Order this device for a Freelander 2 08. I just have 1 question. My current key fob works in all cases (driving etc) except for key fob remote locking/unlocking, as I think the board may have been damaged. Would this device allow me to program a new key fob to enable us to lock/unlock and full functionality? Thank you

Yes. Your existing fob is only required to enable the immobilizer and should be programmed as the first key. It doesn't matter that the remote doesn't work.
