SUMMARY:
-If you're acting a bit off as you get on the plane, they might mark you down as a potentially problematic passenger.
-During boarding, they’re holding a special counter to keep track of how many passengers have boarded!
-If your life vest is missing, it’s probably become a souvenir for a sticky-fingered passenger before you.
-If everyone uses their phones, it can seriously interfere with communication between air traffic control and the cockpit!
-The plane won't take off until you're out of the bathroom.
-Flight attendants only get paid for actual flight hours.
-There’s no fixed work week.
-In most cases, the crew only learn who they're flying with right before the trip.
-When passengers choose to stretch their legs or go see a friend in the other row, it starts a traffic jam.
-There are some leftover meals on almost every flight. If you're hungry for more, it never hurts to ask!
-You can normally get the best service in the back of the plane.
-The onboard tanks it comes from don't get cleaned that much.
-Their main duty is to assist the captain in keeping things on board safe and acting fast in case of any unexpected situations.
-If you just want a glass of water, you can stretch your legs and go get it.
-Don’t use the call button to ask the crew where the plane is flying right now.
-They have to fish napkins out and throw them away separately, and that just wastes their time.
-If your kid is stuck inside or something, you just have to lift the lavatory sign and slide the knob into the unlock position.
-The tray tables just get a quick wipe down with one rag for all the rows.
-A hair spray or deodorant will set off the alarm if you use it on board.
-Larger airplanes have little hidden rooms for the crew to rest.
-The emergency-exit shades must be up so that the flight attendants can see if it's safe outside before they open the doors.
-You can sometimes see flight attendants make it more of a stand-up comedian piece or even dance on board!
-PAX is short for passengers. UM is an Unaccompanied Minor.

I usually take a seat in the back, and what about you? Do you prefer window or aisle? How about that middle seat?
First like and comment but i like window
BRIGHT SIDE
IS GOOD
Window seat
I’m in first class
@@maddxie4160 window is better in my opinion
There was a crabby flight attendant on a short flight I took several years ago. I made it my job to smile at him and be friendly to him. I actually got a smile out of him by the end of the trip.
That's so cool! I bet you made his day!
Once my flight atenddent was giving a safety demonstration and she said “stay calm or it will all fall apart just like my date last night.”
Lol!!!
Lol...😂
😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Ha
Lol😭
I've flown Army Air Corp Dakota, and Iriqouis. Civilian flights are so much luxury I wouldn't dream of complaining, and I'm so grateful for the cabin crew and all the hard work they do.
Thank you for your service.
-"Just ask for more food!"
Me, an introvert: Eh, nope!
I'd feel pretty shy asking a flight attendant if there was any extra food on board
SO TRUE
I was a flight attendant and I felt, then & now that the passengers were usually as positive and friendly as I was to them. Without the passengers there is no airline, remember that
That is a great attitude to have
I make sure to smile at them and speak to them as I board. Their job is hard enough without cranky people and troublemakers !!!
Awwh
Random fact: Tears contain a natural pain killer which reduces pain and improves your mood. 💧💧
Only when they’re emotional tears...tears from cutting up onions don’t have endorphins (a natural pain killer) in them.
Coooooolllll
Yep, the body is seriously cool.
I SEE YOU EVERYWHERE!!!!!
That's why I don't let my enemies cry
On my flights from America to Japan, I love sitting in a window seat and my husband loves the aisle seat. We usually sit in the very last row by the tale of the plane. Also, my favorite airline in JAL (Japan Airlines)
Tale????
I love a window seat coming into Singapore at night - all the islands and lights - it just lovely!
I normally pick aisle seats cause I tend to go to the bathroom a lot. I don’t want to bother the other person when I’m traveling alone. Though sometimes I like the window side. The problem with international flights is there’s too many impolite and entitled passengers thinking they can just do whatever they like.
Thats really considerate of you!
:^D I usually go window cuz my family travel I go with (I'm under 18 yrs old) never sleep but try too and I feel safer in window
True
Change “airline” with “social media” in the last sentence and you’ve just summed up the internet.
@@iffatmansoor5589 you should sit in middle if you want to feel safe. Just my opinion.
One time when they were giving the safety demonstration the flight attendant was singing it😂🤣
(Edit) Thank you so much for all the likes 🤭
ha ha that would have been funny

Crumbs! I'm almost a million miler with Delta and I never realised that they dont like you putting your rubbish in your empty stackable cup.
I thought I was being helpful by consolidating my waste into one pick up. Cheers for the tip.
Same here! I’m glad I now know that I’m doing the opposite of being helpful.
*edited for grammatical errors
Yes, I was surprised to read that as well.
NOTE: There are no bathrooms on a plane, just toilets.
Well if your are on emirates or quarter and if your in business or first class and it’s a long flight there will be a shower
And in 3rd class there's no toilet just some piles of cockroaches
@@tanugovisru ya true I went once
You forgot the pilot bathroom!
@@aashiyanaashfaqueiv-aroll-4131 No BATHroom for them either.
I do prefer sitting in the back. I’ve had a chance for great conversations with flight staff which has always paid off when I do ask for something. It pays to be nice.
Hello random person scrolling through comments! I hope you have a great day!!

Can’t wait until we can all fly wherever and whenever we want!!✈️✈️✈️
I think we will all be a lot more careful now
That would be like heaven 😇
Actually sitting in the front of the plane has best service. On every airline I’ve been on (and that is a lot) it is always served from front to back.
Lets be honest, no one likes the middle seat
Hi
To top up problem,if there is shared hand rest
Sure thing
I love aisle seat
yumi i like the middle 🥴
To the people who are having a bad day

thank you, this was a really bad day

I was really lucky when i was younger, This flight attendant noticed i was a little stir crazy on a long flight and was chatting with me.
He asked my folks if it was ok, and He showed me one of the back windows just in front of the galey in the back, which is much larger showing me the sights of the area we were flying over, and telling me about the plane and how it works.
That dude was cool af😎 Thanks bro!
Tip: when you have a night flight write out your routine Morning flight tip : try to eat breakfast before u get on the plane

I always wondered that!!

Sitting in the back increases your chance of less occupied seats. I've had the entire row to myself--- feet up, extra tray room and close to lavatory. Alas, you do have to deal with the line for the loo, though...
Once my mom was on a plane trip and then a flight attendant fainted and my mom helped her since she/my mom is a doctor she helped the attendant.
Humph - I end up in the middle seat. Daughter likes the window, hubby likes the aisle. I do prefer the window to watch the amazing scenery on landing. Dubai was amazing, so different to Australia. Great video!
Fun fact: tail of the plane is safest place that’s the reason why are there blackboxes
Marek Strach really?
also the most "turbulent" since the plane swings all the time....
It is the safest place because it's the heavies and at the same time the part that they put the most metal and tons on it.that's why if u on tge back in a plane crash u have a 70% of surviving
Tamara Pierre really my mam was flight attendant and she know that form pilots.
Quite right. Unless of course the take off is too steep and the tail smashes on the ground. Or the plane breaks up (the centre of the plane where the wings attach is by far the strongest). Or if the plane stalls. Or if there is a problem with the tail or stabilisers which will rip the tail apart.
Actually the only thing that makes the tail safer is the fuel isn’t stored there.
Flight attendants are super awsome once on a plane my stomach felt sick and one of the flight attendants offered me special tea 🍵
I feel inlove with a flight attendant once, she looked like Pat Bennitar, on my way into the Army.
Did you two get togethet?

okay, i'm just gonna say this.I have seen MANY bad reviews on Alaska airlines. and I, [ being still a kid { 11 } lol ] was traveling alone. I haven't seen anything about the airline and flying alone as a kid but i wasn't scared/worried AT ALL! there is no reason to be scared of flying alone! it was safe, quiet, and very uneventful. i was sat in the LAST low in the plane given a lot care and even a snack box! ( better than you think! ) and even some treats that only first class got! so to anyone traveling alone as a kid don't be scared! it"ll be great! :D
when you said the flight attendants say to the pilots when you go to the bathroom before takeoff, that was such a relief for me if you ask me.

I knew most of the things, you described , my daughter told me all of it, with the exception of the code. She used to be a flight attendant every time we flew together or my self we wiped our seats especially our trays. .. Since she knew the job we hardly asked assistance from flight attendant...
My daughter is a flight attendant and most of these aren’t true or exaggerated or outdated.
What are her pet peeves? I hope my napkin in the cup didn't ruin someone's day ;$ lol
C V Passengers that won’t comply with safety guidelines.
Passengers that drink too much before a flight, once in the air it effects some ppl to
feel drunker. Basically misbehavior.
I completely agree. 51+yr recently retired flight attendant here. ■ In my career I NEVER saw any flight attendants with any type passenger counter - during boarding or otherwise. ■ Napkins in cups = no issue. ■ Extra meals - that's a time-warp, especially since Food For Purchase. The list goes on & on. So much fluff - nothing substantial here.
I suspected as much 😃
I flew Air France and by morning I was hungry and they gave me a second meal and it was just as delicious as my first meal!

No, The Aisle seat is the best.
Nice video. Thank you 👍🏼👍🏼
I like the aisle seat as i feel sick in window seats (I can see and feel the plane moving) but in aisle it’s much better and I just normally enjoy the aisle seat more as it’s closer to people
I love to seat near the window that's my best sit even when I'm in the car
I prefer aisle seating because it is very easy to get up for toilet, get food and get off the plane easily. It is also comfortable as one is open for stretching. 😉
for me window is the best and i learned many facts from you thanks for your nice explanasion
who else wants a seat by the window
I remember that when I was going to Australia to Mew Zealand.i saw some Australians.
Going back and forth!to talk each other.
When I was little on a plane I say hello to all the staff cause it made them look so happy

5:30 I can relate to this. I work as a dishwasher, nothing frustrates me more than people who insist on leaving silverware on top of their plate instead of off to the side or on the tray so now its nigh-impossible to stack plates unless we (or someone else) takes the time to move silverware off to the side OR when they leave half or even a full cup of liquid on the dishcart when they pass at least one or two sinks on the way to the dishcart. Or yes, leave trash in their cups. We wash dishes, we don't collect trash! It's like, reallllyyy?! T_T
I was cabin crew for BA. Why not make a simple announcement before the meal about leaving cutlery on the tray?
Window! I looove seeing the view and taking pictures
Thnx for the video
I am in love with sitting at the wings and either a aisle or window seat. Aisle so I can escape the plane faster and actually be able to see the safety briefing. you get off the plane faster. I like window seat so I can see what is outside and you have a head rest. lol
The wall is full of germs, don’t do it
6:06 lol 😂 no toes
Hahahaha
Great info !
I literally love flight attendants 🥰
I don't have to worry about getting a extra meal because in am a kid and I usually fly solo so free food for me
me too
totally relatable
free food is the best and i almost always get unlimited free food
:D
I also am a kid 👦
Wow
My grandfather was an actual rocket scientist. On his recommendation I always try to get a seat in the rear of the plane, or as he put it "the smoking section", because the chance of surviving a crash is far greater if you are in the back rather than being in one of the seats that arrives at the wreck first.
I love the window seat it’s best for recording resting and on board service
I feel like I like having the window seat since it has an amazing view
I like window seats, but I'm okay with either. The middle seat doesn't bother me either. It's the wing seat I particularly prefer, because I seem to feel the turbulence a lot less. It's funny, when I was in the Air Force and I was flying to another assignment, I think every time I was put on a wing seat, and now I think I understand why. When I was closer to the front, it felt less stable.
I cried the whole way to the airplane, when I came in the airplane all flight attendants were so nice to me! I even got to see the pilots to make me comfortable. When we were in the air I stopped crying and all was okay. I will never forget their patience 🙏. My flight was with KLM (Dutch France airline) 😇❤️
passengers as flies 😂
4:26 i liked that part when the flight attendant is wearing the MLG sunglasses
definately window a i used to travel alot and sit in the mddle ails or the first but now i am going to sit in the back thanks alot
What software do you guys use to produce theses animations? I need to know to make my work easier!
I been kicked in the back by a flight attendant she pist me off. I was just getting over a flu and my time of the month had started all at the same time. So I was moody already.
oof
hey man she didnt do it bc of the flu she did it so it wouldnt make a mess, she didnt want your blood leaking to the back of the plane so many people can see
I learn more here than school thank you bright side
I adore a back of the plane aisle seat!! Close to the lav!
I like the window seat the view is amazing
I"ve asked for seconds multiple times on transatlantic flights and the FA's had no problem hooking me up, they said that it gets tossed when they get to where you're going.
Responding to your question at 4:00 I prefer the window seat in the 4th row in narrowbodies and a left seat on the inside of the middle row on widebodies
bright side ur amazing and im subscribed
One comment - sitting at the back does not guarantee early food service if the galley is at the back - more than likely the food trolley will be moved to the front of the section to start the meal service.
Another "flight secrets you don't know" video said "don't sit at the back because you won't get your meal until last". LOL! 🤣
The Best channel is Bright Side
I love the widow seat since the first time I travelled
I like the wing seat and the window seat! How did they say that?
"23 flight secrets airlines dont want you to know"
Ofc i wanna know =w=
A few of those pieces were false information, im a flight attendant myself, the first thing is, yes when the seat belt signs are on the window shades have to be open but we don't use the windows in the cabin to check if its safe, we have our own windows on the door that we look through to check its safe, and we don't start the service during the back all the time, sometimes its just the back or just the front but then we start the service from both ends if the flight is really busy (full)
I’ll see is the best I love the aisle seat because you don’t have to Scooch by it’s perfect
For me the service started from the front to the back on the flights I was on in 2019 with Delta and I was in the back
4:59 IS THAT GUY PEWDIEPIE
😂😂
I try to leave the seat on the plane when I leave and fold the seat belt ready for the next passenger. Every little bit helps. Also I tend to go for window seats, as quite a lot, one can lift the armrest by the window, and one can get a bit more bum room, even on takeoff and landing.
Thank you
Cool video
Keep it up
Amazing

So we squeeze our phones to turn them off? Oh ok
Lol
No lol
Go to settings and turn your phone on airplane mode
4:27 meme glass srsly
i like siding aside the window so i can look at everything and it feels more comfortable
I like the window seat, I like staring outside the window while takeoff and landing :)
My sister was 99.99% of the times an UM
She has been living in London for 4 years. When she graduates, I'm finally gonna see her again
I see her or summer and other holidays but I wanna live with her she's my sister I don't see her often 😭
Also we talk on phone and on skype but still I wanna see herrr 😭
I like window cuz it keeps me distracted from being airplane sick😷 (also to see the beautiful clouds)
I think you mean "Airsick"

Very nice facts!
I like the isle at the back of the plane. Close to the washroom. You can see if it is empty without getting up.
I could spend years and years but still wouldn't be able to get all the facts and secrets right.... 😅😅😅😜
I usually sit wear ever my mom buys tickets for, she prefers the back Because my baby brother moves around a lot. I like the window seat so I can get a beautiful view of the sky:)
I love the window sit
My best friend Nancy is a flight attendant and I show her this video ❤️
•Why don't they give the passenger the whole can, instead of pouring the contents into a little plastic cup?
•Also, if you fly Southwest on National Donut Day, everyone receives a small package of donuts😊
Wow cool
I can think of 3 reasons: (1) Economy; they can stretch the number of drinks served, (2) easier to deal with trash pickup when they can stack the empty cups, and (3) fewer people needing trips to the restroom during flight.
@@maggiekelly4055 hi
One reason we don’t give out the whole can when you ask for a drink. We can’t go down the street and buy more when we run out.
On shorter flights your more likely to get the can, but for long haul it has to last the whole 15 hours with two meal services.
That pisses me off just getting a plastic cup instead of a can but if u ask nicely u will often get what you ask for.
Bright side the channel that knows almost everything so who loves bright side
I love the windows set
