I can't stand costumed people intruding on everything and then waving a flag in front of a horse. Stupid people. This event is too much for the horses and with that announcer too, yelling and all of the thumping sounds and a ton of people moving around. Maybe the horses should have been kept inside during this.

Sad that whoever organises these events along with the awful religious marches always do these in front of the Horse Guards. I am sure they do it out of spite!!!! I would love to know who these idiots are? The whole of London and they do it right there!😡😡
I've never seen a religious march along Whitehall. But Horseguards is only a few hundred yards from Downing Street and there is no other way for protest marches to go. As fa as the Marathon is concerned, the route deliberately takes in many tourist attractions and significant areas as do most other city marathons worldwide. What is unnecessary I'd for the commentary to be so close to Horseguards.

@rosieandjim2293 . Those red, white and black flags at marches recently are actually the Palestinian flag not belonging to any religious group. The marches are to try to influence the government to support a cease fire in Gaza.
