RUclips HLG3 Gerald Undone, If shooting 8bit HLG3 >>> S-Log2/S-Log3. If your camera supports 10bit like sony a7siii, than slog can help with higher dynamic range. HLG3 on 8bit has almost same dynamic range and is much easier to grade in post and also much easier to expose. Skin Tones is way better in HLG3.
What about sheater speed while shooting in day light please tell them otherwise they ll get confused

Just one small thing, the s-log or any log in most of the
non-cinema cameras are still like jpeg's while capturing image, but due to some different luminance curve & less compression they contain more information than any standard picture profile for post processing.
For Capturing True RAW Video in camera you may need a camera like Sony a7siii/FX3 that too with an externel 16 bit RAW footage recorder from Atmos but then the file size will be massively huge as every single frame in a 4k 30fps video will be of approx 16-18mb which means 500mb/sec video & then converting it to mp4 will take ages for most of the pc's🤯🤯
And then forget about 4k 60fps slo-mo b-rolls as that may eat 16gb of storage for a 15sec of captured video😂😂

Log and raw files work on totally different basis
i cant explain log but raw format of video works just as a raw image
you can change your iso and white balance in raw video but you cant change these things in log
a6400 and a7iii does not shoot raw they just shoot log

@@Readwithsumit I am also confused with 30mm 1.4 as I want to make Travel and Cinematic content....!! What do u say as 16mm is wide and we dont get that 30mm look when we are far away from the subject. I also looking for making MUSIC VIDEOS in future....!!
@@thr6453 when I got a6400 I had the kit lens for wide shots and 30mm 1.4 when I needed medium shots and some depth
I won’t suggest kit lens , it’s totally waste of money
You can go for 16mm 1.4 and 30mm 1.4 both because you need medium shots as well as wide shots
And these two lenses will be enough for almost every work ,
Also if you are looking for only one lens then there is new lens by tamron 17-70 f2.8 , again it has its own flaws
I have used sigma 1.4 lenses and I must say those lenses are damn sharp .
@@Readwithsumit And what do you say about 56mm 1.4? It is really good for portraits but we have to go way too far as it is equivalent to 85mm.
Actually because I am starting out, I am really on a budget and I can spend around 40k on lenses and Only one lens comes under this category that 18-105mm f4. But as Sigma lenses are very much sharp and have very good quality I can go with that too.
But I am confused with Primes as I dont know which focal length will be better for me as I am starting out. I am buying A6400 and want to start out with one lens.
My parents are helping in the Camera part and for lenses I am using my saved money. After buying my setup I will start to earn and then I will upgrade my kit. What do you say which lens should I buy in this situation?
Also please give me some tips for earning also as I will put all the money in upgrading my setup, I am also habing a very old PC. I have to look for that too...

First Log is not Raw. 2nd don't ever calculate your exposer with camera meter as it can easily get fooled by Bright or Dark parts of frame. 3rd even histogram is not that reliable in terms of Video. 4th 8 bit bit is color depth and has nothing to do with the noise in the shadows. If you expose the S-log correctly you will not see any noise. 5th Editing difficulty is not because of 8 bit or 10 bit footage it is due the amount of compression applied to the footage. So most of your information is not correct and slightly misleading.
