I really appreciated the breakdown at the end, and the reminder to always start with the electrical system, "then go from the outside in, and layer." That's the best advice on electrical systems I've heard so far. Whether it's a basic build or more elaborate, figure out what needs to get juice first.

Thanks for the GREAT information on the sequence of a van build as well as the different time frames and costs and weight considerations. As for hours to build: 2000 hrs. is considered one year of full time work (40 hrs. x 50 weeks) (don't forget the 2-week "vacation" 🙂

Love this conversion, is the bed 75" long as other full size mattresses? So nicely done.
Looks good, the only thing that would drive me crazy is having the fridge on the floor like that. Having a chest style fridge slide out from just under the countertop would be a lot more ergonomic.
Nice clean van. I do wonder about the roof fan being right at the top of the ladder.

Very nice setup, makes me almost want to leave my wife and kids and become a nomad traveler!😁 a little skeptical at the 23k build amount. I think you are fudging those numbers a little. If you can really build out that exact setup for 23k...you sir will have a lot of business.
I think that was a reference to material costs and not including the estimated labor hours.

Really nice build and presentation. I have 2 questions: why the significant power build out but not water? You didn't mention if this is for sale or that you build vans for customers, if you do and I missed it you may want to highlight that several times. I liked it enough I'll click through to your website, if that if your goal, 👍
I'm assuming that the power build out being significant is because of the induction cook top. Those things HAMMER your batteries, so you need a lot of amp hours. Otherwise, you use it once and wave goodbye to everything else that needs to charge.

How's your Promaster holding up? I heard there are problems with the Tranny.
such a thought through van but are there any quite water pumps in america. in Eu in vans convertionu cannot hear water pump but in N america it is a crazy roaring sound...
You can go with a foot pump instead if you don't want the noise.
@@trailandsummit7621 i know but i mean, every north american van has got this loud water pump outside the tank. it took me a while to find without this loud noise, but i found a cool water pump which cannot burned if there is no water it is small but powerful, one problem u need to install inside of the tank. however Germans do that for RV and mini cabins in the woods. apparently in EU it is very common to have this kind of pumps.
EL be Look into boat pumps. There are plenty of brands and models; a 13 liter/min flow is enough. Look for Johnson pumps, Whale, but also cheaper ones. Carry a spare pump as, at least in boats, they are usually short lived and you’d hate to be left with the soap on you!
pffff price for this van is more or less fine. u need to develop ur channel ur prices are real not as high as others if I were in US id defiantly use ur company and such a good thinking and planning abilities niiiice more tour videos. doing great so far

I bought a foldable sleeper chair that doubles as a bed/computer chair with a mousepad armrest attachment. This van looks like a giant bed on wheels. Why would you put a house sized bed in a van?! 🙄 I like the table and the panelling & the roof rack though. 😎

HYDROLIC GAS strut? How does that work? Isn't it one or the other? Fluids are non compressible, no?
Might as well get a small class C/B+ RV for the money it cost for a new van and to build one out.
This is one of the great dilemas!
Having one built exactly for your needs is worth the cost. I don’t cook much but I’m driving a kitchen around. I have a full size bed but would prefer a twin bed size and a desk area instead.
It’s a good idea to rent various rigs and see what you really use.

He mentions they are Black Rhino Wheels but doesn't say exact model.
We used Ultra Toil 450's on ours. We tried the Ultra Toil 470's, and they do fit, but you have to be careful as some of the Promasters front caliper brackets are heavy duty and a few millimeters bigger as the case with ours, so we had to send the 470's back. In any case, pro tip, if you're going to use aftermarket rims, you MUST remove the rotor pins or your rims will not fit flush.

nice van built...unfortunately Ram Promasters have very poor reliability , parts take for ever to get, poor construction /built quality ( made in Mexico) . Have you considered other vans /makes?
This isn't a high end build it's a copycat basic build nothing special about it I see vans like this everywhere on RUclips No customer features it's just copying what everyone else does
I dont get these headlines. Luxurios? hardly its a copy of almost every self build on the road. No imagination I can see 50000 vans that look just like it. This is nothing special. If you have someone do a custom van build at least try something new when it comes to layout and features. This has nothing new.
