Yes I too had this metallic taste from nowhere fir 2 or 3 weeks. First it was bitter because I an getting acid reflux and dyspepsia. But my dentist advised me to take multivitamin. It helped me.

Recenlty i have been getting this weired taste on my tongue i cant quite put my finger on the cause but i will try the zinc and start back taking my stomach medication to see if it helps if not then i guess i will have ro visit my doctor

Hi This could be due to a stressed liver (very common in the menopause!) or dehydration but if it continues best just to check with your doctor to rule out any other health issues such as bleeding gums, diabetes or adrenal disorders. Best Wishes Eileen
Have been getting dry mouth and salty taste I have been scared. I do have reflux and mucus in throat annoying. Went to doctor to check blood pressure but it is reflux that I feel in chest. I get scared and then my anxiety gets worse and the symptoms increase. I don’t like this at all just want to cry I just want to feel normal again before menopause. I’m sorry just had to get this out feeling frustrated.

A salty taste can sometimes indicate bleeding gums, (which is quite common in the menopause) so, again, that needs the dentist. A. Vogel UK. Hallo Eileen I did get my dentist to check that with dry mouth but that seem fine. I have reflux which I have had most of my life. But stress and menopause has made it worse I might have to go on something to help with the reflux as it can cause the dry mouth and salty yuk taste. At the moment I’m trying to change the way I eat and drink more water and try not to stress which is hard. Apparently the low hormones in menopause can cause dry mouth too. So with menopause, reflux issues it is a horrible ride. Thank you for replying.
Do you think that sex has a negative effect on hormone levels in menapause ? I feel like my hot flashes and anxiety get worse for days following intercourse.😩
