South Central Texas with the combined metros of San Antonio and Austin is just too large for the MLB to ignore. If California can have five MLB teams, Texas can surely have three...
Vancouver won’t work … we’re they going to play ? BC place ? , Montreal yes ( they will a new stadium ) … Florida can’t support there 2 teams already so no
MLB wants to add a west coast team, which seems to give the edge to Portland. Nashville probably gets the other one. But yes, Vancouver deserves a team. It has the market, the space, and the fanbase.
I put money down to reserve season tickets many years ago for the potential Orlando team. St. Pete won. I am ready to put money down for an Orlando team. Thanks goodness they are looking at 35 acre facility out by Sea World instead of a depressed and unsafe inner city site. Rays are my team so I would love to see them move here. Go Dreamers!
No Florida city should be considered for expansion because it's a state full of transplants that won't care as much about the local teams. There are plenty of cities that would work for expansion, and frankly the league could go to 36 if they really wanted to. Salt Lake City I think could be very much like what Denver was in 1993, Montreal and Vancouver makes sense, Nashville makes a lot of sense, Mexico City, San Antonio, and even San Juan. If the funding was, there would all be great markets
Canada needs another team. Vancouver or Montreal? Both are great baseball cities. Salt Lake City, New Orleans, Portland? The Rays can relocate to Orlando.
If Montreal Baseball Group and Music City Baseball award 2 franchises to Montreal and Nashville for the 2026 MLB a season, this is what a realignment will look like: American League East Baltimore Orioles Boston Red Sox New York Yankees Toronto Blue Jays American League North Chicago White Sox Cleveland Guardians Detroit Tigers Minnesota Twins American League South Houston Astros Kansas City Royals Tampa Bay Rays Texas Rangers American League West Colorado Rockies Las Vegas Athletics Los Angeles Angels Seattle Mariners National League East Montreal Expos New York Mets Philadelphia Phillies Washington Nationals National League North Chicago Cubs Cincinnati Reds Milwaukee Brewers Pittsburgh Pirates National League South Atlanta Braves Miami Marlins Nashville Stars St. Louis Cardinals National League West Arizona Diamondbacks Los Angeles Dodgers San Diego Padres San Francisco Giants
MLB does not need to expand. They should contract, or move one of the Florida teams out and relocate them. San Antonio might be a consideration. If you put a team in the Orlando area, I would put it nearby The Villages retirement community...
South Central Texas is just too large for MLB to ignore. The combined metros of San Antonio and Austin, around 100 miles apart, is approaching SIX million with two nearby media markets, which may merge into one... Furthermore both metros are growing fast... San Antonio will be building a new ballpark downtown on the Riverwalk with two potential sites for at least AAA, but could easily be upgraded for the MLB... San Antonio does not desire to lose a MLB to Austin as they did with the MLS... Of note, San Antonio has a temporary venue in place with the Alamodome as well...
Still not enough... You want less teams, make all the way to 24, or even better, 16... But maybe 24 is better, since there are EXACTLY 24 teams that have won World Series... 🤔🤔🤔
I really hope we get a team! TN has all sports and we're all very supportive of our teams.
Nashville Stars and Montreal Expos return please 🙏🙏🙏
Expos Toujours!
They are not putting another team in Florida. I vote for Vancouver and San Antonio

@@ronclark9724another thing that’s large is those San Antonio women.
TB has the best record and still can’t get 10k fans a night

nasville, portland, SLC, orlando, charlotte and montreal
Nashville, Portland, Montreal... Two of those three.
MLB wants to add a west coast team, which seems to give the edge to Portland. Nashville probably gets the other one.
But yes, Vancouver deserves a team. It has the market, the space, and the fanbase.
I wouldn't put anything in Portland.
SLC Nashville
Nashville all the way !!!
I vote for any expansion city that won’t play their home games in a dreaded dome.
So you have a place that doesn't rain and is under 85 degrees in July?
I agree...baseball is terrible in a dome. Unless it's retractable like MIL or ARZ.
Nashville & SLC or Portland

Based upon the average attendance in Miami I disagree that a new ballpark in either Tampa or Saint Pete would save the Rays.
Virginia should get a expansion team
Miami and Tampa currently draw more mosquitoes than people, and that’s with winning ball clubs.
Canada needs another team. Vancouver or Montreal? Both are great baseball cities. Salt Lake City, New Orleans, Portland?
The Rays can relocate to Orlando.
Yes, bring back the Expos!!
Move Tampa to Orlando and then you move Miami to Nashville.. there you go.
Marlins are locked into their stadium for a long time. They aren't leaving.
Only out of state people say this bs the cheap ownership killed the Marlins fanbase
Pat Rosenthal let me get this straight the team is called the Tampa Bay Rays there in St Pete not in the city of Tampa Bay
Would there be 2 new teams? Or 4?
2 expansion teams to bring the league size to 32

Rays are staying in TB. for the love of god just leave them alone lol

There should never be another sports team in Florida. Period.
portland
hear me out on this.... Oakland
City gonna build a stadium?
Hear me out… dead last in attendance.
Nashville and Salt Lake. Orlando is out because of Tampa.
Royals need to move to Montreal. Angels to Salt Lake City. Rays to Orlando. Brewers to Portland...as the Pilots.
Portland is a shithole now. No.
Crazy talk.
Does florida support the two teams they already have? For the love of god no more in florida.

Move the Rays to Orlando
Saying San Antonio for years!! Rabid fan base. They would love that team!!!❤
Beautiful city, too!
how about less teams. like get rid of Tampa and Oakland all together, instead of adding and watering down the talent
less games
No one is doing that. Getting rid of teams generates no money.
Still not enough... You want less teams, make all the way to 24, or even better, 16...
