It’s made in China by an American designer.

Hi! The brim is 2-1/2” on the sides and 2-7/8” front to back. The Hero Jr. I have is a 58. Looking back, I should have requested a 57, which is my actual size, because I don’t plan to be sweating in it, therefore causing the sweatband to shrink a bit. The crown on the Hero Jr. is close to 6” which is really pushing it for a guy of my size, at 5’8”. The AdVintage Harrison and the Fed IV both clock in at crown heights of 5-1/2”, which looks and feels much more comfortable on my modest frame. Miller Hats also offers a Harrison (not the same hat, to my knowledge) that has a 5-1/2” crown and you can pick your brim width. I’m considering one of those for my next purchase. Thank you! AdVintage Hats has The Harrison that is pretty reasonable price wise and the quality is very good. Currently, the hat is offered in three different shades of sable. I’ve worn mine a lot since I got it in 2020 and it just keeps getting better. Another option (one that I’m looking at to be my next purchase) is a Miller Hats option. They have the Miller Indy and their own version of The Harrison (not to be confused with the AdVintage Harrison). Both companies are mentioned in the episode below. The hat liners have the logo of the hat company. Generally, the sweatbands have the name of the hat. I hope this helps!

With crushing, I would think that it could take some punishment and pop back into shape. I would imagine that it could also handle a little rain shower. The website says that it’s been treated for water resistance. Thank you for watching and the question!
