Many years ago when I was in my 20’s, I used to meet celebrities all the time since I worked in a very high end restaurant in the Midwest. It wasn’t unusual to have well known people come in a few times per month. I’ve met everyone from Andy Warhol to Liza Minnelli. One afternoon in the summer a table of 4 came in. 2 of the people were Kenny Loggins and his wife. They stayed about an hour and a half. They were my last table. I was ready to go and noticed they were across the street window shopping. As I approached them his wife told me how much they enjoyed their lunch, she asked my name again and said the next time they were in town they’d come back and ask for me. It was very sweet of them. Just then, 2 young teens came skate boarding up. They stopped when they saw Kenny. They looked at him, did a double take, then looked at each other and at the same time both said “nahhhhh” and skate boarded away. Kenny his wife and I looked at each other and immediately started cracking up. He said “no autographs for them”. We laughed again and said goodbye.
A year later a beautiful woman in sunglasses walked in with a friend. I picked up menus to seat them. She asked “are you John?”. I said yes, then she said “”I’m Kenny Loggins wife. I told you I’d come back to see you”. I was very flattered, when they were leaving after lunch, I said I hoped I’d see her again sometime.
I wouldn’t know him from Adam. Just googled. Who is he?. Don’t know his name either. It’s funny how when one person thinks someone is famous to another they are just another person. Just shows that there are levels of “famous”. Now if I met Keanu, Enrique, David Beckham, I’d recognise them and call them famous.

I told her i will chase her all the way down the strip to get one. We laughed, got to the cash register, i payed for hers. We walked almost all the way back towards the strat just talking and laughing. Someone came up to her asking for a picture and signature...😮

My family and I went to India to see the Taj Majal, it was so beautiful that I felt i need to take a good picture. When I finally searched for a good spot I noticed the people staring at me, it felt creepy but then I realized after a few moments they were not really looking at me but behind me. I turned around and i saw 2 beautiful people grinning at me, Michael Douglas and his wife Catherine Zeta - Jones. My mouth dropped, too stunned to take pictures they were too amused it was already too late when I thought about asking for a photo they were already walking away.
