In this video we are programming an RS version of the MK3 Focus but this programmer will work on all 2015-2017 Focus MK3 models that use prox keys.
Hey man, is this the only way to get the car to recognize the key? I have the original key fob but the battery was getting low. I switched the battery out for a new one inside the key fob and now my car is telling me it does not detect the key…so frustrating. That’s what I get for buying a ford 🤦♂️

I'm looking into purchasing a 16 focus that's been sitting awhile so dead battery no keys would this reprogram a new used key or they gotta be blank if so how much and where do I buy it from please ,or do you offer call out and program the once
You will need brand new, unprogrammed fobs. You can buy them from all decent retailers of blank fobs.
Do you need to get the blade cut and with that tool work on a,Ford focus mk3 diesel TITANIUM x 😊
Blades need to be cut so they can turn in the lock. Yes it will work on all Focus' of the correct year.

No, this works fine with brand new compatible aftermarket keys.
My mums Ford Focus 2016 16 plate stline same colour and has a sdcard slot 2 12v sockets and 2 usb slots but why is your Focus rs missing the sd card slot
Thats a vehicle supplied by a local trader. You would need to ask Ford about their individual vehicle specs :)
I had to put the key in the centre console for just changing the battery. But it won’t lock or open the car from the outside. Only the old battery can do it, but it’s almost a dead battery.

Would this work on a mondeo as I'm sure Mondeo is built on focus platform?
Unfortunately not. We are awaiting a Mondeo in the yard to develop the correct programmer for it.
Hi. When adding the second key ,MY KEY feature will be disabled and i can go into the settings and enable the traction control and so many more settings that currently cannot access it because MY KEY is enabled ?
What you can do in that scenario is use the delete key feature of the programmer. Then add both keys back in and the first key added will become the master key.
@@FobFix the guy that worked for me could not delete the keys but he could add a 3rd key and now the new key is the master key. So now MY KEY shows 2 admin keys and 1 normal. With my old key cannot go into MY KEY settings but with the new key i can. I am happy like this.
@@lucianbrighi Switch 3 up on our devices is delete key mode. It sorts the MY KEY issues out really quick.
How many smart keys are allowed to have on Ford?
As far as we know, earlier fords can have a maximum of 5, later models 8

So let’s say u don’t have the key but ur in the car and the alarms not going off are u able to program a key whith no key at all
If you gained access to the car when it was in a locked state, the alarm will be active even if it isnt sounding.

Does anyone know about the key to 2016 focus SE key without the smark key ? Mine is different has three buttons for door lock , door unlock and trunk release . I'm now locked out of my car and waitiong for roadside assistance to show up . I know there are different keys made some more basic than others . the more features more expensive . What kind of low basic less expensive key will unlock doors ?

Realistically, without access to the vehicle with reliable diagnostic tools, that is not an answer that can be given.
Will a new key be able to disable my function
Yes. Our tool will allow you to delete all your current keys and once you add them back in, the first key to be reprogrammed will become the master key.

No but our Fiesta versions do though !

Am i able program the blank key without the original key in the car?
Yes, as long as the alarm is not sounding (opening the car in an AKL situation) you can program a new key without the old one being present.

@@FobFix so if the alarm is not going off it will program? What if the car is locked and my keys are lost I get a locksmith in without the alarm going off and it will program?
