That's a sick car. Since we're all dreaming here......My dream car is the 2005 Carrera GT V10. I think that is literally the greatest car ever made. It's crazy that I remember seeing them selling for $375,000 and now I see them selling for more than double that. That would have been a sick investment car for a rich person.
Why would you have the windows down when driving fast in the modern era? As an owner of a 991.1.... I have never driven past 25 mph with the windows down for about 1,000 reasons. As a general rule, open ANY car's windows, even a convertible (with top up), while over 50 mph, and wind buffeting is an issue. Just do not do it, not a problem. I do disagree that she lacks in power at any rpm, but 3-4k RPM's is not a place I spend much time save lower gears in traffic. Nice review.
I believe it’s a natural progression to look past BMW’s towards the next level. It’s already happening to me. 997.1 or .2’s...and the non turbo in a GT3 is very tempting.
Watching this makes me get the itch for driving and speed! All I can do is driving my cheap ass stock 350z around, hopefully someday I will be able to buy something different

Definitely my next car but I prefer the 991.1 911 turbo to the Gt3 due to its daily driveability being more compromising and has better usabilty with its back seats and awd all season capabilities. The Gt3 is a better track car than the turbo but what 911 isn't track capable?

Any concerns about the high rpm misfire issues that the 991.1 GT3 engines were having? Those seem to have helped the depreciation but that's still a concern for me
The owner of this GT3 hasn’t experienced it and has done multiple track days seriously pushing the car. The car is covered under Porsche CPO warranty for another year and a half i believe & I do recall there being an engine replacement recall for the 991.1, although I did confirm that this specific GT3 is still on its original engine with no issues so far
It deletes both the center & side mufflers. You can also option it with a valved mechanism but this one is the non-valved version so it’s loud all the time 👍🏼
Yes, they are expensive no doubt 😂 And that’s part of why the M3/M4 is such an amazing car. it has so much all around performance for the money. However...when it does come time to upgrade (if ever) and you want something that is an even better car, the GT3 is one of the best options out there in my personal opinion.
Simply Car Things no doubt, my uncle has one that I’ve driven a couple times (I’ve got a short clip driving it on my channel) and it’s an unreal difference that numbers alone don’t do justice. Unfortunately it’s just god damn expensive lol

Can understand the midrange torque, since your used to twin turbos from the M4, which would be pushing massive torque midrange. The GT3 engine isn't a Torque monster but it just builds power continuously all the way to 9k 😎
Simply Car Things well ya they’d set up in flames and they would blow out after hard usage... plus the 4.0 is basically a Cup car motor so, therefore, it’ll be able to withstand much more punishment plus it’s available with a manual, my uncles drives a 991.2 GT3 in Carrera White and it is a manual
GT Fanatic I see many high mileage .1 GT3’s out there and many people still own them. I think it’s reasonable to say those issues are blown out of proportion

That’s actually the change I just made. Went from the 2017 M4 to the 991.1 GT3 . Prices on these cars probably aren’t going down much either.

Spot on with your comment man, I couldn't get over how sonorous the engine note is all the way to its redline
This engine revs so fast and sounds so damn good, that it more than compensates for the relatively low torque of the turbo cars.

The 991.1 isn’t worth it because that 3.8 is unreliable, the 991.2 is a much better all round car
