About your kids, people are too quick to judge. Even if it was a one-parent household, mums have a tendency to know their children. It's a beautiful blessing to be able to work from home and watch kids grow.

One thing I want to share with you is wrapping your cakes about five minutes after they come out the oven and freezing them is how I do it. All the moisture gets trapped in the cake and the cling wrap works as a shrink wrap. Don’t wrap them super tight though or it will distort the cake. It’s worked out really well for me.

I use convection for baking everything. Especially cakes. I turn it down to 325 though. And watch your times because it cooked faster. It is essentially a fan that keeps the hot air circulating around your pans so you get less hot spots. I love it. Give it a try and figure out your oven cause every oven is different . 😊

Next, I absolutely hate filling, stacking and frosting a cake. It has been my biggest struggle to get a smooth cake. I have tried all the tips and tricks. I have practiced and practiced. I like the longer video format a lot. I like to watch cake videos while I'm baking etc, so it's nice. As far as the convection - you can bake cakes with convection, basically it fans the interior of the oven so things bake more evenly - BUT you have to be mindful because you have to lower the temp from the normal bake temp and usually less time as well. But it's really beneficial if you are baking on multiple racks as there is no "hot spot" where you would need to turn/rotate your cake pans. Oh and as far as all the things other people say that you feel you need to answer to - ignore them! If something you're doing bothers them that much then maybe they're just not your audience

Like my cake flour I buy three or four at a time. That’s what works for me but my mind is not like yours and I go by the food safety standards cause it can sit on my shelf just like it sits in a warehouse or in a store. I love cake mixes too. Definitely the measuring is my least favorite part and prepping

Baking is one of me least favorite parts. I would say using a scale makes it quicker and easier; I do recall you saying it's not good you. Also, the cleanup, please get somebody else to do it 😂.

Stick to the long videos. We just watching while baking anyway.

I ordered your cake recipe bundle on 5/4/24, how do I figure out how to make a 8in two layer cake with the recipes in the bundle? I didn’t realize that the bundle didn’t come with any frosting recipes. I want to purchase the “Dream Cream 4 pack bundle. Does your Dream Cream 4 pack come with measurements for frosting cakes and cupcake?

Hi! Thank you for purchasing! One batch per 8” pan. So for 2 8” cakes double the recipe.
Half the recipe for a two layer 8” cake.
I will work on updating both recipes with the proper measurements. Thank you for the suggestion!
