For anyone watching, it's only the star runner that bugs out and shows up as a friendly bounty. Abandon the contract, or relog if you don't want to lose the little bit of rep.
If you go to prison, go below depth 7/8/9 to lose com link, and just beat the shit out of all of the NPCs. Only loot Dolovine/Hadanite. Ignore Aphorite like the plague, go back to the kiosk with 2 filled backpacks, and that should be enough to get you out of most sentences.
The Valkyrie is a drop ship rather than a gun ship, but it still has 30 scu storage since it was updated - they can drop loot, but bounties are not guaranteed to have cargo.

@@MaSparky Keep your ears open, if you hear the sound of someone grunting, jumping, and landing repeatedly - someone's coming to get you. Best keep a shank handy.
dont even have to fight the NPCs. just get behind them and use the takedown option. instadown for them.
Once you have your target locked you can also sub-target individual aspects like engines directly. Default binding for "Cycle Lock - Sub-Target - Forward" is 8 on KB

Sub-targeting currently doesn't work (3.21), but should be fixed fairly soon in a "not too distant" update.

Hot tip if you find the big hauls and don’t have the cargo space: pull all boxes off the ships into a central area. Then backspace yourself back to your station of choice. Grab a C2 (which you should get if u don’t have) then you can fly back to your death marker. The ships you killed will have despawned along with any loot still on their grid but the good stuff you pulled off will still be floating in space.

@@Sulto_ I’ve found so long as you don’t disconnect, you can always find your death marker. Sometimes it disappears, but a few quantum jumps, getting in and out of your seat often brings it back.
I also must admit that I just do ERTs in a C2 these days to skip this whole thing. Takes a bit longer to kill shit, but makes up for it in time savings when u get the mother load. Also this will all be moot soon with the cargo nerf

One more Tipp, soft death can appear always, doesn't matter what you shoot. When hull gets red, there will be at a certain time an explosion, that's the soft death. If you fire 2-3 bullets more, there will be another explosion, ship destroyed. But it's a bit tricky because it can appear at once if you just fire and fire. So a bit Training and it's fine

In my opinion, workhorse ships are the most fun things like the C1, Corsair, and Connie can do just about anything. You just need to choose what style you like the most.
i love my c1.. such a stylish ship and actually stupid fast and nimble for it's size.. but i had to get used to not being able to take as much of a beating as with my andromeda.. but still i choose this as my daily driver

the Corsair will let you do this a little bit faster with a little more cargo space. I suggest selling in a safe place like CRU-L5. A lot of people thought it no longer had an NQA (no questions asked) terminal, but it does in the Galleria section hidden in with some construction stuff.

@@chadsoucek4678 again I don't recommend anybody spend money on the game unless they want to support the project but if that is the reason you're looking at purchasing one of these two ships the C1 is better ship for money. both the C1 and the Cutlass black give you a lot of things however if you find yourself playing with friends you might lean toward the Cutlass black both the same one and the Cutlass black are great multi-role ships however the C1 just let you fit a lot more into it you can stuff scu worth of cargo in it while it' s cargo grid only supports 64 the black has about 20 less makeing the c1 the better Haller and keeping the maneuverability of the cutty and if your solo the firepower to
Nice! Well done! Keep in mind though that ship prices will be savagely increased in 3.22. 4 to 5 times what it costs in 3.21. So depending on whether your in game purchased ships will be retained, (I don’t know, appears to be inconsistent over last 2 patches), it may be worth your while to buy before the next patch comes in.

This is not the case. It was a temporary increase in the PTU for in game ship cost from my understanding
@@goldmund22 yeah it appears for now CIG kept ship prices the same, but increased cost of armor. Very difficult to predict what happens sometimes.
Yep, I have gotten that no enemy issue sucks. I log out for the 4 hrs. They need to adjust this loop if you were on one of these missions.
Just a tip on Jail time. If you get the mission to vent, do it. But otherwise go down to level 8/9 on any of the tunnels, knock out other inmates and take what ever they have in their packs, prioritise hadanite. 20 mins tops.

Start at OM1 over Yela I think it is to warp to each mission. It will put you above the roids so you can fly down to your targets, then warp back to OM1 which will be your Perch. Less obstacles to have to fly through in those missions approaching from above.
I also am an OM1 enjoyer.
If you don't want to get out of your ship you can try shooting the cargo bay open on most ships.

there are 2 prison escape game loops, one is just escape and go to SPK to clear your crimestat, the easier is contract 'need an out', some videos exist for this, this shows the way out that both escape game loops need.
If you press b on the multi tool whilst mining it puts it on extraction mode so you dont have to pick up gems manually

FYI
At Klescher, just go to cave 8+ and melee kill NPCs for their loot. It only takes two or three to get enough ore to buy your way out.
Once I get the crime stat I go to the joint and just don't play for a day until the sentence is clear.
Regarding prison, you can burn through it very fast without any mining. Get the mission to repair the dispenser, (it isn’t always there) then go down a tunnel and keep going down until you lose comm signal. Then, known out NPC’s with hand to hand combat. All you have to go is get behind them and use the takedown maneuver, and loot them. Take all stones except Aphrodite and fill yourself up. You’ll be out in no time.

ERT´s in a C or M2 with 2x s5 AD5B can be extremely fun.. but the C1 is a fine ship for these... but as soon as you experience leaving 50+SCU of eggs behind cos u dont have space u will look into the C2 option :D

Hey Nerd, I run the C2 with the AD5Bs. Absolutely eats ERTs. I was lucky yesterday with a lil over 50mil in eggs and maze. The biggest hiccup for me is selling. There is never enough demand.

Funnily enough you could have easily paid off your CS3.
Contrary to popular belief, CS3 can be paid off, as long as its not a homicide charge. This has been in the game for the last few patches.

Pro tip for anyone upgrading their A1 or C1, skip upgrading the QT drive. Stock is comes with the Yeager which is a Military Grade B. The X1 costs $94k and only nets you a decrease jump time of 3-10 seconds (10s being the jump from MT to ArcCorp). Save your hard earned drug money!
Wish I was playing when the loot was that good from even HRTs. Now, even ERT missions aren't regularly, maybe not at all, dropping loot this good.

Little question, after upgrading your ship, if you get detroyed, you lose all your upgrades right ? So you lost a bunch of them during this video ?
Nope they stay! So you only have to upgrade once per wipe!

@ZeldriFR That's what Insurance us about. It's not in the game yet and therefore you don't have to worry about losing upgrades or ships. Insurance will come when the game releases, which will be a long time from now
I can say as of 17 Apr 24, this is not true. You definitely lose your upgrades. I flew all the way to Grim and upgraded my shields with the FR-76, i believe, and i lost it on the first blow up... Maybe circumstances matter, but i was bummed and haven't flown back out there to upgrade again just yet.

You can sell "nice" loot at all the scrap yards, CRU L4, L5(but the commidity screens is a bit hidden) , and Grim Hex but GH pays not as good
Where did you go to sell all that Slam? I had 25 SCU of the stuff from a bounty the other day and after spending an hour selling it 2 SCU at a time at a no questions asked terminal I just dumped the rest
Grim hex sells slowly but cru l5 and l4 are a lot faster

Ok I have a question: I got attacked by AI pirates yesterday. A 600i and a caterpillar. It took me over an hour with 10 times going for a repair on a mining outpost right below me in order to kill them, even tho I had pretty much the same loadout as you had.
I shot one of them. His shield got low, my shield got low. I tried doing some damage to him, I got some damage, went for repair, rinse and repeat.
What am I doing wrong?
The caterpillar and 600i are pretty tough ships to go against in a C1. For those ships I would recommend making sure you focus on one section of the shields such as the rear shields. Trying to take out big ships without focusing on one shield section is almost impossible in the C1. Once I made my money with the C1 I traded up to the Corsair and M2 due to the bigger weapons to make ERTs easy.
They NEED to let that ship land in bigger hangers...lol. I ALWAYS clip the nose or tail.
I dont mind the gameplay loop in prison can do some fixing and mining and get out pretty quick

This happened to my target I got crimestat for killing my target.
I did VHRT last night and got 130scu maze and more. Last week I did miss out on 2 C2 herc in 1 VHRT
I had the same thing! I killed my bounty target and immediately failed the contract and got CS3! A friend and I tried to hack my crimestat and ended up killing a huge pile of guards and then not being able to insert the Tigerclaw anyway. So many people had to die because of CIG's bugs!
Those poor innocent guard killed for no reason. How tragic lmao.

You don't need to upgrade power plant or coolers. If what you have is enough to power the ship and cool your weapons, upgrading won't do it any better.

try bounty huntin with Constellation Taurus it has more cargo space or you could go all the way and try the C2 :) i fly the C2 for the HRT and ERT and it makes it pay :)
I’ve thought about trying the C2, but I’ve heard it’s hard for bounties.
@@MaSparky if you are doin the higher tier bounties you will have almost every time big ships so the C2 i perfect it has lot of shields and hull so its tanky asf :)
you can still flee from the jail if you have a friend who is picking you up

There is somewhat complex system of tunnels from the main prison area. I won't spoil anything for you since it is pretty awesome experience especially when you are doing it for the first time.
You need another person to pick you from the planet surface once you manage to escape the underground tunnels.
Once you escape you still need to clear your crime stat with hacking skills.

How to make money fast xD. Well maybe after u did 20 MRT and as you stated 40VRTs and your prison loop so estimated 30 hours of gameplay? :D
To get to erts it takes aprox 100 bounties. Get urself a gladius until u reach vhrts to make live better for like 50-60 missions, get drugs from the bounties, and buy a taurus! Upgrade it with 7ca shields and put ballistics in, ur good to go. The rest on bounties until erts AND erts included will be easy :)
Edit: you can get to erts in 2 days if u play the game, lets say around 10-15 hours to get to erts
Well I’d say it took around 10 but once you unlock it even after wipes you only have to redo the evaluation missions. So it is very quick comparatively if you play this game more than a few hours.

Prison is the worst game play loop ever created because the game bugs out to much and gives you crime stats for actual enemies. I've been prison so many times and not once ever was it for me killing an innocent it was the game bugging out on non-illegal mercenary missions, killing NPC pirates in bunkers and caves and like you a ship labeled an enemy.
