    The difference in sound of the landing on the jumps attests to the increased cushion that the Walker Evans shocks provide. I can ride comfortably with the new shocks even though I am 5 months pregnant. A great investment for our machine. Thanks, Walker Evans for such a great product!

    I got the LE and it came with Fox shox. They're great!

      Put the LE Fox Shocks on my base model. Love them. So much better than the stock pogo sticks. Found a guy that had new take offs. He went straight to Elka Stage 3.

    How are these shocks compared to the Fox shocks that come on the LE model?

    The jump was the most noticable difference between the two types. Other than that I really couldn't tell a significant difference.

    Love your videos man. You should put a heater in your rig and make a video of it.

    Did the WE shocks add any height to the P1K5?

    I have been watching your videos since I purchased my pioneer and really enjoyed them. I have had my pioneer for two weeks now and took it out for a ride last week and I would say that I enjoyed it, however my wife’s back not so much. What made you decide on The walker evens vs the fox shocks. I really want to improve the bumpy ride for my wife to enjoy riding more. Your input would be appreciated. Thanks for the videos.

      I was not impressed at all with the factory fox shocks on the P1k. They only had three adjustment levels and I didn’t find them as that big of an improvement over the base model shocks. I had the Walkers on the P5 and couldn’t believe how much better it rode with them so getting Walkers for the 1000 was a no brainer.
      Plus with my discount code AMR15 you can get Walkers for 15% off!

      AppalachianMountainRiders Ok, so you actually got to try both the fox and walkers. I am guessing your P1K already came with those shocks ? Ok with that said I am leaning more towards the Evans. How come you sold your P1K and got that Yamaha ? Just curious.

      It’s the Honda genuine soft top I modified a bit. I shortened the support rods to take out the unsightly hump in the middle...lol.

      Thanks, getting a 700 or 1000 next month. Any suggestions?

    • @AppalachianMountainRiders
      @AppalachianMountainRiders  6 лет назад

      The only reason to pick a 700 over the 1000 is it’s 60” width. If that is no concern I would go 1000 for sure.

    We’re the stock shocks from the deluxe model or the base model ?

    • @AppalachianMountainRiders

      Base model. Not the fox shocks that the deluxe and limited models get.

      Base and deluxe come with the same shocks. Only the LE gets the Fox shocks.

    Hi,
    I have a RZR 900 trail. Which WE shocks did you use on your Pioneer or 570? They have a mono trail or ??

    • @AppalachianMountainRiders
      @AppalachianMountainRiders  5 лет назад

      They offer both mono tube and piggyback shocks for the 900 trail. If you’re not the kind of rider who pushes there machine 110% 100% of the time the monotube would be a substantial upgrade in comfort and are the cheaper option. If you do like to push your machine then the piggy back are the way to go. The larger nitrogen capacity you get with the piggyback will mean the shock will stay cooler and maintain performance longer over constant compressions cycles when you’re really ripping down the trail.

    Can you review your Blackwaters? I’m considering 27/9/12 27/11/12 Blackwater Evos.

    • @AppalachianMountainRiders
      @AppalachianMountainRiders  5 лет назад

      sjc3081 I love the blackwaters! Great on everything except blacktop but they are not made for that anyway...lol. My only complaint is you could feel the lugs a really slow speed but they smoothed out Nicky around 7mph. I’m about to throw some 32” black waters on my Pioneer 500 for my build so I’ll do a review of them for ya when it’s done.
