Great video, I’m new to hats in Australia. I’ve got a small collection of Akubra hats and some wool felt hats. Really want to get a reasonable priced Indy hat but not found a maker in Australia. Yes Federation IV is Australian but it’s been not available for months with no availability.
Thank you! AdVintage Hats has The Harrison that is pretty reasonable price wise and the quality is very good. Currently, the hat is offered in three different shades of sable. I’ve worn mine a lot since I got it in 2020 and it just keeps getting better. Another option (one that I’m looking at to be my next purchase) is a Miller Hats option. They have the Miller Indy and their own version of The Harrison (not to be confused with the AdVintage Harrison). Both companies are mentioned in the episode below.
