    I owe you a million thank yous. My wife turned on the drier and it made a loud bang and quit. I had no idea what it could be. Your video helped me get it apart to find that the spring had come off of the tensioner. I put the spring back, reassembled the machine and it works great. Thank you so much for your fantastic tutorial!

    Thank you very much for your help. For some reason, my brand new dryer's spring fell off the pulley and caused the belt to slip off. You saved me a call for a service technician.

    Tons of thanks for your video. Help me fix samsung dryer with same problem. Remind to everybody, don't use dryer too long time. My wife just wash and dry three set of bed suit then the pulley was melted.

    Thank you! Fixed dryer. Belt fell off. Fixed roller which went flying off. Don't lose that little plastic triangle! I vacuumed it up while cleaning the bottom, and had to search for it in the dust on my deck. Good times, good times. At least the dryer works again!

    Awesome video. I was able to repair my dryer for less than $40. The longest part of this process was driving to the appliance repair part store across town. I would have ordered it with the link above, but I needed to get the dryer fixed and get laundry done today. Thanks for the diagram, that really helped when I was trying to load the belt blind.

    Thank you very much. You helped me with the disassembly of my parents dryer. They had left a pen in the wash and it worked it’s way into the lower fan not allowing the motor and drum to turn. The pen has been removed and all the excess lint and dust cleaned up. Great video. You saved them and expensive service call!

    If everything looks ok , i changed a sensor that you showed on your leftside with the fuse , and i worked for a while and then again stopped working, do you think is the same sensor?

    My dryer has a motor hum when I start it but nothing turns. If I manually turn the drum, maybe 1/8 turn, the dryer will engage and start working. Does this sound like the pully? It works as long as I give it an assist to start in.

    • @TeckDrivenTeck
      @TeckDrivenTeck  2 года назад

      It could be the pully or the rollers that hold the drum in place, something is making it slip. It's hard to pinpoint exactly without taking it apart

    Help! My dryer stopped spinning again! Two years ago it was my idler pulley, and I replaced it. The pulley and belt are fine. What else can it be? You mentioned a fuse. Could that be it?

    • @TeckDrivenTeck
      @TeckDrivenTeck  3 года назад

      It could be a fuse, it could be a motor, or something ales. It is hard to say without doing little diagnostic.

      This is why I'm here ha! Just replaced the same thing and now it won't turn. The motor turns on but then turns off but won't turn

    • @TeckDrivenTeck
      @TeckDrivenTeck  4 года назад

      Most likely the belt as well, if you take the top cover off youbshould see a belt, of you dont then its the belt. If it is there then possibly another reason

    Why is your dryer in the kitchen?

    • @stevewishardt5603
      @stevewishardt5603 Год назад

      Great video - thanks! But I, too, want to know why your dryer is in the kitchen. Shouldn't that be where the dishwasher goes? 😁

    • @TeckDrivenTeck
      @TeckDrivenTeck  6 месяцев назад +1

      I have a washer, dryer, stove, and dish washer in the kitchen because that was the only place I could fit it and connect it. I live in a rental apartment. I was very limited on what goes where without modifying anything since it's not my place, and I probably would not get permission to do it. This way, at least I got a washer and dryer in my apartment
