      I had to stay calm, slow and steady. I think if I would have tried to go fast and hard I would have beat myself up pretty good. This one didn't take a lot of physical effort, more of a mental battle trying to teach the body how to operate differently. Thanks for checking it out. Stay Rad Sir.

    For you not riding switch too much, I commend you for getting that switch backside slappy noseslide. Usually for me to get better at switch I'll just practice riding switch somewhere and also on the way back if I have time. It feels awkward at first but once you start doing it more, it'll feel more natural. When your friend showed up I did that no slide shove out I was totally shocked. You then getting his back was even better. 🤙

    Great work! I know that this trick is called the switch nose slide however the way I think of this trick is a Tailslide from the fakie position. This seems to help get my mind set right and allow my body to do what it needs.

    @TheHypotheticalSkater 6 месяцев назад +1

    Well done man! I learnt these about a year or so ago! Every time I try them now it takes me 15mins to get it back! I’d say it is switch as you are weighted more on the back foot to turn on to the slide. It does get a bit confusing! I get hate on my Slappy back tail tutorial video, people saying it isn’t a proper Slappy back tail 😂

    You look like you lost weight from a year ago. How much have you lost since starting skateboarding?

    • @AdventuresInSkateboarding
      @AdventuresInSkateboarding  3 месяца назад +1

      I lost a lot this year but it wasn't from skateboarding. This year I stopped drinking anything but water, brewed tea, and black coffee. I dropped 20 pounds in January and 15 pounds after that.
      I didn't plan on losing weight but apparently I was taking in an extra 2000 calories a day I didn't need in soda, energy drinks, and sports drinks. I still have a beer once every 2 weeks.
      Thanks for noticing and asking.
