My grandmother lived to 105 and my mom is 89 and never took anything. I work out 5 days a week and I am in good shape . I am 62 and never had any symptoms other than dryness and no sex drive. Never had hot flashes. I have been taking HRT since November because I wanted to see if it makes a difference- it does! Married to my best friend for 40 yrs and sex is like when we were first married . It does make a difference ! I feel great. 😊
Well, you see! It's improving your quality of life. Your experience constitutes YOUR OWN BODY telling you that it wants HRT.
How much of estrogen and progesteron are you taking? Do you take testosteron too? I also do not have classy menauposal symptoms, like flashes or dryness ( 1 year into it) but no sex drive is " killing " me! It dissapered like a switch overnight and does not come back no matter what I do!
@@user-xs9835 in the
I rub estrogen on thin part of my inner arms or inner thigh in the morning. At night I take 1 progesterone capsule. I have testosterone pellets also. I go to doc every 3 months for the pellets and my blood work is done twice a year. I just started this in November and happy I did. I am a little nervous sometimes when I hear the negative talk, sometimes I am just not sure what is the right thing to do. But I have to say it saved my sex life, I felt so bad rejecting my sweet husband of 40 years all the time. I almost never say no now!😳😂 I just try and listen to my body.

We just celebrated our 32 years of marriage and this drastic change in desire is devastating for me! And like you said, I never made up any excuses for not having sex but now became habitual lier of not" feeling well." My husband is 6 years older than me but he seems fine with his hormones! Its only us, women, who always suffer! I am currently on estrogen patch and progesteron pills.Just started recently, so far my sex drive is not even close to where it was until last year, will have follow up appointment in 2 weeks and ask my doctor about adding some testosteron.
Not sure if its approved here in Canada, my insurance might not even cover it...
@@user-xs9835 insurance does not cover any of this for me. I love in Atlanta georgia. I really do not know how long I can afford to do this. Hopefully a long time! She also has me take some supplements too, so it all adds up. When I have to do the blood work and urin tests it is really a lot of money. She said my thyroid was off and suggested supplements since I didn’t want meds yet. She also suggested going gluten free. My thyroid levels are normal now. Good luck!
I have to say how grateful I am that I found your series. Menopause was definitely mimicking other diseases I thought I was going insane and so did my regular doctor. I was also one of those fiercely against HRT dumb dumbs......no more. I had no idea how fierce this is. I was actually considering spinal surgery for several herniated discs which I do have, but since starting my HRT the pain has subsided dramatically. I can't thank you enough.
Same situation. Wasted visits for past decade to surgeons, rheumatologist s, xrays, etc. I don't have fibromyalgia or lupus...I have menopause symptoms. I feel so much better since starting hrt

Suzy Quzy926 i am experiencing pain and numbness in my legs...did an mri. It shows a mild stenoses. My gynecologist thinks is all menopause related. She is recommending HRT but I am scared....
Gemma Cesario don’t be afraid of HRT! I’ve been on it since peri menopause age 48. I’m almost 64 still on it bio identical estradiol and progesterone look better my skin looks better than my non hormone replacement family and friends. And I am as functional sexually as I was in my 20s. No difference anyone who won’t do this need to do their research themselves don’t listen to your MD
I have been on HRT for 13 years, it has kept my body strong & healthy, l have no plans to come off it.....

Many women agree with you.
Are you doing bio identical hormone pellets?

So glad I found you❤️ I had a full hysterectomy around 25 years ago and was told I would be on HRT to protect my heart and bones…. Then the study came out and everyone was yanked off of HRT. Fast forward I’m now 66 and had my thyroid ablated so now take Synthroid, gallbladder has been removed, Osteopenia, pre diabetic, dry skin, thinning hair, brittle nails and digestive issues and forgetfulness. None of my doctors over the years have mentioned that HRT is being prescribed again! I feel like I’ve been hung out to dry and I’m not happy about it! Now I’m wondering if it’s to late for me to start. I constantly struggle with my weight and feel like I’ve been hung out to dry. My Mom dyed of Alzheimer’s and now my brother has been diagnosed with it. I don’t know what to do 🥲

My next door neighbor at the age of 47 went through menopause, she took hormone replacement therapy and 7 years later she had breast cancer. 7 years after that she had brain tumors. Let's discuss not smoking ever or doing things that cause all of these diseases without blaming a lack of estrogen. Why don't we talk about what estrogen AKA hormone replacement does to the body and then weigh the pros and cons.
I'm sorry about your neighbor. Most diseases have a long list of risk factors. For many, the true cause is unknown.
Same with my mom, she took the hormones and a few years later she had breast cancer. She got through it and did all the follow up care she needed. But 7 years later she had 4 tumors in her brain and numerous tumors in her lungs. So sad to see her go like this. She was only 68 when she passed. No one in our family has ever had any type of cancer.
I studied perimenopause and menopause for 12 years under supervision of a Genius- Dr Eike Parl. ....THIS WOMAN IS RIGHT! THE BODY NEEDS ESTROGEN! SO GLAD TO SEE HER EXPLAINING THE REASONS WHY. THANK GOD FOR HER!
But if our bodies are design to not have estrogen after menapause. Should we going against nature?
Topher Magellan this too is my concern .
I think maybe it’s Mother Nature way of perhaps hmm how can I say it without it sounding harsh ....to help eliminate population ... and as menopause Barbie says we used to die a lot earlier so these symptoms probably never really had a huge effect , well not for very long .
I still get quite conflicted because I don’t take medications so the thought of medicine for something that appears natural is so hard for me to get a round , however as I start to have these peri menopause symptoms the more I feel like I don’t want to live this life looking old nor want my body to get tired .
We are meant to grow old. Not die in our Fifty's.
I’ll take it, lol.😂I totally believe you.

What's up with so many women acting superior because the didn't / don't use HRT? I've been belittled by women several times for using HRT and it's almost catty the way they brag about not taking it. Will you please consider doing a video about the prevailing attitudes of women and culture towards HRT? You're the best teacher and I appreciate your contribution.
I do address this in a few videos. Wait until you see video 187 on "Your Greatest Enemies of Menopause." in February.
Oh I agree there’s a lot of that going on ❤
I feel like it could their insecurity about not using them. Wishing they would of or could have. Or should have. Remember they are expensive. It’s a choice if they don’t feel they need then good for them. But it’s also our choice to take them. I want to keep my body in tip top shape so I’m choosing yes. ❤
@@kaydeecee8753I am 57 and you couldn't pay me to take HRT. I never say anything but acting like I can't afford it is ridiculous. I think it causes more problems than it helps. It's my choice. I love knowing that you're enjoying "Menopause U." I can see that you'll graduate with honors, too. Education is the most powerful thing on earth if you ask me.
My mom took HRT and looked beautiful and was healthy, happy and energetic until she passed at 90. I compare that to her friends who did not take and turned into hobbling, fragile "little old ladies"..
Ahhh, you see that these facts are true. With this education, you can look at any group of women and tell which ones take HRT.

My current and previous doctor refused to talk with me about my menopausal symptoms. Both suggested anti-depressants when I presented with health concerns - hey, I think something's going on here, though I had no idea what (!). I left the last doc for suggesting anti-depressants without my prompting and ran into the same problem with the current doctor. So I found a primary care physician that will treat and prescribe hormone replacement, though I've not signed on as a patient - yet. First, a consultation w/Dr. Taylor.
I'll help you with all of this. Never settle for any doctor who tries to minimize your concerns, refuses to listen to you, or works against you instead of with you. I look forward to meeting you and helping you, Rachel.

I respond to all comments here on RUclips daily. So, I will answer all your questions ... but I'll also know if you aren't watching the videos in order. (I'm like your mother. I have eyes in the back of my head!)

I give the seminar eery 6 months. It's quite a production and it's hard on my arthritis.
Alternatively, you can buy a DVD of the entire seminar from my website.
I'm telling you this because my goal is to provide an education for every woman, regardless of (1) Her learning style, (2) Her timeline, and (3) Her budget.
These videos are great for women who have the time to learn at their leisure. But if you need the information NOW, there's no way I can produce these videos fast enough. But the seminar and the DVD of the seminar give you the ENTIRE education all at once.
Another option is my book ... but you'd have to read the whole thing, which would take you longer, and be much less entertaining than the other two options.

@@MenopauseTaylor i
I’m wondering why you refer to the lack of estrogen in menopause as a disease. This puzzles me. I’ve never considered menopause to be a disease, but a natural part of life.
Well, it isn't a disease, but it isn't "natural' either. I say that because we human females are white literally outliving our ovaries. Other animals do not have a menopause. The normal life cycle is (1) Birth, (2) Reproduction, & (3) Death. That’s it!
So, instead of living as menopausal women, we’re are all supposed to be dead! Mother Nature has a formula for how long each kind of animal lives. It's all about the heart rate. Every animal gets 1 billion heartbeats, and then it dies. That's why little tiny animals, like mice, with little tiny hearts that beat quickly, die in about 2 years. And that's why great big animals, like elephants, with great big hearts that beat very slowly, live for about 80 years.
Based on this formula, humans are supposed to die at about age 47 ... before we go through menopause.
The only reason humans aren't dying at age 47 is because of all our scientific and medical advances. So now humans are getting 2.1 billion beats. I call it your billion-beat bonus.
I don't know about you, but I think of a billion-beat bonus as bonus time.
The problem is that we outlive our ovaries and the hormones they produce. And that's what menopause is: loss of our female hormone estrogen.
Perhaps women are different because we aren’t animals.
@@BluebonnetShelley We ARE animals. That's the point. We aren't plants, or rocks, or water, or air, or fire, or whatever else you can think of that is organic matter on Planet Earth.
Well I guess that’s where we differ. If you prefer to think of yourself as an animal, that’s all well and good for you. But I will stick with referring to myself as a human being.
@@BluebonnetShelley Okay.
This is a video i wish every doctor who treats menopausal women would view all doctors even surgeons. My surgeon who fixed my ankle really had no clue. Its the lack of respect and calling me crazy for wanting Estrogen I am referring to.
Most doctors have little or no education on menopause. In fact, menopause is THE most neglected topic on earth. That's why I'm determined to do something about it.
Okay, I’m on the edge of my seat, Dr. Barbie...! You are now in the area that is very sobering, and thought provoking. I cannot help but think you will recommend we stay on HRT indefinitely, unless there are marked medical reasons ( HRT doing more harm than good.) I’m going to purchase your seminar DVD. I love you as always, and Thank you! BTW, your sitting room is beautiful!
I really do think the seminar DVD is for you, Cindy. You'll get the whole education. You're starting to see how critical it is to connect the dots. All you hear in society is should bites, most of which scare you away fro doing the very things that might be best for you.
I never "recommend" that you do this or that. I don't have to. All I do is give you the facts and teach you how to apply them to yourself, That way, each woman will decide for herself what's best for her.
There are definitely women who say, "You'll have to pry my estrogen out of my cold, dead hands!" There are others who view it as a curse. It's shocking how one hormone can evoke so many varied emotions!

Hi there. I’m Canadian and my gynaecologist said HRT only helps hot flashes, vag dryness and night sweats. I asked what about Alzheimer’s or heart disease and he said there aren’t any studies to show it helps those things. He said it does help with preventing fractured hips. To say I was discouraged would be an understatement. Thanks for all your videos!
Doctors are so undereducated about this! It is in the Unitwd States as well. Doctors are not trained in how to treat menopause and they are not up to date on the latest studies. It is so sad considering this effects most women in one way or another.

Sorry but I cannot accept the comparison between the diabitis or hypo with menopause, The first two are real deseases (abnormal body condition) and they can occur to all age, while menopause is a natural mechanism for women because they are aging. In menopause the heart failure and Alzaymer are LIKELY to occur or they might not depends on the genetics and other conditions. Differently in diabitesis that is a desease the bad consequences of not taking insulin treatment are inevitable.
The great thing about this education is that you can use it (or refuse it) as you please. You never have to justify your choices to anybody.
The fact is that we are outliving our ovaries. Other animals do not have menopause. So we are living the second half of our lives in an estrogen-deficient state. Regardless of how "common" that is, it still isn't "normal" or "natural."
Thank you for this video! I also read your answer to a question below about family history, HRT and breast cancer. That is the best explanation ever! It really helped me dispel something I had misunderstood for 51 years. Again thank you!!

I was put on HRT after a total hyster. Four years later (2013) at age 45, I had a heart attack and my cardiologist pulled it from me. I miss it so much. Menopause and aging without my estrogen is the absolute worst.
I am so sorry, Kimberly. Your situation is uncommon. Most women have heart attacks because they are nit taking HRT. The real issue is timing: If you START taking HRT soon after losing your estrogen it prevents a heart attack. If you STARR taking estrogen late (more than 5 - 10 years) after losing your estrogen, it can cause a heart attack.
Your situation is odd in that you were so young at the time of your heart attack AND that you had started taking HRT at the time you lost your estrogen.
If you'd like to schedule a consultation to address your options, it would help you a lot.
I'm in the business of educating you about everything you need to know and do in order to get exactly what you want for managing your menopause your way. So, here's how a consultation works:
1) You would schedule a one-on-one consultation at my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME, choosing a time that is convenient for you. I do consultations on Skype, FaceTime. Facebook Messenger, What’s App, and the phone.
2) I would send you an email to confirm that you are scheduled for the stated time, and invite you to send me as much information about yourself as you please. You can make it brimming with details and tell me about your reproductive life, any gynecologic problems you've had, your symptoms of peri-menopause, and your symptoms of post-menopause. You can include all your fears, concerns, and goals for your menopause management. You may also send me any labs, mammogram results, bone density results, etc. that you would like me to include in designing your protocol. For instance, if you want to adhere to a certain category of management options (herbs or diet & lifestyle, or whatever), you should tell me that. I will give you a deadline for sending all materials, and will not accept anything after that date.
3) I'll get busy creating a document that gives you all the education you need to understand absolutely everything, points out the pros and cons of each option, and tailors it all to YOU, using the information you have provided. The document will be loooooong. Most are over 30 pages.
4) I will send you the document by email 48 hours before your consultation. You will benefit greatly by reading it in advance. Light bulbs will go off like crazy, and if you're like most women, you'll feel that you've already gotten your money's worth.
5) During your consultation, we will review the document and address any issues you want in order to fine tune everything and determine your best options. I'll tell you exactly how to find the right kind of professional, how to have the conversation in order to get what you want, and the nuances of things like guidelines and insurance. I leave nothing unaddressed.
6) You will go to a professional of your choosing in order to get the actual hormones or whatever you choose to use.
7) After the first consultation, I'll hold your hand (forever if you want me to). In other words, you'll be able to schedule mini-consultations (15-minute or 30-minute, in addition to full consultations) whenever you need to. I'll keep records of your situation. Most women schedule mini-consultation whenever they go to the doctor and don't understand what he or she said, or why. I translate. I make sense of everything. Most schedule mini-consultation whenever they have a new test and they want me to explain the results. And all schedule mini-consultation whenever their situation changes and they need to re-weigh and re-balance their options.
The time you spend with me will make everything about working with any other professional so easy. And they will love the fact that you have an actual education rather than a bunch of misconceptions that you got from the Internet. If your initial hormone regimen is not right, you'll want to consult with me before going to your doctor. I can prepare you for what to expect and what to request.
So, that's my role. And nobody else on earth does this kind of thing but me. So, I hope you schedule a consultation and let me hold your hand (figuratively).
I hope to meet you soon!

Dr Barbie, I disagree that we should think of menopause as a disease. Menopause happens to every woman on the planet for all of time as the aging process occurs. Adult onset diabetes is avoidable with a plant based diet, I do not know much about hypothyroidism. I am not disagreeing with doing something about menopause I just disagree with comparing it to diabetes and hypothyroidism in the way you have. I love your videos thank you so much for your time and effort! I will be getting treatment for menopause
Melissa,
I appreciate your candor.
I don't think of menopause a a "disease." But it most definitely puts you at risk for various diseases.
And the reason I say it's not "natural" is because humans aren't supposed to have a menopause. In fact, there are only 2 animals on earth that do have menopause: Killer Whales and Pilot Whales.
For all the others, life is only about one thing: reproduction. Mother Nature puts animals on earth to reproduce, and sees no reason for them to remain after they've performed their reproductive obligations.
There's actually a formula for how long each type of animal lives. And it all boils down to the size of the animal and the rate of its heartbeat. Every animal gets 1 billion beats, and then it dies. That's why little tiny animals (like mice) with little tiny hearts that beat rapidly only live about 2 years. And thats why great big animals (like elephants) with great big hearts live for 80 years.
Humans, however, are now living so long that we are getting 2.1 billion heartbeats. (I call it our "billion beat bonus)! Based on our body size and heart rate, we get to 1 billion beats at abut the age of 48. And that's when we're "supposed to die" according to the lifespan formula for all the other animals on earth.
And the only reason we're living so long is because of all the scientific and medical advances that have allowed us to do so.
So, the fact is that we're literally "outliving" our ovaries. We were not intended to do that. And because we're running out of a vital substance long before we die, our bodies age in reaction to the deficiency of estrogen.
I know you've probably never heard anyone present it in this way, but if you think about it, it makes perfect sense.
Back in the days of the Roman Empire, women lived to the ripe old age of 23. They married in their early teens and died during childbirth fairly routinely. We've only been living past the age of 50 since the late 1800s. But way back then, no one even know what "menopause" was. They institutionalized women in asylums in the 1800s when they manifested symptoms and behaviors due to menopause.
In any case, that's why I talk about menopause as an "estrogen deficiency." The consequences of estrogen deficiency are diseases.
I love your comments, and I hope my explanations don't offend you. I never intend offense.
Menopause Taylor this was a most amazing response...my jaw dropped while reading it, NO ONE explains it as you do!
As I always say, "Everything should make sense." Know the facts, and then do as you please.
I really think that you have to consider how infant mortality rate affects the longevity statistics of human and look for data that controls for it. In 1900, 48 was the life expectancy of a woman; however, high infant mortality rate skews this average. Women and men, who’s life expectancy at that time was 46, were not dying en masse.
Menopause Taylor I am providing a link to a life expectancy chart that shows how many more years could one expect to live if they are a certain age in a certain year. So, if you were a 20 year old women in 1900, you could expect to live another 43 years, that is, you could expect to live until 63 years of age. Menopause and all. Of course, that also means that some of those women died much earlier and some lived longer. Using the same chart, let’s look at women at the age of menopause. If you were a 50 year old woman in 1900, you could expect to live another 22 years; that is 72 years old- 20 years past the average age of menopause.

I love your visuals! Thank you again for another educational video. It is terribly rough to have both ie, hypothyroidism AND Menopause....this becomes a slowed, overweight, 1 cylinder automobile!! 🤪 However, your details of differences are awesome! Thanks...this helps!! Maybe if conventional doctors saw menopause as a disease or deficiency state, it would be treated properly. But then again, DM2 and Hashimoto’s (for many, many folks) are not treated properly either.

Thank you for your wonderful channel! Would you mind doing a video about HRT and whether/how it may improve early signs of skin aging? I'm 41 and was just hit overnight with crepey skin under my eyes, along with other symptoms of perimenopause.
As someone who hit perimenopause at 38 and just realized it at almost 41, have your hormones tested via a blood test and then start HRT accordingly. I’m currently fighting to get HRT. A “renowned” local specialist is currently only giving me a lower than therapeutic dose of progesterone and it’s “compounded” to boot. Nothing scientific about it. Hopefully you receive better care immediately. I’m having to fight for my future.
I wish I had found you 2 years ago when I broke my right foot by walking on it. Now that I broke my left foot the same way, I am taking estrogen to hopefully prevent a broken hip. I hope that it is not too late.

@@MenopauseTaylor .. thanks for your quick response. I have tried the online courses. Maybe you've heard of Melissa Ramos at sexy food therapy. I feel like there is a lot of information out there. For me, personally, it was too hard trying to figure out all the technical details. RUclips is the extent of my social media skills..
"Online courses?" What do you mean?
A one-on-one consultation consists of you and me, interacting by phone or Skype or FaceTime. You don't need to be a technologically-gifted person. I'm a lot like you. I HAD a RUclips channel before I knew what RUclips was!
@@MenopauseTaylor .. teehee.. just goes to show you what I'm talking about. I do know what a phone is, so maybe this could work!🤗
Bingo! There's always a way.
I had a complete hysterectomy 23 years ago. I haven’t had HRT in about 22 years. I have dry skin, irritability and moodiness and that’s about it. I also had those symptoms before my surgery. And according to what I have seen in these videos, since I am over 5 years without estrogen, I can’t take it anyway right? So I’m screwed?
Started T shots and progesterone in Aug 22. Life got better. Added low dose estrogen in Sept 22 and was doing amazing. Then Nov 22 started to feel some pain in ovaries, then in Dec my uterus felt like it was on fire! Flare up 3 days after injection then die down on day 6. Continued the HRT into January and couldn't take it. Had ultra sound and fibroids growing 😩 I've stopped HRT. Count your blessings ladies, for those of you who have excellent benefits with no side effects.
I can help you with this in a consultation.
This is precisely the kind of thing for which I do one-on-one consultations. You definitely need one. I cannot tailor things specifically to you in a comment box. It requires much more information than you can give me here, and you deserve much more information than I can give you here. No two women are alike, and addressing your situation requires tailoring all the facts specifically to YOU. I do them all via video conferencing. You can schedule at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I look forward to meeting you and helping you.
thank you so much now i know i am safe to take it i been taking for 2 years it is life change for me i choose quality life so love
It's nice to get reassurance, isn't it.
HRT was a risk factor for breast cancer for one of my relatives
HRT is NOT on the list of risk factors for breast cancer. That's fear run amuck. I will give you an entire unit on breast cancer (consisting of 55 videos).
Scared to death of HRT but think about it all the time. My GYN avoids prescribing it as much as she can because she claims there is not enough info/long term affects yet.
You're a hero! Think of the lives you've helped save ☺
What a kind and thoughtful comment! Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts. I love giving you this education.
Do you ever just get through to the other side.
I'm so annoyed at my healthcare providers. I had a total hysterectomy bilateral oopherectomy 12 years ago and was only given HRT via pellet in my abdomen. I was told i wouldn't need it for longer. I had no symptoms so assumed all was ok. Now thanks to the info in your videos i discover I'm screwed. I wish I'd found you 11 years ago.
Heather,
You should definitely schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I will tailor this entire education specifically to YOU to ensure that you know ALL your options, along with all their benefits and risks. You deserve so much more than what you've gotten thus far. I will help you make up for some of the inadequacies.
Thanks so much for this, I must try to persuade my friend to watch this!
Learning all the facts (and knowing what is fiction) is powerful. Getting this education is the best investment you could possibly make in yourself and your future. Just tell your friend that you love her, and that's why you want to share my videos with her. If you watch them in order, starting with the very first one, you'll be shocked at how much you didn't know. And, I promise you'll understand everything.
Menopause Taylor do you have any videos about boosting your energy level?
@@MenopauseTaylor is it possible that I can become pregnant at age 48 even if I don't have any more periods?
@@Juanita621 I cover everything ... but in units. And it will be a looooooong time before I get to the unit on fatigue. Please consider scheduling a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME if you want my help on this now. I can tailor everything specifically to YOU that way.
@@isabelm7640 If you are still peri-menopausal, and have not gone 12 consecutive months with no period, consider yourself fertile.
No doubt this woman knows what she is talking about however, I can’t get passed the fact that she talks to her audience like we are bunch of 3 year olds!
The fact is that most women know absolutely nothing about menopause. So, I assume you know nothing and proceed from there.
If you’d like a more efficient delivery of this menopause education, you should do one of the following:
• Read my book
• Watch the webinars in order
• Watch the DVD entitled Your Menopause Your Way
They all give you the complete education without the fluff of the videos. You can get any of these from my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME.
And if you want the fastest track, schedule a consultation with me, and you'll get the education along with tailoring of it specifically to YOU. You can schedule a consultation at MenopauseTaylor.ME.
These videos cover only one piece of information in each video. That’s intentional. If you only use these videos to get your education, it will be very complete, but it will take a looooooong time. My goal is to meet the needs of all women, regardless of their learning style, and regardless of their command of the English language. Many of my viewers speak English as a second, third, or fourth language. You may not care about them, but I do.
I am the only person providing a complete and unbiased education on menopause. So, I’m trying to serve the needs of all women. I’m sorry I haven’t served yours well. But I think one of the other options listed above will.
Very frightening information. Confused, are you saying that if you do not take ERT you will become horribly ill with all these issues? Meaning, women who do not go through ERT are doomed? This seems very odd as I live in Houston Texas just 1.5 miles from the famous Texas Medical Center and can't find a doctor that is capable or available to "treat" menopause. I do adore you yet this does seem a bit odd. If this is indeed necessary (not saying it is not), then why is this such a mystery and why is it nearly impossible to get a qualified and competent doctor to "treat" menopause. I did in fact go to the national website you mentioned to find a doctor. Three years later and the result is i have not found one doctor that is competent or available. Very odd and disturbing. Not sure what this means. I do adore you and do believe you enjoy teaching. Thank you for the information. Not sure what to do with this information as it seems to lead to a dead end. Two years since my last period and I will say I look the best I ever have despite the fatigue. Seems to me that menopause is a natural part of being a female. If this was as easy as you communicate, treating menopause as you would an insulin deficiency, then why is it so difficult to access competent care and straight forward information? I would welcome having a doctor that can do what you share. Miffed by this secret information!
Lisa,
You would benefit soooo greatly from a consultation with me. You are asking a very critical question for which there is a very factual and logical explanation that is much too involved to deliver here.
So much of what you write taps into the very reason I make these videos and teach women this information. They are not getting the help not the eduction they deserve. I'm trying to change that.
@@MenopauseTaylor Thanks for taking the time to reply and for the detailed information. Not sure I do want to get on hormones yet will give what you advise more thought and reach out to you for a possible consultation if it feels right. Sincere thanks, Lisa in Houston
@@lisahilton9616 Lisa,
I'm here to help you manage your menopause any way you want to. All I care about is that you have an actual education with which to do so, I push nothing, recommend nothing, and sell nothing.
I teach you the facts, help you tailor them to YOU, and then help you manage your menopause using anything you want: Diet, lifestyle, Vitamins, Minerals, Herbs, Hormones, or Non-hormonal medications. So, I'll be here whenever you need me and for what ever you need me.
I have the Estradiol and haven't taken much of it because of all of the myths and stories. I feel really crappy and have gained a ton of weight. thin itchy skin, low energy, not sleeping well, driving and can't remember how to get to places I normally go, I get tearful at times for no reason, grandkids which I usually enjoy are now getting on my LAST NERVE, my Hoo-ha is very sensitive to the point that I can't even wear panties. I'm taking the Estrogen now to see whether it will make me feel better. Thanks for the video. I'm going to watch the ones I've missed.
If you tart with the very first video and watch them all in order, you will definitely understand everything.
And if you want a short-cut and to have everything tailored specifically to YOU, just schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME.
Good analogy! 💕💕
But you can not prevent yourself from getting old even if you take estrogen skin still will get wrinkles and grey hair will appear youth finishes with menopause

menopause is not a disease
No, it isn't. But, as with all hormone deficiencies, it does result in diseases that are directly due to the hormone deficiency (just like insulin deficiency or thyroid hormone deficiency).

Dr barbie, love nd regards
I m taking thyroxine hormone
since 2011 nd it has given back nd saved my life.
Deficiency or excess of any harmone can make u crazy . But there is no fear or risk associated with thyroxine hormone .
Menopause without a doubt is an oestrogen deficient state but there is fear nd risk of cancer nd stroke attached to oestrogen replacement. That is where the problem lies. WHI study has done a lot of disservice for women . Thats really sad.
You're right, Pooja. The problem is that you have never gotten all the information you need to make an adequate assessment of HRT. That's why I present the facts to you. You'll benefit a lot from video 98.
You will also benefit from cancer with that HRT
Good information- but the delivery- I'm not a 5 year old!
