I mean this a new york based food company, where they all get paid pretty well, so you're surrounded by foodies all day, you're going to end up living at these family fun, very old, traditional stores and avoiding the big box places.

Well claire does get to destroy equipment and even buys some pricey stuff that only uses occasionally. It's not like they have her on a leash Also it's the nature of her show. Even with the treatement Molly gets, if she were asked to make something like sunburst, she would loose it.
I don't know what that means but it made me laugh. I was noticing that, too. She only seems to wear the glasses when she is being interviewed. Seems like if she really needed them to see, she would have to wear them while she's cooking. Smh

i was once standing on the corner in manhattan and saw Delaney run through 4 lanes of traffic. Wanted to say hi but that guy moves fast. probably on his way to eat the entire menu at some diner.
The editing on this episode is particularly good. I love all the chefs unique editing styles but Mollie’s is probably my favorite, especially this episode. It’s still has that bon appétit flavor with a bit more polish than normal. It almost feels like a documentary with so much more humor and pizzazz

I love when this series of episodes takes a turn off the script when Molly gets inspired by something or adds to her tasks by trying something out and then doing the next task. Gives us more content too, but it's sweet how...loosely structured these can be. I appreciate that aspect a lot!

He's been a Director for some time now. If you read the articles, Carla talks of how Chris assigned her the Turkey recipe. He was mentioned as the Food Director in the Rose Cocoa article as well. His Instagram profile has been Test Kitchen Director. The hints have been there basically.
Carla(who used to be the Food Director) is not in the Test Kitchen full time anymore, she is now a contributing editor like Claire. So Chris, who was her deputy is now the Food Director.
I feel like Bon Appetit has a group of revolving editors and whoever keeps adding these screen effects and slurping noises and holds zooms on the guest while she laughs is probably the intern.
I was the same - grew up in a super small town. That's what inspired me to learn how to cook my own delicious things til I moved to a bigger city and could eat all the other delicious things!
I did LOL. As in working in kitchens, I have always had nothing but respect for anyone that can toss out a semi-doity joke without making it about himself OR the person listening! ....especially at a time when you least expect it.
