I did this myself just two weeks ago to my 2006 997 911S. Removed the exhaust myself then had the welding completed at my local Porsche specialists shop and then reinstalled at home. Total cost for the welding shop time was $280.00 and it sounds great!

chris P hello mate, the cost was about £250 if I remember rightly, it doesn’t effect emissions at all, the sound difference was so good.
