Wow, I've watched A LOT of van conversion and this one ranks near the top. One of the things that bothers me most about most van tours is the builder describing WHAT they used to build the van with but not the WHY. The low weight plywood is a good example as well as the better solution of the pull up countertop extension solution. I'm impressed with the intent behind the build. Glad you are on the east coast too. Will check you guys out when I'm ready to build!
Would love to see a video on remote workspace examples! I'm a designer/illustrator so seeing computer setup/studio area would be so helpful. Your builds are amazing!
So cool! I’m glad I found this channel. I live near Philly and I’ve been wanting a van just like this. Only thing it’s missing is a spot for gaming on my pc.
Thanks! Drop us a line if you ever want to see the shop. We've done a number of computer screen setups. Nothing I would call a gaming setup but we could easily make it work.
Brilliant placement of the Hot Water Heater Switch. We do the same drill and someone always has to get up to flip the inverter and hot water heater 30 minutes before arriving.
I would love to see a twin bed version that will allow both to get up without disturbing the other. Extended van version? Suggestion, roundup the corners of the countertop extension and the table to avoid painful mishaps. Can the window screen and the privacy blinds be reversed so the privacy blind come from the bottom for better privacy? Well done, love the simplicity and functionality, congratulations!
Me too. That’s why I don’t like stationary beds. I prefer an open floor plan with bench seats on both sides that can easily be converted into a bed. The downside is no garage.
I can’t climb up onto a bed so was wondering about using a pull out couch or the electric beds (happy Ed) can fold 3 ways and starts at 12” -all the way up. This build is beautiful. Do your builds come with the van? How do I contact you? I like the ford eco boost, and the ram ext promaster chassis.
Looking for something to live in for 1-2 years & travel while working. Your confident presentation draws me to closely consider your product. Thanks! Will visit your shop soon.
Love the build. Can you make a rear bath, on an extended 4x4 chassis, with a larger refrigerator, and a couch that pulls out to a full size bed for a 6’2” man. Like the tires and lift… but would like a running board, metal mesh, to clean the mud off the boots.
@@ReadySetVan I’ll be the one who wants this exact layout with lighter wood, no passenger seat and a rod in the garage to hang clothes and a couple of places for hiding things and a small hidden safe and a table that sacrifices thickness and sturdiness for the ability to be pulled up or down out of the way. If it wasn’t for endless rving I wouldn’t have even known there was anywhere close who does this as you’re not listed in any of the online sources for van builders I see.

@@martha3202 Freshwater tank is inside (30 gal). The kitchen grey water can be diverted into an interior removable 7 gal can for 4 season operation. So beautiful. What's the grey water setup in this van? Capicity and emptying valves? Have you gotten any feedback on the placement of the cooktop near the bed? I'm concerned about my husband setting the bedding on fire and/or splattering food on it.
Great questions! The van comes with a 10 gal grey tank which can be upgraded to 20 gal. It is managed by an electric ball valve and exits with a standard hose fitting under the van so you can direct the grey water into a dump station if desired. We forgot to mention some of the cooktop options. The van includes an acrylic splash guard that goes between the bed and the kitchen and installs in a couple seconds. One of the nice things about the induction cooktop is that there is never any flame, and the cooktop remains much cooler. We also install a single burner (instead of the double) which gets mounted next to the sink.

Two Questions, First what size is that lovely shower you built? Second does the heat from your top burner stove heat up the control panel at all being directly behind it? Thanks
Thanks
Love the setup. Does the dinette table fold down ? I ask because if you are a tall driver and want to move the driver seat back, will there be enough room with that table positioned where it is ?
I keep hoping to see something designed for wheelchair bound. I would also be doing the driving and will require a ramp or lift. I also would like an awning that could be remotely extending because of the extreme difficulty I would incur if I tried. I have lost both legs one below and one very much above the knee. Thanks
