    When you sell to a pawn shop they have to RESELL it. So they have to make a profit.
    So if it's worth $700 then they're not going to pay you $700.
    You want the full price go sell it online.

    • @easytherepilgrim2339

    • @earlspencer7863
      @earlspencer7863 3 года назад +6

      It's a scripted show. They have to make believe they're giving people a decent price. Real pawn shop would give you ten bucks if you're lucky.

      @@TheTeufelhunden68 You blew the definition of intrinsic value right out the door. Degree in econ here, look it up. The value of life has been estimated many times, hence actuaries and payouts for life insurance, risks based on damages (either medical or car accidents or anything else).

    • @kinshayshafra6842
      @kinshayshafra6842 6 лет назад +26

      For real. Parents/parent didn't know this would be money in the future. Best way would have been to buy 2 of each. But once again. Parents buy toys to basically keep your ass busy and happy lol. Keep Heman in the pack 1987 til 2018? Or play with it from 1987 to 1988?

    • @ariaichem6258
      @ariaichem6258 5 лет назад +4

      Oh the money we had no idea we could of made. With golden age of toys in the 80s and the countless collectors in todays market...If you had some kind of future vision, spent lets say 5G and kept them flawless, you could retire on that 5G investment if you bought the right ones

    • @nickstevens8596

    • @michaelhuebner6843
      @michaelhuebner6843 5 лет назад +5

      The reason that unopened popular 80s toys are worth any money is because they are scarce. If more people bought these toys and never opened them then they would be worth much less because more supply would be available. Prices exist because scarcity exists and all prices are derived from supply versus demand.

    I'm. In BLACKPOOL, UK and there's a store that sells all kinds of vintage toy merchandise. Every now and again, he gets "original" He-Man products and sells them as cheap as £25.00. Think what you want. I guess in America, they go crazy over everything.

    I would at least argue that the packages condition affects the lower offering price; seller’s need to be cognizant of such things.
