The combos of stretches & poses showed me both how far I've come in my young yoga years (since beginning of pandemic), and also how much more possibility there remains with poses I cannot yet achieve. Love it when a BOP is slipped in! This was a fantastic practice with the dynamic movement in the beginning with the follow up of some more challenging poses. Another practice that makes me feel like I really accomplished something coming off the mat.
I could not reach all the poses but i'm thrilled to observe my evolution. It feels like i understood a tiny bit more what a yoga journey means. Thank you for your guidance.
This was markedly a different type of practice Charlie, from most of your other practices! The exaggerated movements while coming into the different poses is what makes this practice so creatively challenging & different. And your subtle sense of humour makes this that more enjoyable. This was super fun and just the work i was after this morning. Im not "flying" anywhere at the moment, but I look forward to the day i suddenly levitate. Im going to look for shoulder strength exercises so I can the side planing without discomfort
One of my all time favourite yoga classes I have ever done since I began my yoga journey ❤ today, after doing this practice many times, I finally managed to do all the arm balances. Some were more graceful than others but I am so grateful that I am able to do them and I am able to practice alongside such a creative and amazing teacher. Thanks so much for all the hard work you put into your flows, it is always greatly appreciated!!

I looooove this practice. I love how you put one challenging pose after another. A little bit inbetween- I DID EVERY ARM STAND. Except bop with my left leg up my hands slipped apart. I am so proud that after 2 videos a day- for almost a year (march7 is a year…. Flying splits. I work on that all the time. I also did the scissors to the right - held fast. The other side I almost did the legs. I did the splits
Hi me! I did this again, it’s challenging enough that I don’t mind that I just did this one, from the comment I see, three days ago. My bound lizard variation I had better grip than last time. and my flying splits weren’t wobbling. I hit them both solid. I did both scissors way better. I had my grip for the bind in BOP - I think the strength im using to squeeze into the bind is yanking me towards my leg that’s up, I’ve gotten a solid bind 2 or 3 times on each side. I think if I get more flexible I’ll have more ease and balance. Push up to 3 legged dog with just one door from kneeling or plank? I felt beefy. 😅
Loved this class, epk 1 and 2 incorporated and I snuck in a firefly before the headstand since it was practically there. The lead up to flying splits with the low lizard bind was refreshing and I think, crucial to helping me find lift off. Typically, my back leg feels like lead and I can’t shift forward enough to lift it up but this time, I held the pose with much ease although it probably didn’t look so good due to the lack of flexibility to straighten the front leg. Bird of paradise included too, so nice with all the stretches interwoven in the class.
A good improver class. Although not being able to reach into all the possess there are good opportunities to stop as far as you can go and breath into the pose and take it at your pace. I'm also doing the 21 day split challenge and this routine compliments it well. Trying to build strength and flexibility at the same time is hard, but accepting the process and committing to the practice I'm avoiding returning to he gym work where I always end up too tight. I was not able to do head stand, scissors pose but rest of the class i was able to complete it❤ in the middle i was shaking, sweating heavily, meantime i was thinking i will not be able to complete the class but finally i completed ❤commenting in the box just want to tell you i am feeling awesome❤i am yoggi just from last 1 year and learning with you hope so, sooner will be able to do head stand pose, scissors pose😊
