Wow! They still sound the same. Great performance. I love the Vanilla Fudge. Used to listen to them back in the sixties. Hearing them again makes me feel like I did back in the sixties. I grew up with bands like Vanilla Fudge, the Beatles, the Electric Prunes and Canned Heat. Wish I was back in the sixties once again.
True song stylists. They took other artists songs and totally made them into something completely different. Not easy to do. And YES, they should be in the R&R HOF!
What an off the wall tune to cover. Grossly underrated / overlooked band in this era. Jefferson Airplane, completely different style of band, and Paul Revere and the Raiders also overlooked by most of the industry and public except for the enlightened 😅. We were looked at like dangerous and somewhat criminal when people found out you listened to these band . 🤣🤣 The damned 60’s

Sonny and Cher, There is a old Vanilla Fudge album where they did this too. My comment was on recreating the original Vanilla Fudge album that was pulled from you tube for some reason
I saw them all the time at the ACTION HOUSE in Island Park…then Cactus… my friends sister dated Carmine…. The Illusion Vagrants Good times 17-19 Southern Comfort pontiac firebird and a few ludes
If the Fudge had only concentrated on some original tunes maybe they’d get the respect they deserve. The bands and musicians they influenced are in the HoF but I doubt they ever make it.

Tremendous band, tremendous musicians, great performance... The direction and editing of this video is fucking criminal. How about just letting us watch the band work? All this jump cutting/editing DOES NOT ADD EXCITEMENT. It just adds annoyance. I know it's 12 years ago, but the same shit goes on all the time. A real good idea would be to get a video director who is actually a musician and understands what's going on and what fans of bands really want to see.
@@thereyouhaveit Excuse me, dipshit-- did you note I was complimenting the band? Are you in a relationship with the video director? If you are the video director, learn your fucking craft. The video generally sucks and takes away from the musicians' great performance.
I got introduced to Vanilla Fudge in 1967, I was 20 years old. Still one of my favorite bands at 77.
Even Jon Lord was very inspired of them.He said one time that they gave him his musical way.
I love the part at 2:13. these guys did such incredible ARRANGEMENTS of the songs like this one. Thanks Mark, Carmine, Vinnie and Pete.
Saw them in 67 when I was a kid. As a musician, I knew they were special. Too bad the rest of the rock world missed out.
I saw them in 67 at the Browns Hotel in the Catskills........where did you see them???

Vanilla Fudge, Cool assband. My cousin introduced me to them! Rip Brian you are missed and loved❤🙏🕊
Simply fucking amazing. The most criminally underrated band of all time.
Potty mouth. No class at all.
a brilliant legendary band with legendary Musicians. this band was my gateto psychedelic rock when I was a teen.
ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVES.
Loved them from the 60's

They did many covers but they did them in their own unique style
Wow Vanilla Fudge live! I have never seen or heard this song done better even though the RUclips listing goes on forever almost! Thanks a lot!
Such an awesome group. They really took it to the heights.
This drummer is amazing!!!!!
Carmine Appice
He's drummed for Jeff Beck, Ritchie Blackmore & countless sessions. Yep, he's OK!

Merci les amis vous êtes restés excellents ! Bravo pour l'ensemble de votre œuvre
Favolosi questa si che era musica, adesso solo rumore , grazie per aver vissuto quegli anni
Perfect!
Mark is the Commander of all B3 rockers. You put Vinnie on the same stage and Carmen next to him you got 3 of the most powerful rockers on the planet.
Nic Hartley says it all ..... VF was the best kept secret of the 60's decade.
Wasn't a secret to us...😂 I was in my high school rock band when they released their album first album 😮😊
Great job recreating this classic
Beautiful

I colpi di cassa che dà Carmine Appice forse sono unici al mondo!
Are they playin' the Beale Sreet B.B. King theater here?
Rock on!
hold on to your headband with this one!
Read Mark’s book. It’s all in there. Great read.

Where is Tim Bogart - I miss him!.
Pete Bremy is a great guy and does a great job
R.I.P. Tim Bogert passed early last year in 2021
A good song😃
yeah
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
more talent in that band alone than all the pickers in nashville and austin...
Qualcuno li riconosce? e/o riconosce la canzone???
Certamente, si!
... conosco anche il dopo vanilla....
Lorella Beatrice ed il tastierista!
cool
it reminds me of song April by Deep Purple. thanks for Tarantinos “once upon a time”…
I saw them all the time at the ACTION HOUSE in Island Park…then Cactus… my friends sister dated Carmine….
The Illusion Vagrants Good times 17-19 Southern Comfort pontiac firebird and a few ludes
Ma non sono invecchiati per niente!!!!! God bless Vanilla Fudge!
Me emociona cuando la escuche en kill bill de Tarantino solo que otra versión claro, la batería es un asesino bang bang.

The vocals....so melodramatic.......so Vanila Fudge. This band epitomized the term self-indulgent (not you Carlos Santana)
Grande psichedelia
who does the original?
The original song is from Nancy sinatra
Originally, it was Cher and Sonny Bono

If you just want to watch the band work, go see them live. By the way, if you want to complain about the video and directing
You should complain to Carmine

This should have been the musical credits for Kill Bill and not the wimpy Nancy Sinatra version
This was used in Zodiac (2007), though 😉
Carlos Santana on bass!
