I have this watch. I've had it for a while and just love it. In my opinion, if one had to do the mythical "one watch collection", this watch would be it. For me the Pelagos is nearly perfect.
I agree, I'm fine with the proportions but if I'm splitting hairs: - I could do without the date but that's just my personal preference. - After owning an FXD I was blown away by the improved viewing angle in water on the FXD due to its face being so close to the crystal. And I dig the bi-directional bezel - Only real grip is even after buying a 1/2 link I can't get the size just right. I don't want to be part way through the adjustment for its smallest fit. I kind of have a predominantly 2 watch collection the Pelagos and a Panerai 682. I just can't get enough of both.
I sold mine, loved it, never called is a Pay-La-Goss... That said, this thing wore better than my Rolex Submariner, if youre on the fence for this one, do it.
It’s my Tudor Smurf. I can’t afford the Rolex Smurf but I enjoy wearing it. I do have two Rolex but I a Tudor fanboy with my Pro,bb41, bbgmt opaline dial, and Smurf. Lol
The thing that let's this piece down IMO is the Titanium. It just looks nasty, and the lack of weight makes it feel nasty too. If this was in Stainless with a satin finish it would be amazing. Yes I know Titanium is a more rugged, scratch resistant alternative, but for me it's not a nice finish for this piece. Sinn do it much better.

Why doesn’t the Submariner have a lumed bezel? Some people say it cheapens the watch; not for me.
Doesn't cheapen the watch any more than a lumed dial does.
