@2:57- since when are brass & white gold "rare earth metals"?
Love it. 50K was absolutely lowballing. And 500K was the top price. Some day he will sell both for 250K together, gl man!
Didn't they say these were made in 2018 ? They could make a bunch more tomorrow.
Never.
@@jaymike3302 They could, but the packaging wouldn't say 1 of 1.
As a lego collector and seller this stuff doesnt cost 500k, not even 10k , he just put a price he wanted , and it doesnt work that way
This guy just went on the show to flex. He had no intention of selling. lol
Awesome pieces. Got a new subscriber. Was fun to watch. Great video
Why not just go to Auction rather than a pawn shop? Other than to get a free estimation?. 😅
I would have said those were worth in the millions honestly. Being the rare metal, the value of rare lego, and a Star Wars item adds up the price very quickly. All three were low balling that price! Not saying I would pay even over $500 for a single minifigure, but that's cause I don't have the money. But just saying!
Hard to find the guy who wants to put that much money into those
Yeah no kidding. Everyone in the comments is insane
Id rather spend a lot of money on like an army with vehicles than a single fig in a box lol
Bronze isn't a rare metal, nor is white gold. White Gold, while valuable, would not equate this to being worth $250,000 by any stretch of insanity.
@@tigermike74 has nothing to do with the material. Has everything to do with being one of a kind. That's like saying the Mona Lisa isn't worth nearly as much because of the type of paint
Wow I wish I could find something stupid to make a lot of money on.
That guy is so delusional to even think for a second they're worth that kind of $. Even the expert went high. He should've taken the $50,000 & ran.
A certain vatriation of the Spider-Man minifig (plastic) sells for almost 10k, the 14k C3-PO has an asking price of around 200k. Don’t think he’s that delusional
You obviously haven't seen the lego market before.
Any true seller/collector isn't seriously going to take those to an LV pawn shop.
Lmao it would break your heart to part with Lego you think is worth 250k? Telling me would rather have a Lego figure over a house ? What a 🤡
He wasn't even planning on selling in the first place, probably just wanted to show off
@Maul_360 just jealous you don’t have this kind of money to spend on toys…you the real 🤡
@@noahleonard7772 even though if he had that kind of money i don't think he will spend 500k on two bronze Legos... if they are silver or gold versions then maybe but.. there are very less star wars collectors who would spend 500k though.. not people with money but people with interest or collectors.. elon musk bill gates have a lot but they would never buy Legos like those.. just saying
Did you watch the video? One of them was White gold. Dont know why youd think musk would consider himself above making an investments in something like this either.
I mean there are lots of items like that thousands for something you can hold in your hand
Watching this show is entertaining. It's either the seller looking to make bank and retire in the bahamas only to find out they've got to keep working another decade... or Pawn Stars being like, "I see this is worth $100,000. Tell you what, I'll buy this from you for 100 bucks cash and sell it later for massive profit, sound good?"
you don't walk into a pawn shop to sell this type of collectable
Breaks boxes while walking out the door and someone runs over it 😅 I get he wanted his price but in today's age/economy I would have taken the cash now as money will be virtually useless in less than 20 years.
If I had $ 500,000 I would spend it on a nice home with some land. I can live a home, I cant live inside the figures. This reminded me when they sold the original comic book page of the first appearance the alien symbiote from the Secret Wars comic book. My dad even thought the price was too much. But, when you have so much money, dropping this kind of money means nothing. At the end of the day, it's your money, spend it on what you want.
You mind if I take a look ?
No problem, absolutely...
Cracks open the packaging
