They changed the game for me last night. I didn't get the crime stat for hooking up, but security was all over me every step of the way. You sometimes have to tow while under fire, then escape after accomplishing the mission.
*Tractor function is same as mining function. Keybind mining function to a quick button.
*Keybind mining fire function to a quick button.
*Keybind rear view to a quick button.
*Use the rear view instead of entering remote turret.
Get close, turn 180, put in mining mode, use rear view, fire mining button, release rear view and kite your Hammerhead. Call it repo tow tactics.
SRV is still available for rent during the finale of IAE through the 30th.
I rented an SRV at expo and made about 9.5mil in less than 2 days, maybe 5h of playing tops . Half of the time i was lucky to get an offline array wich just made me one after another HH mission. Happy citizen :D bought a2 for upcoming jt ]:> vulture , hurricane , red cutty and left with some spare
And now get ready to be fully wiped next major patch because of exactly this.
@@MarcelPlays why so? Its not a glitch either bug. Even if they wipe all items etc they leave auc as I stayed with 450k since more then 2 wipes . And even If , you think i am not aware of incoming wipes ? With full release we will lose all but pledges. Sadly but you wont take my hype down . Have a nice day :)
Confirmed. This is an awesome game loop, especially for casual players. No reputation grind required before the credits come in. Mission duration is short. The crime stat work around is convenient and keeps the bounty hunters away. You can also make this slightly fast by releasing the HH early.as it will continue to traverse at speed until the trigger distance. The only annoying thing is that bed logging is bugged due to the trespass warning being triggered on even after the mission is complete. I had to dock at Grim Hex to log out. More videos like this please.
Easiest way I've found to get clear of the authorities when they get stuck in the LET'S BLOCK YOUR PATH AND SCAN YOU FOREVER loop is spool up your QT drive, pick an OM marker or destination pretty much at random and jump away from them. Just a second or two of QT and you can drop out and get lined up with where you really want to go.
Hammerhead holds a total of 40 scu max cargo. You have a SLIM chance of finding a very few scu that's worth hauling off if you scan the ship.
To rent the SRV, go to the Expo hall (the only one open now) and go down the stairs to the holo-suite area, there are a bunch of terminals there to rent all the ships from the show. If you're looking for snipers or railguns or such, you can also buy them while there, they are just on display on a wall across from the terminals. I suspect bonuses also include whatever you might be able to find in the cargo bay. That was the big money maker before the SRV was in the game; doing risky hammerhead salvage jobs, looting the cargo bay for all the drugs, and then selling them at brios or such. A single SCU of Maze goes for about 90k so that's a decent bonus lol. The SRV is supposed to be able to tow through quantum, right? If the hammerhead has too much cargo for the SRV to carry, maybe tow it to the OM you're using as your staging point, run back for the C1 or MSR or such, and jump back to the same OM to get all the cargo you can out of it. It's something to try between missions at least lol. Could even leave your cargo ship of choice at or near your chosen OM, go zero-G, backspace to your home at Grim or Seraphim, pick up the SRV and then start this back and forth lol. Lots of ways this can be customized and streamlined lol.
I sat in the chair for a constellation mission. When I tried to leave it, the elevator wouldn't open again and the side airlocks wouldn't open either. I climbed into the snub fighter and left the ship. It couldn't fly right and I couldn't get out. F4 was my last resort, and had to reclaim the srv. That was my first attempt. Maybe the second will be better.
o no there is other ways to use this for one man salvaging using reclaimer box mission the srv and c2 will park reclaimer in deep space along with the c2 use the srv to get missions and bring them back to reclaimer after filling up cargo in the c2 move to park it and get in a fast ship head back out and bring the filed reclaimer in i leave other ships in deep space its not good to salvage own ships for profit my luck something bad will happen and with full reclaimer and c2 i can bring home 50 mill pluss a full day i would like to find a crew to help but as i tried i was knifed in back by the helper before we even started as i don't let ppl on ship with backpack or guns and didnot see the knife so Queston is there any good people left out there in the verse ?

I had the problem yesterday, that I think many hammerhead missions were not completed on the server. The hole asteroid field was packed with hammerheads and constelations and so there where hostile NPCs everywhere (wich I think appear after the missions countdown ends). I got attacked just by getting into the area, before I could start to tow.
Servers where also a big problem and 30ks so it was not easy to switch servers
I wonder if sitting in the pilot seat work around would also work for the hull scrapping missions.
Huh, I'll have to check that out. You know if you want a basically infinite amount of hull to scrape and not worry about anyone bothering you go try the Failed Negotiations mission around ArcCorp. There's a reclaimer you can scrape for free. I did it once with my reclaimer and it took me 4 hours to scrape the whole thing :)
@@ewd1020It did took you 4 hours because mission spawned ships (other then salvage missions and cover up) have practically same salvage speed as if you salvage your own ship. Normalny Reclaimer would be scrapped with other Reclaimer in an hour. So in short, you waste 4x the time of A2/C2/M2/Hammerhead and block others from doing Failed Negotiations what is an entry earning mission for new guys.

SRV correction, according to Scooter of Damar, the bathroom is the Dumper Thumper 5000 :P Durring F2F I towed a ship from the ground...it seems thats a class 3 no no.
Unfortunatley, with 3.23 as of right now, the payout has been greatly reduced. It is now 30k for the hammerhead.
The method still works but the reduced payout doesn't make this method of money making as viable as it used to bee.
I borrowed someone's SRV but wasn't able to use the elevator, so I couldn't get out and avoid a crime stat.
Whenever i try this mission there are like 5 mantis and avenger titans around it ready to attack me as soon as i tresspass
How can I buy AGRO SRV? The sites say that they are sold at New Deal in Lorville, but it is not listed there!

Can you just gently fly into the hammerhead and kinda... push it? Does that work? Would that give crimestat?
The bonus is cargo on the Hammerhead, no? Other missions like salvage and bounty can have ships with very valuable cargo.
Hammer head got Cargo elevator with cargo on it could check that for illegal drugs for extra profit on each tow

You can re rent all the ships on the last 3 days which is the best in show. On the good by IAE day the halls should be closed
i got a level 3 crime stat for just flying near it. npc police showed up and instantly transported to prison for 3.5 hours real time. ruined my afternoon

2 months ago you did this trick under the 3.21 version. Now we are on the 3.22 version. Is it still possible dto do this trick? Or has the 3.22 version made a change that won't let you do this trick anymore? 😮

These pay nothing anymore. They really nerfed the hell out of the salvage missions.

Just tried doing the mission, there was security already at the Hammerhead and they began doing a ship scan. I went into the HH and got arrested shortly after.
same for me yesterday
I think this is because there are other hammerheads from other missions that got not completed so the security showed up after the countdown.

You can rent an Argo SRV, when you go in the hall where ships are exposed, in the center of the room, you have stairs going down, they are terminals where you can rent almost any ship!

@@MegaMrbooth In the past day, security seems to have beefed up. I cannot do these either as security is always there.
I guess no more hunting those SRV player bounties with my Mantis. I was fun hunting those SRVs in Yela.
didn't tried by myself jet, but was read that you actually can flight these hammerheads, so you need to flight from point, finished mission, take new one and replace hammerheads =) somebody can approve it ?

If you bump the hammerhead gently with your ship you won't get crime stat when towing it.

Yep, I was doing it for another video I'm making. So, as of 3.22 you can definitely rake in the credits but you have to buy it in the pledge store (if it's still there). Won't be available for in game purchase for a couple more months.

Sad to see you join one of the most hated orgs in Star Citizen, but curious what reason they'll find to throw you under the bus. Their leader has screwed over more people than the org currently has.

I doubt it, theres no reason to nerf it. its not that big of a lump sum, and u have to server hop to chain them. Not really that broken when compared to the 50 plus million per hour like risky salvage

If all this video was about avoiding the CS, you would be right but since he also gives a brief tour to those that are not familiar with the SRV and a walk thru of the mission for those that don’t know about it…well, you are not correct.

Sooo, just abusing a game bug. Same level as abusing Drake Mule dupes, duplicating weapons etc. Not only abusing a bug but also stopping guys who actually do salvage from being able to do it in this mission.
You do realise it literally says tow the ship out of the area in the mission description?
Secondly there are plenty of salvage missions and plenty of abandoned HH in Yela asteroids.
