So many negative comments about old tech. Well, that's because this isn't new. It's prolly 8 - 10 years old. Joe hasn't been a host for PN for a long time. It's still relevant though, because a lot of people can't afford a 15K build. If done today would prolly be 8K. Kinda fun for a weekend beater.

EFI tuning is boomer kryptonite, I really expected Mike to step in with some new tricks. Perhaps there's less red tape involved in taking factory EFI and going carbureted vs ditching the factory EFI and getting a standalone ECU.
The EPA and California laws are really hurting the tuning community. It's not good enough to just slap a sticker on the product and say "for off-road use only"

Autocross build with a roll cage and no extensive aero mods 🤔 something tells me nobody read the autox car classing guide. My STi is making around 700 to the wheels and I don't need a roll cage. Autox is typically less than 80mph anyways, for slow speeds like that you would need huge aero (like a dirt sprinter), which this obviously doesn't have. Why add all the extra weight of the roll cage?

They didn’t show you putting the middle subframe bolts in because once you remove the stock k member the hole in the body where it bolts is huge and the BMR frame only has a piece of tube for mounting. It needs a large surface area like the front and rear mounting areas. Idk how a company can go so far to make a nice product and F up one thing making it looked hacked up or you have to modify it yourself

Going back to carb on a ls car
.don't make no dam sense. Less efficient and les hp. The carb and Intake is roughly around the same price as aftermarket car style plastic intake. Even the stock ls6 and throttle body is more than adequate for 490 crank hp
