While I'm not taking my CZ P-01 to the level yours is, I absolutely understand your enthusiasm. The CZ P-01 has the best ergonomics I've come across in 30 years of shooting, and it's entirely reliable with any ammo. I wasn't entirely pleased with it's trigger action, so I installed the Cajun Gun Works Pro Carry kit. Then added Tru-Glo TFX sights. This took a good concealed carry weapon to about the best CCW I can even imagine. How good? I can repeatedly ring a 10" steel target, at 70 yards through it's OEM 3.7" factory barrel.
Cajun has done a bunch of CZ’s for me. My P01 is still my favorite carry weapon. The firearm feels so good in your hands that everyone who doesn’t know about CZ and I let them hold it are always amazed. They did an 85 B for me that I won’t say what the trigger pull is but it’s a great bullseye firearm. My wife loves to shoot the stainless 75 B from them. I even put the brass grips on to pimp it out just a bit. My favorite firearm is my SP01 that Cajun did as it is such a joy to shoot and is so easy to be right on bullseye. Thanks for showing
My P01 Omega is my favorite carry pistol. No malfunctions yet. You should probably practice your decocking before reholstering more lol its there to protect you. Solid drills. I like the 24 dot paper, thats a good target for cadence. The steel guide rods have been causing excessive wear in the aluminum frames however. You may want to reconsider for an aluminum one or go back to plastic. The recoil and pressure of the slide cause it to dig into the well and start to wear out where it seats in the rear of the frame
I appreciate the input on the steel guide rod versus the aluminum and plastic. Bastille guide rod was one of the first things I was going to do to my new P01 a gun I've always wanted to own but since I had a 9 mm carry gun already I couldn't justify it. Glad I took the plung
When I think of CZ it's the 75 series. Sure the P10 series is a good gun but the 75 series is the cats ass. I shot an SP-01 tactical that had the cajun pro package I believe. The trigger was unreal in SA and the DA wasn't that heavy at all. Maybe 8-9lbs. SO smooth. I'm still wanting a P-01 with the Cajun pro package for my edc. Throw on some Dawson night sights, thin g-10 grips,.
Glad to see a new video from you guys. I have a holster from you that I was unsure about getting, as I had a Glock 17 MOS that I had a leather holster for that wasn't working out. Long story short, I asked you guys for assistance in finding the right kydex holster and I love the model you sent me. It has become my favorite all time carry holster. I just wanted to say thanks very much. I like the looks of the Cajun Gun Works model CZ you are highlighting here. Have fun and stay safe.
My first CZ75 hits the FFL tomorrow. A CZ P01 Omega. My wife doesn't know it yet, but she is about to reallly hate this thing. Because I plan on going full MTV "Pimp My CZ" with it. I mean, if I could figure out how to fit tropical fish in clear grips and keep them alive, I would do it. She will not be approving of the money I plan on spending.
Just got my CZ P-01 Omega today. I'm thinking hard about this set up as well. Luckily I no longer have a wife, so I don't have to have the committee of one approve spending the extra cash. My new girlfriend likes to shoot, so she very well may approve, but I'm not going to tell her. I don't want to press my luck. ;-)
So you can co witness with the SRO? Most guns will lose the rear sight with an SRO due to how far forward and close to ejection port an SRO sits if you keep the rear sight.

not a fan of P01 suppressor hosts. If you mod them with aftermarket parts....they like to burst fire on occasion from the blow back. Yes ATF, we are a SOT....if you're reading this
Looks amazing. Well done by CGW! The one thing I woud maybe change is the front sight. I wonder if radiuising it off on the front upper edge would smooth out that blocky look of the front sight.
I like the 507k on smaller guns with limited effective range. A p01 is a sniper compared to, lets say, a P365XL. I'd rather not limit my FOV with a 507k on a gun that has good effective range as a pistol
@@ANRDesignLLC awesome, thanks for the answer. Would the same apply to putting a 507k on a full size SP-01? I have a Shadow I was wanting to mill for a 507k based on the slim fit.
@ANR Design LLC : how much did that build run you in milling costs? That piece truly looks like a work of art - CZ should be proud. You ramped up not only aesthetics, but functionality, simultaneously, to god tier levels. I’m very interested in doing something in the same vein - any information regarding ‘how’ or ‘who’ would be much appreciated.
That is a NICE gun! Crown & serrations are very nice!I am just getting started on the CZ trail. Thinking about the PCR with some bogies ,steel guide rod & upgraded pin on slide in front of the hammer that I’ve heard has a tendency to get bent or damaged (?? Your familiar with that bent roll pin issue on these guns??)so 3 little changes to start with for for my 1st CZ.doubt it will end there. Doing my homework & figuring it out. Thx. Great video.
Is that neomag magazine holder the medium? I love my P-01 I have had it cajunized, changed guide rod, cerakoted, lok grips, trijicon sights, after seeing this I think I will send it to CGW for optic. Great video.
ANR Design LLC do you have to request the charcoal DLC and this new looking coating on the in tire frame of the gun? The finish of the entire pistol (from and slide looks different than stock). Which are all the options I need to request to get the same pistol but with an RMR cut?
Not even a fair comparison. Cajun had optics. Give the non-cajun the optics and the accuracy would be superior. If they both had irons, yeah cajun would win
@ANRDesignLLC so the SRO with RMR plate threw off the slide reciprocation? at first glance, my thought was the SRO with plate was a quite a bit over bore and wondered about the weight of the setup.

not anymore. This is a great optic with great FOV.

Very nice piece 👌🏽👍🏽
did they install the rmr plate or did you? Only asking as i didnt see that plate as an option
they did, but this was long ago. I recommend direct mounting now

1911 plate, rear sight built in
