    Good work on the shaping of the brim - almost looks like it's been flanged which I'm wondering if the pre-shaped hats come with.

      Thank you! It was definitely fun to work on. I think that the shaped version does include brim work.

    Nice job Kris! Yeah wool is definitely more work to steam and shape but it sure looks fun doing it outdoors 👍🤠

      He’s got a website up and running now, ready for orders!
      herohat.co/product/hero-jr-fedora/
      Etsy took his shop down for some reason but now he’s good to go!

    In your opinion, which is the most accurate and cheap fedora hat from Indiana Jones? 😸 And on the other hand, do you think you could compare the HeroHatCo with the Advintage or the Federation, please? I would really appreciate it😸

      In the next Chapter of “The Hero Jr. Saga” we will compare the Hero Jr. to the Fed IV, the Advantage Harrison and the Cotswold and we will use the Fedora 5000 and the Fedora 250 (aka micrometer)!
      As far as an accuracy/cost balance for appearance goes, I would say The Hero Jr. Then there are other factors such as material and ruggedness which come into play.
      You have given me a new idea!

    Just placed my order. Always nice ordering from an Indy vender and your reviews definitely helped make the decision

    Indeed a fine looking wool hat. It’s good to know there are options for a classic styled fedora in wool, and makes a very decent Indy hat. It would be interesting if they start selling them in other colors. Thanks for your video, I’m looking forward to the comparison video using the Fedora 5000 and the thickness measuring gadget.

    Hello Kris
    congratulations on your great channel.
    Kris, I want to know how you make the fold in the brim of the hat at ear level have that square shape.
    Thank you in advance for your valuable response.
    Greetings from Mexico

      Thank you!
      Unfortunately, I don’t seem to know what you mean about the fold in the brim.
      Are you referring to one of my hats or a cowboy style hat?
      I do have a hat shaping playlist, if you’re interested:

      Thank you for watching and your question!

    Looks fantastic!!! I want one but the site is down. Do you know if the site will be back up? I wonder if they can get a 61 or 7 5/8. They had a store on Etsy but it’s gone.

    What is the price differential between this and the Cotswold hat?

    • @HatLifeAdventures
      @HatLifeAdventures  7 месяцев назад +1

      The Cotswold is $64 U.S. to $125 for the Hero Jr. If you use the code mentioned in the video it becomes $115.

    You got to get a steamer! They are handy for getting wrinkles out of your shirts, too. 1,000X easier than boiling water.

    • @HatLifeAdventures
      @HatLifeAdventures  5 месяцев назад

      I keep telling myself that 🤣
      But I also like to show folks new to hats that a pot of boiling water can do the trick, too. Not as quick and easy, perhaps but it will work. Just get that hat!
      Am I looking too wrinkly?🤪
