The LHD Pelly was my 3rd Tudor. It’s still one my favorites in my collection. My BB58 Heritage Burgundy “Smiley” sits right next to it in the box. That’s one that I pull for fancier days. 2 great watches and they’ll be keepers for me.
I own the LHD and the Tudor P01 as they are outtstanding in the Tudor Lineup. I love watches in general and especially the watches like my Ploprof 1200m, watches that are not Mainstream.
I agree, I have a LHD & a BB54. The Pelagos is sometimes too big and the 54 is a great smaller alternative. This is the 1st upload I have watched of yours and I enjoyed it. You’ve just got a new subscriber. Thanks Fraser (UK)
I almost sold mine when I picked up another watch out of too many on the dresser guilt. So glad I didn't. I love the Matt black and a brushed under the radar look. You can wear a seriously lux, high spec, nerd machine of watch without anyone knowing it's expensive. Bracelet and bezel are my favorite over either my MarkXX or glide lock equipped Rolex. Between BBs and Pelis, Tudor is really bringing it with divers. And so many great variants.
Love the B roll cutaway. Great editing! I picked up the red bezel black bay a few months ago and love having it as an option to wear depending on how I feel.
I have the standard black Pelly 5 liner. Really love it. The 5 lines are there on purpose; together with the 6 o’clock index they form a snowflake. Besides that; never heard any complaints regarding the five lines on the Deepsea and Seadwellers.
thanks for the honest review . in my honest opinion the lhd is the best in the pelly range .love mine the roulette date wherl ..faux lume and red dial type make it stand out ..and it goes perfectly with my no date sub in my collection
I love my LHD, my third Tudor watch - the roulette date is my favourite part but I also like the numbered caseback, the titanium case and the 9 o'clock crown. Is it "Tudor's most original watch?" - no, not to me - that would be the first Tudor watch I bought, the North Flag. I saw a photo of it in a car magazine (Octane) before it was released and put my name down for one at my local AD, I one of the first two that they acquired when it was released. It looks unlike any BB, as though it was CNC milled from a solid block of steel (it is very comfortable despite the looks), Tudor's first in house movement with the power reserve complication and integrated braclet (it has to have the braclet, not the strap IMO). The other Tudor that I have is a BB though, the panda Chrono - hard to read the time with it though as the hands merge with the dial, the new blue boutique version is nicer but I'm not so keen on the Jubilee braclet.
Hello Watch People‼️ Great content Bruce 💪🏽 100% agreed the Pelagos LHD could be the perfect tool watch, fully brushed you got that sporty look from the grayish color of the Titanium, the cream look on the market an the red lettering make this watch outstanding Bruce Something I don’t understand is why Rolex do this 2 great watches like the Pelagos LHD and the Rolex GMT Sprite or Bruce Banner left hand watches, please don’t get me wrong I have respect for left hand guys, but this 2 watches need to be available for right hand people
I love the standard Pelagos. I wish they would add some of the features of the LHD to it. In particular the roulette date wheel. Also would love a red Pelagos on the dial for the standard. Do you think that Tudor will update the standard Pelagos soon?
I would be interested in that combo too. If I had to guess on whether an update is coming soon, I would guess no. I think they will continue with expanding the Master Chronometer Black Bay line and stick with the focus of smaller watches.
P01 is more Unique in the current catalogue I would have thought. Don't forget the fairly recently deleted Advisor too ; ) So wish I had snagged a Cognac dial Advisor before they went, but I got a Black Bay Steel in time!
Does anyone know where Tudor watches are manufactured? I don't mean assembled as that obviously happens in Switzerland - I mean actual manufacturing of the cases, dials, bracelets and crystals.
I got a pelagaos specifically because it wasn't a BB there are simply too many samey black bays. i got the LHD version as it's quirky . The only BBs id get are the 925 or ceramic
The Black Bay line is really very extensive. Saying that all Tudor is a one trick pony because all their watches are Black Bay derivatives is like saying all Rolex sports are one trick pony because they are all Submariner derivatives. As we all know the GMT, Explorer 2, YM, SD etc all derive from the Submariner design. Want a flashier Sub, you get the GMT derivative, you want a more toolish Sub, you get an Explorer 2 derivative. I think the issue with Tudor was naming all variations of the Black Bay with the same nomenclature. As to why Tudor is so dive heavy, well that’s the historical core of their product line providing military and professional dive watches.
I owned the LHD, cool watch but my OCD just couldn't handle it. I'm expecting Tudor to upgrade the Pelagos 42 range. I really wish they would. I think it's time. It's actually holding me off from buying the plain black 42. P39 was a too dainty and small. They should slim the 42 down, put T-fit instead of the springs in the clasp, and Bob's your uncle.
Would be perfect if it wasn't titanium. Maybe some people like a really light watch but for me I like a bit of weight. A very light watch feels cheap to me.
Some people just don’t get it. It’s pretty much the same as “perpetual oyster ” on Daytona to explorer to datejust. Omg look it’s the one trick pony Rolex. Same thing really
I like the Pelagos but I disagree that it is Tudor's most original design - change the name to Black Bay Pro Plus and I bet 99% of people would not see it as out of place next to other Black Bays.
@@BruceWilliams when I first purchased my bronze the hard click was in the wrong location it was at the 4 o’clock position so it went back under warranty and re positioned
LHD is a really cool offering but for my the Pelagos FXD is the most unique watch in the entire catalog and the one I want next!
Totally agree my FXD gets more wrist time than any other watch I own and it’s the first time I’ve wanted the same watch in another colour
FXD is a cool one. Wish it was available on any other strap option lol
FXD GMT released yesterday
Unique? Just bc no spring bars?
Thank you for pronouncing Pelagos correctly.
The LHD Pelly was my 3rd Tudor. It’s still one my favorites in my collection. My BB58 Heritage Burgundy “Smiley” sits right next to it in the box. That’s one that I pull for fancier days. 2 great watches and they’ll be keepers for me.

Those are the most fun
Ultra spec big dog divers are the most fun hunt, buy, and wear....
LHD owner. I approve this video.
(Awesome close up camera)

Luv my LHD. I also have an Omega PO, Pam112, Seiko ninja tuna n a few coveted G-Shocks. But my favourite piece is definitely the Tudor Pelagos LHD
Solid collection

One of two Tudors I own. The other; the Harrods Special Edition. Both unique in their own right. But the LHD is the ultimate Tudor.
Love the B roll cutaway. Great editing! I picked up the red bezel black bay a few months ago and love having it as an option to wear depending on how I feel.
I own the Pelagos Blue I need the LHD, great video 🙏
I have the LHD and want to add a blue FXD! Need two Pelis for sure : )
The Pelagos is a modern Tudor version of the Rolex Submariner
I absolutely love my LHD.
I have the standard black Pelly 5 liner. Really love it.
The 5 lines are there on purpose; together with the 6 o’clock index they form a snowflake.
Besides that; never heard any complaints regarding the five lines on the Deepsea and Seadwellers.
The Pelagos is an awesome watch. Either in the 42 or 39 model. It represents the modern Tudor design language.

A little sized out of this one but I do like the roulette date wheel. Gives you a little something to look forward to everyday

The North Flag and Pelagos are the most original models with the in-house movement
My worries about buying a Pelagos is ive seen way to many for sale with lume pop out.Does anyone know if this issue was fixed.
Yes it is fixed by Tudor. The new bezels have slightly thinner numbers when you compare to the old bezels.
It’s so hard to choose LHD or FXD for me.. I’ve had both on and off and switched between at an AD and still can’t decide.. 😂
I like the FXD but the pass through strap is my dealbreaker
Its a pity LHD does not come in titanium caseback since I cant really wear Steel case back watches😭😭
P01 is more Unique in the current catalogue I would have thought.

I’m pretty close to going to my A.D. and buying the standard titanium Pelagos. My birthday is coming up, and it might be a birthday present to myself.
Get it. Love mine and will continue to do so until there's a titanium Sea-Dweller (the normal one, not deepsea)
I got a pelagaos specifically because it wasn't a BB there are simply too many samey black bays. i got the LHD version as it's quirky . The only BBs id get are the 925 or ceramic
the deeper bezel click at the 12 o'clock is also on the BB ETA
I owned that one and never noticed it

absolutely love the pelagos, its uniquely tudor and not so much trying to be someone else
Beautiful watch I wish first would make it thinner and a smaller case size.
Need to get one of these to wear on the right wrist!!
The 12 o’clock bezel lock is also on my BB54 and Monochrome…
The pelagos's claps was ahead of it's time.
It was for sure
"Ludicrous" is definitely the only acceptable adjective to describe the amount of dial text.
Agreeeeed👍
i have the blue one grate watch but i hate the thickness
My favourite Tudor!
I’ve put Tudor in the rear view window.
The Pelagos in blue for the win!!!
Would be perfect if it wasn't titanium. Maybe some people like a really light watch but for me I like a bit of weight. A very light watch feels cheap to me.
The pelagos isn’t particularly light imo
It feels pretty much like a steel BB 41. Not heavy but not light
Well Rolex is a one hit wonder too. Everything they make is a variant of the Oyster Perpetual.
Some people just don’t get it. It’s pretty much the same as “perpetual oyster ” on Daytona to explorer to datejust. Omg look it’s the one trick pony Rolex. Same thing really
Tudors are hot 🔥
my guy is funny 🎉
👍👍👍👍

Tudor bronze 43mm has the hard click at 12
I've handled that one many times and didn't notice it
@@BruceWilliams when I first purchased my bronze the hard click was in the wrong location it was at the 4 o’clock position so it went back under warranty and re positioned
No, sorry but the FXD is what you meant to say
Grown gards lekker belangrijk
That text is a killer..
LHD is tremendous.
As is the FXD. I prefer a no date diver, so the FXD for me.
