I had a neck injury when I was 15 and almost 20 yrs later, I'm finally trying to take responsibility and heal all of the trickle-down effects. I was recently researching the tongue muscle and it's relation to the neck etc and I found Dr. Perry.
I did some breathwork last weekend and realized my diaphragm muscle is quite weak. I cant take a deep breath without raising my shoulders and it never feels deep enough. I know it has to do with the tension in my neck/upper back... long story short, Dr. Perry has yet another video to help me address this chronic discomfort. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Your daily Big 6 routine is wonderful! I was wondering if you could give us a simple daily routine to open up the Fascia in our whole entire body. Maybe 6 or 7 simple maneuvers to open up the fascia. Fascia contains blood vessels, nerve endings and lymph but it's difficult to move those when the fascia is tight all throughout the body.

Okay, you're asking about where the space is created and how it relates to the movement of organs. Are you referring to the space created when lying down horizontally, causing organs to shift downward? Or are you suggesting that the organs and diaphragm, connected by ligaments, allow the diaphragm to move further downward? Let me know if I'm on the right track

    • @stopchasingpain

Hi. I just recently started checking out your vids. I like this shorter vid, although I've already watched a couple of your longer ones... shorter better because you are hampering my house chores and other things as I sit and watch and try out what you're doing (ha ha). The first one I had watched, I tried out for a chronic pain I've had for almost a year... when I tried, yikes it hurt... as you said it might. The next day I thought, what happened, the pain lightened up a bit. I tried more throughout the next day; that night, ouch, increased pain and headache!! I keep doing that movement and the chronic pain is almost gone. Thanks muchly. Now, I'm going to watch this one again!!
