It's so exciting to see someone in a younger generation with an appreciation for older things. This was a great tour! Thanks for sharing. Keep up the exploring, and I pray you and your team stay safe.
I’ve watched a few “urban explorer” type videos on other channels but this one is the best. Ethan is so respectful of the properties even though they are being torn down. This channel deserves a lot more subscribers.
Omg Ethan!! This one is absolutely gorgeous. Shame that it wasn't bought with the idea of some renovation and major clean- up. The architecture is amazing, along with all the extra feature....such as those beautiful kitchen cabinets and the decorative glass door panels.....fireplaces are awesome also. What a shame☹☹🏛
This is no cookie cutter McMansion! A lot of money spent on comfort and a relaxed elegant feel. You can see that they enjoyed their home. Nothing ostentatious, just living well. A really good tour.
U make me feel so SO OLD when you see a VCR and expression is a ? mark above your head...lol! No hate, just makes me laugh and feel ancient, but can't say I don't enjoy all your explorations, I've spent HOURS watching your vids!! Keep up the great work!!
VCR……what about beta, or if you had money….laser disc, literally 12”dvd’s…..making me feel like I should be in a nursing when I was only born in the 70’s
Heck, I still have my VCR to play old movies I have, and it makes it possible to get movies on the CHEAP at yard sales etc! lol I just can't see myself buying downloaded versions of movies. If I don't have it in my hand it doesn't feel that I've gotten anything for my money. lol It's just our life experiences dictating how we do and see things.
First and foremost, congratulations on the 73K. I see a RUclips plaque coming your way! I’m so glad to see that your channel is growing. I hope that some of those beautiful doors and windows are going to be repurposed. I can’t even imagine what the developers paid for that 5 acres of land! You said you saw more mansions being built in the area, I certainly wouldn’t want a multiple unit housing to be built near my property. Thanks for sharing this with us. It’s a great find ☮️💟 Nana
I absolutely love winter explores! This house was extra awesome, too! Definitely prefer the homes that haven’t been vandalized. Hopefully, they don’t find this one before it’s torn down. Thank you for sharing, Ethan! I enjoy your explores the most 🤗🤗
I've always liked English Tudor style homes. As someone who grew up in the 80's, you normally saw this style on large homes and it was considered one of the pinnacles of luxury for the time so the fact it was built in 1983 makes total sense ; whoever built it had some serious bread for the time
It's just incredible that these homes are just abandoned and not sold. However, we don't know the history behind this abandonment. Ethan, keep exploring and posting the videos!
You know for a young guy you got good taste! You appreciate architecture and that's a good quality to have to do this job well! Thanks for your hard work!
FREAKING AMAZING!! I've always liked the Tudor style architecture, it always gives me like a warm, cozy vibe, although cozy is probably not the best word in reference to a place of 10,000 square feet . It is such an incredible home with so many beautiful details and amazing property!! You guys are killin' me with the bathroom banter, hairy soap, soap babies 😳😂🤣🤣☮️
Absolutely gorgeous! I want this! So much! But can you imagine the heating and air conditioning bills! 😳 But I truly love this. Maybe they left everything because they could get more. Thanks for this! I can only dream 💜
Bro absolutely stunning find, you litterally show off the beauty of these homes , and the retro originality is amazing im 26 but I absolutely love homes from 70s 80s, much luv, and thank you
Of all the big family homes that I've seen on this channel, I think that this one is one of my two favorites. But this is one tht I could actually imagine a family living in. It's got all the bells and whistles, but at the same time is warm and welcoming. I can't imagine where a family could live after having lived here. It's absolutely gorgeous AMD homey - not something that is often the case. I vote a big yes on this one Ethan! Now, back to the videos: I'm trying to catch up!
What an exquisite and massive mansion! I love it so much and wish I wasn't going to be torn down. I love Brent @AUC and Noah too. You all are the best explorers. Thank you Ethan for another fantastic video!
Does anybody have that weird urge to just cleant the whole house? Like fold the clothes, put them in the right place and make the whole house all nice? 😍
All I can say is WOW!! This house is unbelievably cool! I would have liked to have seen it back in the day when it was lived in. How they had it furnished & what every room was used as. Just an incredible find & as usual so sad it will soon just be an “echo of the past” 😒 Thanks for sharing this beauty Ethan👍
Beautiful home, such a shame that it's not being lived in. I hate seeing homes that are abandoned and in good shape that could easily be lived in by someone, drives me crazy! It would be a different story if the house was a piece of crap but it's not. Thanks for a nice, lovely explore Ethan❤️❄️
Taxes…..just cause you can afford a big ass house doesn’t make it ideal to stay in it especially when your paying $45/$55k a year…..trust me I had a huge to me 4500sq ft home with 5 bedrooms and 6 bath rooms ….and a year after moving in we put in a $75k pool……after the county found out about the pool the following year our taxes went up $2k just for a pool …….the house we paid cash for so every year when the taxes came it was a $15k hit……..I told my wife this is nuts , we only have 2 kids and don’t need all this space , so we sold the house for a major profit and moved into a 2500sq ft 4bdrm 3 bath home and only get a $7k hit every year for taxes……yea it’s nice living in a large house but it gets old quick…..and I hate stairs lol 😂
Canada seems to have an affinity for the center staircase curves and curved opposite into the basement, it is very pleasing to the eye but I do notice it is in literally every abandoned mansion. This channel is awesome, I have been binge watching the last couple of days while home sick. Thank you for taking the time to show the details 🙏🏻💯
THANK YOU so much. I love all the detail you show us. Your friend ran through this house in 12 minutes and didn't really show anything. We got here's a bathroom and no look inside. I got see 80% more of this house in your video. Your videos are not to long, because of how you talk to us. Of all the explorers I have watched, you are the best! They could learn a thing or two from you.
Very nice. Thanks for shedding some light on the bathroom. See a really large home could be divided into a triplex and 3 families could live in an upscale home, without being right on top of each other.
You nailed it again. So crazy how the doors and windows are open. The ice and water jugs.. Thank you Ethan for all your hard work.. Maybe wear a scarf so you aren't so cold. 😃😃😃
You did awesome on this. I wasn't expecting the in-law suite...especially with an upstairs. That house is just massive. There was definitely an Asian family considering all the little signs throughout the house. It's too bad that the water is damaging it...especially the preventable from those water bottles splitting. It's such a beautiful home and I bet that pool area was incredible. After all that moisture though from the frost it will never be the same.
@@ekaterinas8796 it was outside. You see it when it walks up and a little from one window. Noah Nowhere was there too and got more shots of it. Check out his vid too. These guys did awesome on this house.
This house has so much character! I would live here all day long! It actually seems to be a huge house with basically 2 apartments within. The last area was a kitchen and living area with the bedroom up those last stairs.
I just love your videos! I love mid century vintage homes. It has so much more character than modern homes. Keep up the great work and God bless from Louisiana!
I love that house. I can’t believe it probably got demolished. Too bad they left windows snd doors open. I also can’t believe people leave so much stuff in a house. I love the fact that it’s a Tudor house, the beautiful staircase, marble floor, parquet wood snd herringbone floors, the stone fireplace, the cherry wood snd bricks by the ovens, the colored flowers in the window in the office, the built in cabinet, the sunroom with flowers engraved on the door. Three kitchens wow! I counted six bedrooms including nanny quarters snd six bathrooms. I don’t know if I’m right though. You’re really good at this Ethan. 😀
So glad I happened upon this older video. What an insane house! So so huge. Love the Tudor styling and so many unique ceiling angles upstairs. Love the huge stone fireplace and those stained glass windows. So pretty. Agree the kitchen kind of small for the size of house but were there really only 3 bedrooms. That 3rd floor was gigantic and probably an amazing playroom once and that basement room was huge. Would have loved to see that home furnished in its prime. Was probably overwhelming to pack up that house to move. Thanks for this so fun explore. That was a house one could truly get lost in. So sad to think of this home just erased. What a beautiful setting also. Take care Ethan and keep safe.
I loved the sunroom. For me, it would be a perfect place to put a hot tub. All the things left behind just speaks to the consumerism & excess displayed by those with so much money. Thank you for this explore. Stay safe!
Only garbage was left behind….I would have left it too. ….when you have to relocate especially long distance it is often usually cheaper just to buy new stuff than to ship the old stuff
Wow, that is one cool place, shame it is going to be demolished. love your excitement in this one Ethan, think it's probably the most excited I have ever seen you get about a basement , cos I know how much you love those basements hahaha, thanks Ethan all the best from England Uk x
I have always loved the Tudor style homes! The world doesn't need another high rise! It needs more classic homes like this! The decor is old but the finishes are very nice! Beautiful wood work! Instead of leaving this stuff behind it would have been nice to donate these things....ya think? I wonder if these people had live in help. Otherwise, why so many kitchens? Anywho...thanks for the tour! 😁❤️😁
Love this house! Such an interesting layout. The doors and windows with the etchings are beautiful. The fireplace in the living room, the sun room and the stairs, absolutely stunning. I also like the location, very private. I hate the thought of someone tearing it down and building that ugly high-rise. I also don't understand how so much stuff is left behind, so much waste. Hey Ethan 👋. Such a cool house. Love the fireplace! I can't believe they tried to fake the crown molding. I still can't get over every abandoned house in Canada leaving the TP 🧻 behind.
Had to come back and see this beauty again when I saw your post that it was being demolished! What a d*mn shame!!! Loved this explore. Thanks for taking us there before the wrecking crew moved in. Appreciate all your work and time spent making these videos for us. Keep on exploring! 👏👍❤🇺🇸
Amazing as always! I definitely love the 80s style. They must have had money to give the nanny such an elaborate quarters. The one attic bedroom (purple walls) was really neat.
Just got through watching this video. You did a great job. Sorry it was so cold for you. I just want you to know I love watching your videos. You are so polite and fun to watch. You always explain things so clearly. You are far above others people with your video. Keep up the good work and know I am watching all of your shows I love them. You are the best by far.
What's up Ethan! What a beautiful house or mansion for as big as it is. I'd say it's late 70's early 80's from some of original interior. Like that downstairs stove looked 70's. Lol, the VCR/vhs, I’m old. I love how you know a little something about the materials, styles and names of them. Some of these explorers need to do a little research. Your content is superb!
I really enjoyed your adventure and love how you appreciate the features of the home and take the time to show so many details that are amazing. Stay safe and look forward to the next video.
I'm puzzled why the builders of this house used relatively inexpensive finishes (fiberglass tub/shower enclosures, counter tops etc) and did not install a rust filter on the fresh water supply (as evidenced by the rust stains in the white sinks, shower, etc) House exterior is lovely but inside does not quite live up to promise of outside. Great work Ethan! Love your videos.

I am amazed at what they leave behind and why ?
What a waste.. there MUST be quite a story behind this place being abandoned! Like where they go?
😮

This is a gorgeous house. That fireplace is amazing and love the staircase and kitchen
This is a great house Ethan. You found a great one!!!!! Thanks for showing it....keep shining!
Wow! The nanny's quarters in the house was huge! It's bigger than the apartment that my husband and I lived in when our two children were babies.
Thankyou for your time and your videos god bless you and your family
Wow this house is fanominal , truly breaks my heart to see such amazing and beautiful houses get demolished. Great job Ethan.👌

One of my favs! Excellent job exploring; per usual. Loved the frost on the mirrors. You seem to find some of the best locations! Love it!
Boy, Nutone cornered the market on home intercoms back in the day. Lovely house. Love theses videos.

I love this house Ethan! Tudor Revival is my favorite! Thank you so much my Canadian friend!
This is one of the coolest tours yet!
the house definitely doesn't disappoint, beautiful fire places, just beautiful, such a shame, thank you for sharing
Love this house! Such an interesting layout. The doors and windows with the etchings are beautiful. The fireplace in the living room, the sun room and the stairs, absolutely stunning. I also like the location, very private. I hate the thought of someone tearing it down and building that ugly high-rise. I also don't understand how so much stuff is left behind, so much waste. super good video with another exciting house 🤙🤩🤙

Such as beautiful home and the privacy they have with no nearby neighbors for miles what a dream
Hey I used to install those rain Bird lawn sprinkler systems lol
Awesome entrance hall with big lantern pendant light, abandoned mattresses, nice single mattress with floral cover

Yes another beautiful mansion amazing 😍 can't believe they're going to tear it down love the fireplace thanks for showing
Beautiful entryway and staircase. Love this. Thanks for sharing, Ethan.
Thanks for turning lights on !!!!!!! 😊
I'm glad to see you in a better mood.... You're the best Ethan 💗
What's up Ethan! What a beautiful house or mansion for as big as it is. I'd say it's late 70's early 80's from some of original interior. Like that downstairs stove looked 70's. That basement was massive! I love the stained glass and the living room fireplace was gorgeous. Impressive with that in-law suit with the kitchen and all. Loved the whole place. Stay warm and keep rockin'!
I was gonna say a late 70’s vibe from those appliances too and the yellowed intercom’s
Lol, the VCR/vhs, I’m old. I love how you know a little something about the materials, styles and names of them. Some of these explorers need to do a little research. Your content is superb!
Love this house, great job filming in the cold & ice. Thx 4 sharing😁
Thank you fir showing all the rooms no one does that the ones i have seen left us half hanging
