Wow, good video! I was really hoping you'd show how the ribbon and liner were made, and how you stitched them in there. But even without that, this is one of the better hatmaking videos I have seen on RUclips. Nice job! :)
@@captainwesticle1654 thanks so much for the kind words and i’m so glad you enjoyed it! I try to make my videos as entertaining as possible, as well as informative. I can definitely do a step-by-step on the inner lining and sweatband. But the ribbon has been a bit of a challenge for me, I have not developed a consistent method of making them, even though they all come out looking almost the same but the last ribbon I made turned out really well, so I’ll try to show that in my next video! Subscribe if you haven’t already so you don’t miss it! 🙂

This is a great video! I also started making hats recently. I have only been making hats about a year, but really enjoy it! Where did you get the felt for this hat? I have been using Etsy but I am looking for a new supplier. The felt you used looks really nice! As for the slight taper you noticed at the end, I wonder if perhaps steaming the inside of the hat added to it. When shaping the crown and brim it's best to only steam the outside of the hat. Steaming the inside can add to shrinkage and taper easily. But overall, this is a beautiful hat!!! Thanks for the awesome content!!
Yes, my head is enormous. Baseball caps, I need to put it on the last little dot or whatever in the back. I love this hat. No one ever said a word about any hat I wore that I recall, and I’ve had this a couple weeks and got a whole bunch. It’s cool. Thanks, John!
Absolutely Incredible. There's not often such accuracy with the Raiders hat. Especially the Raider's Tilt
