I’m going to wear my brand new Indy hat everyday! I still can’t believe that I actually own a nice fedora! If it wasn’t for Thomas over from Advintage, I wouldn’t be able to own such a masterpiece. He was very generous with me and I can’t be anymore thankful for what he did for me. I don’t have family or friends to show this Beauty to but if I have the courage I would like to make a RUclips video about the fedora. Only thing is I’m autistic so I wouldn’t even know how to go about making a RUclips video. I think I would need more help then what I have currently. Your videos on the other hand are great 👍🏻 I love to see all of your videos showing off your gear! Great job
Congratulations, Chris, I’m so happy for you! Thomas is a wonderful guy to own a hat from! I’ll post a quick tutorial on how to upload a video to RUclips from a phone, if that’ll help!
Another amazing video! I love the history of all the hats. I lost my gramma today at 101 so this video is helping me be distracted from sadness. Thank you.
Thank you, Troy! My condolences about your grandma passing, I know that’s hard. Praying for you and your family. Have a good day remembering the good times. Kris
I love watching videos like this even though I'm not really interested in the Indy stuff on a specific level (I do like learning about the makers/brands/different styles though). Plus Indiana Jones is just cool, hard to not click into the videos.
Hey, thank you so much! I really appreciate that you’re taking the time out to tune in! Indiana Jones is just too cool not to talk about! Come on back, anytime!
Haha! That was a fun video Kris! Yes I always wear my Indy hat and leather jacket in a lot of conditions. I even have a nice almost Indy style leather satchel which my wife calls a man purse 🤣🤣🤣. But no matter what, I always push my Indy mode when possible irregardless of what people might say or think. I love it and fully enjoy.
Well done sir. I also frequently wear a fedora and leather jacket. I hope others will listen to your advice and be themselves as this often takes as much courage as Indy has. Thanks for what you do and God bless.
Thank you so much! Guys used to wear a fedora no matter what their job was and the time seems really ripe to get back to that. God bless you and thank you for watching!
Nice video! I recently had my old rabbit fur felt hat restored and it’s finally ready for many more adventures (it had to be restored because of how heavily worn and beaten up it was). I’m starting to wear fedoras all the time again!
0:58 he’s hat actually has the bow sligthly more near the front. If you look at pictures from indy in profil, the side you can see it is not in the center at the side but pushed more to the front.
0:24 you know, I’ve never thought that hat was 2-3/4 front back… or even 2-5/8 in the sides… I think that hat had to be wider than that… had to be closer to three. I’m thinking at least 2-7/8 front and back and 2-3/4 sides. I see the hats in all the other movies (in most of the scenes) as shorter than this, but I think in Raiders it was longer than what we have been thinking it was. The hat at the shot in 0:24 just looks closer to three inches to me…. I’ve always thought that at least in some scenes the hat brim dimensions were longer. What are your thoughts? 👍
You know, that very well could be that the brim is overall wider in Raiders. I’ve heard from a couple of places that the brim (or brims since they had more than one) was actually hand cut down after purchase; the inference being with scissors. Whether that’s true, I don’t know. I’ve also heard that they had several hats of varying brim sizes for lighting purposes while filming Last Crusade. That doesn’t look to be the case with Raiders because the hat really looks similar throughout the film. Thank you for this!
Cool hat i always liked it .,But for me personally I think the crown is too high. I would like to have that hat to, but I won't do it just because of the crown is to high.

Great video! I frequently wear an Akubra Catttleman in the fawn color and I tend to get the Indy comments, ha. Makes me feel just a bit cooler!
Akubra, man - you can’t beat it!

Christie gives me the man-purse bit, too😂😂
It’s really fun and most folks seem to really dig the hat and the jacket.
Thanks, John!

Excellent! That’s the spirit we all need!
Thank you for watching and sharing!
Another good video. What make/brand of jacket are you wearing in the video. I like the texture of the skin.
Thank you so much! It’s a Wested Raiders in goat skin. I love it!

I’m happy you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!

Great eye!
Excellent! 🤠
Thank you, Tim!
@@HatLifeAdventures You’re welcome! I’m guessing James Mangold picked the hat for DoD. But idk for sure. Who ever did picked a nice one! 👍
Yes he did! A very fine hat!

Of course Temple of Doom is actually a prequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark, so Indy would have had that hat first.
Yes, that’s true! Maybe he had the hat reblocked after his adventure in India.
What does it say in the hat
The hat liners have the logo of the hat company. Generally, the sweatbands have the name of the hat. I hope this helps!
Cool hat i always liked it .,But for me personally I think the crown is too high. I would like to have that hat to, but I won't do it just because of the crown is to high.
Yeah, I think that my hats are all lower in the crown than Indy’s. That’s fine by me; fits my face 😁👍
