they cannot laugh because otherwise they will lose respect and posture, and dignity, then nobody will respect them and these people will make fun of the guards thinking they will laugh
The guards train themselves to not laugh in the public. What their Majors and Sergeants do is crack jokes and say funny shit to them in training sessions as they're lined up- if they break, they get push-ups. It's just standard. For doing it on-duty once or twice, you won't get your ass handed to you. They're just practicing for the training sessions.
Fun fact for Tourists: Majority of the members of the British Armed Forces, whom perform ceremonial guard duties, such as guard regiments, they are also in fact front line soldiers.

The black guy tripped, fell over and ran for his life, while everyone else clapped. It WAS on youtube but was removed a few months ago "because it violates the terms of youtube"
@@AzguardMike depends on the circumstances whether those weapons are loaded. Usually depends on the military's protocol and the ceremonial occasion in which the military are used for guard detail. Most incidents, the soldiers will use their hands or perform an enguard with their bayonets to challenge the person's involved. If the scenario is under the circumstances where the soldiers feel they have to prime the weapon system, it usually will usually be with a attachment of armed Police Officers from the SO14 Royal Protection Group within the Metropolitan Police. However, simple verbal abuse towards the guards and Her Majesty, even threatening language, does not provide the appropriate necessity for the soldier to prime the weapon system. In all seriousness though do not try to make the queen’s guard laugh. Humans are not prefect and you could cost someone their hard earned job.
they cannot laugh because otherwise they will lose respect and posture, and dignity, then nobody will respect them and these people will make fun of the guards thinking they will laugh
@@user-us3pr6oh9g also they'll get arreste- WAIT MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!!!!!!
If you lost your job because you laughed like a normal human then probably gey a different job

People have no respect, they are not props to take fotos or mess with, thats not Disney land its soldiers doing their duty, but i dont agree that just tourists do this plenty of british folk do the same or worst, all nations have plenty of shamefull people its just a fact, a sad one
and they will load a round and take aim. I've seen them do it when a racist black guy showed utter disrespect to the Queen to the guards face. Threatened to knock the guard "spark out" and "bang the old bat upstairs" Guard cocked the riffle and took aim and started yelling. The black guy tripped, fell over and ran for his life, while everyone else clapped. It WAS on youtube but was removed a few months ago "because it violates the terms of youtube"
@@AzguardMike youtube dashed my hopes and dreams before i even had them.
Reminds me of the unknown soldier tomb guards. And I do remember how strict their selection was.
Mind if I ask when you saw this? Would be interested in knowing that happened the the individuals involved.
