Fixing, detailing, improving a low KM Mazda3 Maxx Sport (BK series, 2005) for grandson. One appeared to require a new battery. I disassembled the remote to access the battery and as it was face down, thought I better take it out and check it definitely was a CR1620. I probably contributed to the issue, but not putting the low voltage battery back in and ventured out to get a replacement. A nice bright red LED when the buttons are pushed, but that was all she wrote. Ignition wise, it would start the car, so this was a remote connection/sync loss. This short and precise video tutorial saved the day. Many thanks. A cheap sheet has been written up (including observations of the warning beeping for this car) and placed with the owner's manual.

holly hell it worked.. for better of ½ a year my remote only semi worked and dont work lol.. i thoat it was broak or battery ran dry.. so i change batteri but that made it even more wanky.. so thoat it was broake.. so used normal key hole to open lol.. stumpel on this will looking up how too change factory radio with a 2din frame.. and now it works again lol.. i feelt soo stupid open closing door and such but lol .. i will newere laff at ppl ther turn watter on and off x times lol

Great video Question? When I finish the open door part of the procedure - my locks cycle I think 3 times - is this telling me of a fault with the actual car. The keys after completing the procedure do not remotely lock or unlock the car still. 2011 Mazda 3. No boot release on my key fobs.

Iv had to repalce my central locking conteol module under the seat thanks to flood damage, with a second hand unit. Now the car doesnt recognise the keys. Will this system allow me to code them to the new control module? Rhabks.

Nice. Thanks for making video. I have couple requests for you. I have 2014 Mazda CX9 and wanted 1) to get all doors unlocked when I turn off ignition so i can access back seat and truck for unloading. 2) When unlocking from keyfob, I want all doors to unlock by pressing unlock first time, not defaulted twice. Would you mind finding programming instructions for me please?

Ideally you'd be using some softer plastic panel removal tools but to be fair, this was one of my scrapper P38's and I wasn't too concerned about marking the panel.

Both of my remotes cant be programmed even i enter programming mode. Both worked until i had to change batteries in them. Both sending waves on 433 Mhz so they are operating just refuse to be programmed in programming mode. What could be cause of this?
