast of Season 6 were able to do their respective jobs that well. Bravo..to all of them and to you...!👍👍👍
@VoidCell I’d put Ozark right up there with BB and BCS. Yeah BSC was abit slow on the initial seasons especially Jimmy and Kim story arc. The introduction of Lalo turned things around.
The movie could literally go in any direction with how it’s set up, Tommy could be a man completely for peace, Arthur could be dead, what happens with Mosley after he tried to kill Tommy etc
The whole Michael plot failed hard for me. That wasn't a "war" that Paulie said it would be. In fact they emasculated and pacified Michael to the point where he literally did nothing but have the idea for the bomb, which was dumb, because they could have just shot Tommy in the face much more easily.
Polly said it won’t be a bullet that will kill Thomas Shelby. Polly being a supposed future teller and Michael’s mum, he listened to that and ended up using a bomb.
@@sumantasahoo7841 They’ll add the punctuation in the film. All the characters get their rightful ending before the turn of the Second World War. That’s my guess.
Definitely one of very few shows I’ve thoroughly enjoyed like The Magicians and SoA and wished we’d never see a show finally. They had better get the movie right!
It would have been great if Michael was being built up as the big bad, instead if being sidelined. Even if he was still in prison through the majority of the series, he could've been tortured there and Tommy is the only thing running in his mind. I would've also loved if Asmay became some sort of antagonist working with Michael, since bith their loss was on the hands of Tommy. Her introducing Tommy's lost son would have been a lie just so she can have someone on the inside. I just loved the idea of Asmay and Michael being like a witch and the dangerous gangster duo. The whole thing would be that the only force capable of taking down the Shelby's are themselves.🔥🔥
Honestly, I was overall disappointed. I expected way too much and it was like watching a very long funeral. It was just too much unnecessary dialogue and additional boring characters. This is what happens when a major character dies in the middle of the story. The remaining story suffers greatly and I think that's what happens here. The loss of Aunt Polly was not just painful in reality but also painful in the story, so the story is shot from a grieving point, making it painfully long, agonizing, and sometimes boring. My biggest disappointment was Arthur. They should have killed him off in the prime of season 4. I couldn't stand him just being a constant drunk instead of the beast of the peaky blinders he was in the previous seasons. Overall I'd rate it 3/10. I was really disappointed.
I think you got too attached to the previous seasons directions . This season sets the stage for the movie (which I predict will be going in the direction that you wanted this season to go in). Also you definitely didn’t pay enough attention to how Polly was used in this season. She was there and had an effect on all of the characters and what they did. She was mentioned in legit every episode.
To me, the show was always driven by its villains and the chess matches of them seeningly staying one step ahead of Tommy but in the end its always Tommy who wins out but only surviving by setting himself up for another greater future challenge. The internal family conflicts and relationships were never as interesting to me - other than the one between Tommy and Polly which unfortunately could not be further explored. That being said - Moseley and the intriguing Jack Nelson are still out there and still need to be dealt with by Tommy. Also: anybody else interested in a spinoff that would be a PREQUEL to the Peaky Blinders show centered around the back stories of characters OTHER than Tommy Shelby - Alfie Solomons in particular for example? Would love some back story on the Jewish gangs in Camden town, and even some history of Jack Nelson in Boston
Tbh everything after 1929 is good but the thing I didn’t get was Tommy’s suicide I mean he pulled the trigger saw his aberama and Polly and Barney’s death then bam 1933 I mean they didn’t show how tommy dealt with his suicide or how Lizzie said after that
I thought the season was a good one.A little slow at times but it closed the TV series in a good way.I would give it a 7.5/10 because the first three episodes were really slow but it going after that. Also my main problem with the season is that it introduced many new things like the billy boys and we never hear about them in the last season I get there was a time jump but would have still liked to see what happened to the billy boys because I feel that aberama gold got taken out and we really don’t know what happens to the billy boys. I wish that they would have touched on it a little bit in the last season.
The film has to do much better, cutting the Jimmy McCavern story arch was a mistake. Peaky Blinders always resolves the antagonist from the prior season, creating an IRA plot was meaningless. Arthur, Tommy, or Isaiah should have killed Jimmy McCavern in season 6. What's the point of Mosley sleeping with Gina? Michael never found out, useless scene IMO.
@@derekhofstetler3998 Gina went to England with Uncle Jack, he was already there. In fact Uncle Jack was attacking Billy in the bathhouse to get a spy on Tommy. Your assumptions don't make sense in season 6, but Tommy wanted to know what Jack was talking about in Germany, that might come up in the future movie, but it didn't add anything to season 6.
I agree. Ruby getting sick really bogged down the season. And some of the dialogue was really cheesey, bordering on melodrama. It felt like season 6 was written by a different group of people.
you got me fucked up thinking that you can replace arthur and thomas those are the two that have made the show what it is and cillian murphys representation of thomas has been perfect. Changing the actor no matter who they are it will not make thomas who he was a charecter and i think that it will hurt the movie overall. Thomas is the peaky blinders not just part of it he IS the peaky blinders and you cant just change that since you got a different actor
What happened to Finn? I didn’t understand that scene at all. Duke told him to kill Billy. But Finn had no idea that Billy was the traitor. And how did duke know that Billy is the traitor? And last season we had a strong cliff hanger with Mosley and Michael. Season 6 started with a completely different story line. This season was bad. Worst possible ending to a great show. And tf did they do with Arthur. Totally butchered his character. And what’s with the supernatural gypsy stuff. There was hint of that in previous seasons but they put in too much of that in this season. Ruby’s storyline was forced af. Extremely disappointing ending.
The weakest in the series for sure. Writing wasn't great. They literally had a scene where he introduces Duke as his son and explains how that came to be. Then not ten minutes later, he sits Duke down and explains again that he is his father. It's as if the writers forgot they already explained it. Then what the hell happened to Jimmy Mccavern and the Billy Boys? Like the writers forgot they were a big part of season 5. Pretty disappointing given the setup of season 5.
The season wasn’t bad and it was a good ending giving Tommy peace, cause he is a tortured man so seeing him just ride off on a white horse in peace. I just think it’s a pain with a movie to rely on to FINALLY end it all cause now we’re probably gonna have to wait even longer to finally finish it all! But omg will we fucking kill Mobley already!? Good god I hate him and now his new wife sooooooooo much!
Understand Tommy spare and the doctor was him no longer wanted to spill no more blood but to be honest dude I mean he should’ve pulled the trigger I’m not saying this because we need to see more death on the show it’s because of the doctor is still alive he might tell Mosley Tommy Shelby knows the truth which means most evil cause trouble Tommy in the shadows more than he did when he wasn’t in the shadows which means mostly still gonna be trouble for Tommy Shelby in the Peaky Blinders more or less the Shelby family in general
I did not like season 6 as much as the other 5. The Michael plot was just so lame because to take down Tommy it would have to be elaborate and it was so silly the method he tried. He was in prison for most of it and I just thought it was a let down. And in season 5 he was seeing grace and talking to her all the time, that just disappeared in season 6 which felt so weird.
Not gonna lie, this season was disappointing and seemed almost confused and the pacing was terrible. UNTIL the end and then I was like OH okay that sort of makes it better.
Couldn't wrap my head around Peaky being Over...Watched all seasons..Twice. Hope a movie comes to fruition. Will Tommy start a new life or return to his family...the latter I hope.
Does anyone else find it way too convenient that Tommy parked his gypsy death wagon on a hill within eye distance of his doctor? With all that Tommy knows, does he not know this? Or was it his intention to be found by his doctor, considering his doctor was one of the few who knew of his “condition”.
Season was fire. They first scene after the time jump set the tone. I’m mad Finn turned out to be a bitch. Question - very last scene, after Curly set the wagon on fire we see Tommy come into the frame as if he was trying to get Curly’s attention but failed. He then rides off in the other direction, not over and down like Curly. Does this mean Tommy decided then and there to fake his death and work from the shadows leading into the movie or do you think that was for dramatic effect, him riding off in the angle so you see the fire on both sides of the door looking out? My guess is he would want to play low since we know Mosley wont die in real life and I’m sure Michael’s uncle in law will want some revenge. Can’t wait for the movie.
It was Arthur leading the family now because of Tommy is supposedly dead when he faked it that means Tommy Shelby is gonna be watching his family from the shadows and Arthur is going to be leading them and since Tom is gone he’s going tohave to do this in a smarter way and not the whole head strong you know like psycho psycho psycho thing we see from him
Season 6 is so boring. Please. First three episodes trying to figure out where the story will go, so they kill Ruby and jail Michael and put Arthur in the Loony bin. Not good. Season 4 & 5 were nice, this is disappointing. Loved seasons 1 & 2.
I thought the season was solid. Biggest flaw is Lizzie. She’s awful. And by a mile the ugliest women Tommy’s ever been with so that doesn’t help. And I thought it was bullshit they didn’t give Ada and Tommy their moment. He had it with Lizzie, Duke, Michael, & Arthur but totally shit on Ada. She’s great I’d have love any sort of brief moment with them.
I think they should have had Tommy die I like everything else but him living hes the character who doesn't get a true happy ending. It's good but it jumps the shark abit
And that I understand but I personally think hes that character who shouldn't get a true happy ending like the punisher what he does and has done it doesn't make sense that he gets to start a new life. But that's what I think obviously we have different opinions so it's one of them
from one point of view yes, as pretty much everyone criminal completes his journey like this, on the other hand i'm not against the way how they did it differently, but i don't like that they left his enemies for the movie, it should have been all tied up in series

Watch The Sopranos if you haven't.
@@spencertherren6806 incredible show too. That, mad men, the Wire, and peaky blinders are all very thought provoking and raw
The series overall was spectacular and everyone did a fantastic job, the series as a hole should get an Oscar.
using him as a side character would be stupid , the reason people watch peaky blinders is because they want to see wants next for Thomas Shelby, using him as a side character would also make no sense especially since they sent him up in a way where he "still has work to do"
Nah he still got one more guy to snuff, that politician guy, nothing happened to him yet unless I missed it.
Amazing ending?? It's literally not an ending 😂
This was a terrible ending. They didn’t wrap up anything that that was lingering at the end of season 5. Worst season out of all of them hands down. The first 4 seasons were brilliant
“The other Shelby family members in Arthur, Ada and Lizzie” - poor Finn :’)
I think the death of polly very much effected the direction of the show
Guys what happened to Jimmy Macavern from the billy boys?
I’ve seen many of reviews/ theories and your take is by far the best. You have earned my subscription, keep up the good work!
After two years anticipation
The final season deserved more episodes more than ever.
Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and Sons of Anarchy is pretty good as well
yeah man ive rewatched the first season like 4 times, will have to be many years until i can watch again lol
PEAKY BLINDERS!!! This should have more views. Thank you for your insight
9/10 for the final season. The build up was on point and then a strong finish with all the plots lines filled
Funny world we live in, I’ve done the same and feel the complete opposite
Agree, this last season was not just the weakest, it was weak, meandering, no reveals at the end indicating Tommy was on top of things.
It wasn’t explained how he knew Billy was the traitor, and when he found out that he was duped into believing that he had tuberculoma he let the s.o.b. off? What a punk!
Although Tommy turned the tables on Michael’s wife, we never saw the result (inside info received from Nazi officials).
It was complete trash. Some glimmer of light but dropped the ball overall it was pathetic
I agree
Almost feel like they didn’t have to bring in his long most son. They could’ve used that time to expand on all the other rushed parts.
Ur right, season 5 and 6 were boring and nowhere as good as the first few. The best season was the Luca Changetta season IMO
@@Sean-mc2wn Camera was def the best in season 5 and Acting was good too. But the villain was too boring IMO and the whole show felt diff in a way
@@akabbossking3414 Well, everyone’s opinion is different but always acceptable.
Maybe they should’ve done a 2 part season 6 and extended it by 2 more episodes and got things all wrapped up. I’m looking forward to a movie though basically a 2.5 hour episode will be DOPE
I wasn't impressed with series 6 at all. It was basically a dull 6 hour trailer for the film.
Use captions lol

they didnt stick the landing..just like Game of Thrones...makes me appreciate BB and BCS even MORE!!
BB yes. BSC we’ve yet to see. But I’m pretty sure BSC ending isn’t going to be as disappointing as this
@VoidCell I’d put Ozark right up there with BB and BCS. Yeah BSC was abit slow on the initial seasons especially Jimmy and Kim story arc. The introduction of Lalo turned things around.
The scene of him watching the burning carriage is truly him watching himself die, hes at his own funeral and he can finally leave it all behind -
The movie could literally go in any direction with how it’s set up, Tommy could be a man completely for peace, Arthur could be dead, what happens with Mosley after he tried to kill Tommy etc
@@alcoholicemu5836 Plot hole they outnumber Thomas just shot his Ass lol
also what did he tell his long lost son at the end ?
I like the ending but feel like little empty and unfinished.
That’s what the movie is for
@@evanmaguire2280 nevertheless they should have ended the series like a ending of a good series.
Yeah I don’t get how they knew Billy was the mole and that they would try to kill Tommy
Who is Asmay?
Esme😆 just tryna sound loyk ey peaky bloinda
I thought the last season was one of the best seasons and a straight up masterpiece
Too many Downs and nothing was but sad news. I gave it 6/10
Tbh everything after 1929 is good but the thing I didn’t get was Tommy’s suicide I mean he pulled the trigger saw his aberama and Polly and Barney’s death then bam 1933 I mean they didn’t show how tommy dealt with his suicide or how Lizzie said after that
I thought the season was a good one.A little slow at times but it closed the TV series in a good way.I would give it a 7.5/10 because the first three episodes were really slow but it going after that.
My thoughts exactly! Talk about hitting the nail on the head!
The third episode is where it picked up.. the “gold” episode.. and I love esme’s accenr
that last episode was CRAMMED FULL. very rushed compared to previous seasons
I really wanted a story about WW2 . It's there will be no series but I movie does well
I honestly prefer another season instead of a movie. Also the ending to season 6 was amazing and I’m worried they might not be able to top it.
About Gina and Mosley...
That was a way for Thomas to blackmail Gina into getting her uncle to London or something along those lines.
@@RJ_Cormac It didnt lead to anything, but it gave Tommy a vantage point.

Probably the weakest season overall. Some of the writing was poor and the pacing was terrible
Same here. Episode 6 was only decent one
I agree. Ruby getting sick really bogged down the season. And some of the dialogue was really cheesey, bordering on melodrama. It felt like season 6 was written by a different group of people.
I completely disagree. I feel they buttoned up so much, and the emotions were powerful. It’s the change of tommy so the vibe had to change.
I loved this season fr
Ok so I wasn't the only one who felt this way, season 5 was 10x better
you got me fucked up thinking that you can replace arthur and thomas those are the two that have made the show what it is and cillian murphys representation of thomas has been perfect.
I mean does it really have to be explained? Polly died. Covid happened. Season 7 cut. Whole story was rewritten
There's no peaky blinders without ARTHUR SHELBY 😝
How did tommy know Billy was an informant?
Season 6 should've been about Michaels revenge on Tommy. But he spent most episodes in jail :/
It wasn’t parked there throughout his time away. He travelled to his home and parked close enough for it to be seen.
I knew the doctor was lying immediately.
