Personal Tab - Salvage - Hammerhead clean-up missions. Get in the Hammerhead pilot seat before towing to avoid crime stat. It says in the description to tow it away or scrape the hull. 250k per completed mission, generally 1-2 million per hour depending on how many other people are doing the same thing lol. If a lot are, you might be waiting a while to get the mission.
I think the tractor beams sits at the angle it does to resemble a tow truck more like how the truck would have it's boom and hook upward at an angle. Also you do have like 2 salvage missions you can use it for, 1 of which pays out 250k aUEC.
They have added salvage missions where it even asks you to either tow the vehicle away or salvage it. Sounds like towing them away is an easy way to make 80k plus whatever you can salvage from it
Right now those give you crime stats if you are within sat range, no legal missions available.
@@EvenLease44 Yes. But you won't get a crime stat if you EVA to the ship, sit briefly in the pilot seat, then EVA back to your SRV.
I find your reviews strangely relaxing and more fun than the personal item/cargo patch in 3.24. FYI there were some short missions to tow ships out of a zone for some ok scratch. I liked them, you could go aboard the dead ship to look for treasure before towing, it was fun in the way as ship scraping can be. I gata ask, what is the problem with space toilets?
If you wanna be a pirate it has potential. Just hangout around the salvage yards soft death ships and use it to loot and tow the ships somewhere a vulture is waiting. If you have a bigger ship then boom salvage farm if you got escorts. Heck you can even hold those remote commodity locations hostage and charge a fee to enter safely
Beside the yet missing game loop she could have been made a little bigger. The RAFT is such an industrial comfort trailer vehicle for 2 people, working both in the cockpit or on the opposite site of the ship, which would fit for the SRV, too.
i pull abandoned ships out of armistist zones and my friend salvages it
How do you go about that if their shields are up?
@@EvenLease44 If its abandoned the doors will open and i just turn the shields off. I think they are auto unlocking after being abandoned for so long. I pull a 890 30km away from sephrim so we wouldnt be picked up on radar but most players dont even pay me any mind. Total in 4 days weve netted about 30 mil playing about 3-4 hours in the evening look for the old servers they are usually chalk full of ships
It actually has some legit legal uses for in the wake of disaster mission and other salvage missions, because you can now with the STV tow away the wrecks to a save location for your reclaimer or vulture to harvest the ships which allows you to only risk the STV and not the reclaimer or vulture and thereby keeps you already collected RMC safe. I will however acknowledge that this is pretty niche and a small usage but for salvage oriented people like me it’s worth it

i absolutely love my srv. its easy money in org ops. take hammerhead missions, tow them out of illegal tresspassing area, salvage, repeat.
I like to live in my 315p and I collect a lot of little treasures. From time to time I get caught off guard when I’m not in my pilot seat and my ship gets shot up.
Would this SRV be able to tow my 315p back to a hangar so I don’t loose all my little treasures? How would it land with a ship in tow.

i think the towing is just fine it will take two SRV's to two out what you had on the awsome video though just to let you know and i think they had 4 or 5 SRV's on the 890 jump to tow it out of station space
I wish we had more ships without weapons. Not every space truck needs to be armed.
bed logging will be a thing though wouldnt that be a issue
you can make over 1 million per hour with this ship, some people even making 50 million per hour, i would not call it a do not buy. buy it use it to make some money to buy some bigger ships in game and then CCU it to something elce if they nerf it.
While you can now it’ll soon be nerfed as per usual, the missions aren’t of the legal kind either.
They need to add a legitimate gameplay loop for this vehicle to be a daily driver.
Also like I said, once it has more options for its primary intended use it’s easily an 8/10 or more. Right now it’s definitely lacking a consistent loop like the Vulture or Prospector has.

Yikes. Bad take. It’s a new ship with features that will improve, there are no legal missions for this ship and it has a lot of potential. I appreciate your comment but not the attitude :)
Yo man learn that it can move a tank were ever I want to put one as far as other uses you got a hull c there plenty of ways to make the ship use full and as far as my as the adatude I was just surprised you did not see the potential the ship has sorry if I hurt your feelings
@@richardcochrum637 it can move many things and like anything in this game you can make gameplay for it. But we need a more official legal method of putting the ship to use, if you heard my opinion that the ship could easily be an 8 or even higher it just needs the official gameplay.
@@EvenLease44 my only take on is find ways to use it there are plenty and is really great if you want to take nice things from others Iam sorry you need to color in side the lines I don't and I make my own fun not wait for someone else to do it for me
