I have been a trooper thinking this is a natural process (I've never taken the pill and avoid even paracetamol), so am stupidly thinking it will pass, and to harden up. But it is driving me crazy. I've had all the symptoms (my periods were always standard, on time and I didn't get cramps or heavy bleeding...). I did however suffer during my two pregnancies. It started for me with intermittent spotting (I went through numerous tests for 6mths thinking something was seriously wrong, the doctors not once said it could be the start of perimenopause (@43). It was frightening!). By the time I got the all clear, I had stumbled across the idea a was starting to go through the changes, and when I suggested that to the doctor, she vaguely answered as if not to invite any repercussions if she wrote it off as just that. It was quite a disservice to me. So, I then graduated to heavy heavy clotted bleeding for weeks on end, a break here and there. I lasted 1 year and a half soldiering on, when suddenly I nearly collapsed. Unsurprisingly, I'd become severely anaemic. So I stared a concerted effort of liquid Spartans iron supplements, and a diet rich in all sorts of nutrient rich food. It took 6 weeks for me to become stable, 6mths to get back to full strength as I was still bleeding heavily. I've not worked, have had other niggling symptoms here and there, but 3 mths ago I broke out in hive blisters all over my legs arms and hands. I thought I'd been bitten by a hundred mosquitoes. To date, I get ALL the rashes - hives, watery blisters, hard pimples under the skin and prickly heat up around my head chin neck and decollatage. I had to change my diet again to exclude culprits. It's worse at times - usually at night or after a nap.sometimes I sit up for hours just waiting for it to pass. Hi Symptoms such as rashes, spots, itching are often caused by an adrenaline surge maybe triggered by situations such as stress, low blood sugar levels or dehydration. It may be an idea to do a two week diary where you note not only what you eat and drink but also when (and also how you feel emotionally) just to pinpoint if any of the above apply. OMG, thank you so much for doing this video. I am 48 years old and perimenopausal. I sometimes have periods twice a month, and I never know when, but I've been getting severely severely itchy allover my body the week before my period and during my period. I noticed it's when I eat histamine foods like coffee and avacodo and chocolate. I get dizzy and anxiety as well. Now I know what's causing it. Hormones:0( Does this go away after full menopause happens?
Hi Lori Great to hear that you have found this helpful! It does usually go as hormones start to balance out but it's still a good idea to treat it as much as you can. Best Wishes Eileen
I went to a Naturopath and she said that perimenopause and menopause can lower our progesterone and estrogen thus causing our system to dry out. I was on progesterin (synthetic chemical for endometriosis) birth control pills and once I stopped this past May, my sensitive skin and scalp went crazy and constantly itchy causing severe insomnia. As per my Naturopath, I’ve just started the progesterone (natural hormone) at a low dose 100mgs (since I’ve always been hypersensitive to everything). If things don’t improve in 4 weeks, the progesterone will be slowly increased and I might have to try estrogen later. But I’m also starting to eat freshly ground flax seeds and hemp hearts with some healthy cereal, plus as many other omega 3 fatty acid foods as possible in hopes of helping this problem. I’m also trying to stop the sugar/chocolate I’m deeply addicted to especially when in pain. And yes, lots of water especially because I deal with chronic pain and medications for the past 18 years on top of it all. My skin slowly started getting itchy at times about 6 years ago (probably when perimenopause started) but is now constantly itchy since stopping the progesterin. Going to try a colloidal oatmeal bath too just to try and relieve it temporarily. And now after watching this and doing some of my own research, I’ll try Nettle tea and Neem shampoo too. Thank you.

Hi can menopause cause a pain on lower right side and the feeliings of movement in the uterus? I did have a CAT Scan and an internal exam all came back normal. Thank you Cat
Hi Cat Pain on the right side may be due to digestive issues, especially if you tend to get constipation or sluggish bowels. Drinking lots of plain water may help, if this is what it is. I have not heard of movement in the uterus (unless this is related to the digestion as well) so not sure what this could be, sorry. Best Wishes Eileen
Hi Anita Yes, this is quite common. You may find a Neem based shampoo can help and try to avoid any chemical products for the hair as the scalp can become much more sensitive ti everyday shampoos etc. Best Wishes Eileen
There are lots of different indications of the approach to the menopause, the main ones being changes in periods as well as other symptoms such as itching so it may depend on what else is happening with you. Best Wishes
What about if you have one fabriods outside the uterus on the lower right side ,pelvic and periods stop and you not sure if it's monopause or fabriods his causing pain,or if the fabriod have block your periods
Hi Edith I am afraid that this is something you would need to ask your doctor, they should be able to tell with an examination or scan. Best Wishes Eileen
Hi Monishaac Hopefully the tips and advice in my video will be of help for you. For improving skin you could take a supplement called Hyaluronic Acid capsules which you can get from most health shops. Best Wishes Eileen
I have developed tiny red bumps which are itchy . I was searching about everywhere ,all of sudden i recalled that i had itchy rashes all over my body when i was pregnant once and they all vanished as soon as i delivered the baby . So i connected this episode with my current menopausal state ( 48 now) and i am so relieved to have an answer . Its not itchy skin but i have little red bumps which itch a lot ,is this can be considered due to menopause . I have dry eyes also for almost past few weeks and yes feel like insect crawling around my ears .
Hi Reena Yes, this is quite a common symptom and may be caused by excess histamine. Drinking plenty of water can often help and you could also have a cup or two of nettle tea daily; this herb is known as a natural anti-histamine. Best Wishes Eileen
This is a good video. What a thing to go through. Just reading other peoples messages.. I can really relate to a lot of it. Its horrible and exhausted. I didn't want to use steroid cream so opted for natural . which does relieve it. Took me a while to get it right. But worth it. I am sure sugar is also a culprit. Can I ask where do you buy the vaginal probiotics? Thanks again.😁
Turning 50 next month. Wake up with achy fingers and in other areas. I was in the sun at a rodeo last Sunday and now my aches appears to be lessened to almost gone. Strange! But I’m not sure if it’s due to Sun exposure or the Estroven (max strength) I started last Saturday and Sunday so i oh two doses. But I ended up no longer taken Estroven because Monday my neck is now having a rash that could be from heat exposure and considering I take BP meds. As a kid I use to get heat rash. I’m all mess up. However I think it’s heat induced because as I sleep and get hot my neck becomes itchy once I’m up moving and not in a fetal position and air gets to my neck it appears to go away no more itching. I put some Colloidal silver it helped with itchy and redness. Is there anything else I can do?
Hi Tracy The herb Nettle is a natural anti-histamine so you could try 2 cups of nettle tea daily or try a nettle tincture. Just remember to drink lot of plain water too, as dehydration will make the itching worse! Best Wishes Eileen

Pain on the right side may be due to digestive issues, especially if you tend to get constipation or sluggish bowels. Drinking lots of plain water may help, if this is what it is.
I have not heard of movement in the uterus (unless this is related to the digestion as well) so not sure what this could be, sorry.

@@AvogelCoUk Hi yes, I do have IBS - this could be a new symptom. Thank you for replying 🐱
Me too I have lower right side with lower back pain
Can you be itching so bad on the scalp? Tks
Hi Anita
Yes, this is quite common. You may find a Neem based shampoo can help and try to avoid any chemical products for the hair as the scalp can become much more sensitive ti everyday shampoos etc.

I’m 48 yrs, my whole body itches and it worsens during my monthly periods. Does it mean that am reaching menopause?
There are lots of different indications of the approach to the menopause, the main ones being changes in periods as well as other symptoms such as itching so it may depend on what else is happening with you.

Hi Edith
I am afraid that this is something you would need to ask your doctor, they should be able to tell with an examination or scan.

Can a fibroid block your period? I have one.
Im 45 is it normal to miss a period during menopause? I've been regular every month but for some reason I skipped this month.
@@starlite7785 Yes, that’s normal. I skipped 3 months before it came back. I was hoping menopause was approaching but it showed back up. Ugh! 😢

Hi Monishaac
Hopefully the tips and advice in my video will be of help for you. For improving skin you could take a supplement called Hyaluronic Acid capsules which you can get from most health shops.

Hi Reena
Yes, this is quite a common symptom and may be caused by excess histamine. Drinking plenty of water can often help and you could also have a cup or two of nettle tea daily; this herb is known as a natural anti-histamine.

@@AvogelCoUk thank u
I'm not alone.thanks for sharing.
Applying coconut oil to the affected area helps
This is a good video. What a thing to go through. Just reading other peoples messages.. I can really relate to a lot of it. Its horrible and exhausted. I didn't want to use steroid cream so opted for natural . which does relieve it. Took me a while to get it right. But worth it. I am sure sugar is also a culprit. Can I ask where do you buy the vaginal probiotics? Thanks again.😁
Hi Kate
If you are in the UK or Ireland you can get Optibac from most health shops and some pharmacies.

Which products did you use to stop the itching?
@@BlackVelvetMagazine aloe Vera gel & calendula lotion . sometimes mixed a small amount of lavender essential oil .
Hi Tracy
The herb Nettle is a natural anti-histamine so you could try 2 cups of nettle tea daily or try a nettle tincture. Just remember to drink lot of plain water too, as dehydration will make the itching worse!

@@AvogelCoUk ok. Thanks for the reply. I've been trying to talk to a few women friends about menopause. They seem to say "oh yeah a little bit of this happened and that was it." Ok. My mother and grandmother passed away when I was younger. I dont have them to talk to now that these things are happening. Glad that some women here have the same things I do.
I had perineal private part itchy almost 1 year

Does manapores give you small itchy dry pimples
Hi
Hormonal; changes can cause skin issues such as spots and acne. Very often, drinking plenty of plain water and taking some liver supporting herbs can help such as dandelion and/or artichoke

Hi can you help me I am having itching really bad after sex on the clitorios an around the vagina even the hair like when I shave there an under the arms also can I use the sea buck thorn oil an rub the vigana with it
Hi
It is best to take the Sea Buckthorn orally and not apply to that area.
For itching and discomfort, I would suggest a combination of St John's Wort Oil and a vaginal probiotic
