It’s one of the best ways to wash and dry your car if you wash it often. Most of the scratches and swirls that you see on your paint are mostly do to washing and drying your car by hand. I have some concerns before I start spending money and I believe you have the right answer to my case.
My first question what should I need to focus on more, is it advertising wherever the location is (of course in my big town) or should I give the station location more attention and pay higher rent to get a location in a rush road.

Hello 🖐 Pan, always at the top in explaining the best method to eliminate the most stubborn dirt.Wash the car is an art, not a pastime on Sunday! You do it with great professionalism !! The electric blower is excellent for not using the chamois cloth to dry the bodywork. But you forgot to dry the interior doors 😁😁😁. The BMW 550 i xdrive is beautiful. A real BMW jewel. 👍 👍

Thanks Johnny! Just keep in mind this is only for super lightly dirty cars and won’t clean 100%. Nothing replaces a true handwash. This is an alternative to quickly get a mostly clean looking car if you just want a quick touchless solution.

Hi Pan, great video as usual. I have a question for you. Would you agree that the results you are getting are because the car is coated? What would be the results on a non-coated car? The reason why I ask is because I use a foam cannon to prewash my SUV which is not coated and after I rinse it I still have dirt on the car. I was wondering if it is due to the quality of the equipment or products I'm using (I'm using a shampoo, not a foam).

A coated car is always easier to wash. Coatings have self-cleaning properties meaning that dirt sticks less and they are easier to wash.

Some foam are advertised to work best on dry surface so that might be something to consider? Door jambs can have some foam left on them, do you dry them also separately? Nice video and car!
It’s also an option if you applied the foam the go over it with a microfiber glove to makes sure u hit everything right? And then Rinse it of.
Hey Pan, can highly recommend a DI Vessel to do your final rinse, no real need to dry if you use this and no water spots. Thanks for the video!
@Reel-Lentless A resin water filter. This basically removes all the calcium carbonate which is what water spots are. Not cheap but do a lot odmf spot free washing.

Have you ever done a video on neglected leather I've tried all kinds of products on mine nothing seems to help I bought this car off Ebay :( it was so neglected leather seats with Alcantara some of the stitching has popped but I'm trying to see if I can soften the leather back up any ideas thanks for all you do take care always.

Content like yours inspires me to become infected with cleanliness OCD. I'm in love with your work Pan. Just a small query, isn't it wise to clean the surface rust in the brake disc by the reversing-forwarding technique before the wash process? That way, the loosened up rust should get washed away with the rinsed shampoo.
You have to wait until you finished your final rinse before doing the brake technique.
My car is also dirty due to rain..your video is very helpfull..i do same steps that you do...hope cleans nice!!

Im getting my m550 soon delivered and i'm willing to do the ceramic coating 3 layers exactly as you showed it in previous video but the problem i don't have a closed garage, only a driveway so what i should do?also how you got these m logo on the side fenders? in the us they don't come with them if you can put the link for those will be appreciated.
You shouldn't attempt applying ceramic coating outdoors. Only needs a gust of wind to blow dust etc on the car while the coating is curing to possibly cause problems. Not to mention rain or bird shit lol. At least use a gazebo and check the weather forecast.

I prepped the garage for the upcoming season. Everything is still inside in boxes. Lots of $. Freezing is bad for our valuable products. Cleaned and organized towels and a few other things. I’m beyond excited to start polishing, detailing again.

I was thinking recently I'd love to do this in winter sometimes because I often think spending all that time cleaning the car for it to then get mucky again quickly due to the state the roads can get in during a British winter is frustrating. I think doing this method would save time, frustration and obviously the paint as well since winter crud puts the paint at more risk of damage. Just need one of those Metrovac Blasters lol.

Hey love your videos! Would you recommend using P&S bead maker in the rinse process or using that for a final detail wipe after this type of wash??…. I have a Chevy suburban that’s been coated with griots 3-1 ceramic wax. I’m trying to limit my wash time as much as possible. I wash 1 once a week
Thanks for the kinds words about my videos. This “touchless” car wash is only for a quick clean of a lightly dusty or slightly dirty car and shouldn’t be followed with any paint protection application as the surface isn’t 100% clean.

Pan, you make detailing easy with your videos. I normally use the blower function on a shop vac to blow away areas where a MF towel cannot remove water that continues to run or drip. Is the shop vac ok, as it would be equal to a leaf blower?

The only thing I do differently is to use my shop-vac in blow-mode to dry my vehicle after the first 3 steps.
Works like a charm and to be honest I didn't even know that you can buy a blower for drying a car.👍

Question! How about quick detail sprays on light dirts, dust and debris? Some of us won’t have washing equipments. Can you do a video about pros and cons of quick detail sprays, thanks. Keep up the great videos!
If you only have a light layer of dust, you can use a quick detail spray. Anything more than that, I'd use a traditional wash with buckets and water. If you don't have equipment, and your car is only "lightly" dirty, you can use waterless or rinseless wash techniques. I have tutorials on both methods.

Interestingly I used to start by pressure washing my car then snow foam as you have done. But I was told I was doing it wrong and I should snow foam first then rise. Would be nice to hear your thought. Cheers and love this video thanks!
Either technique is ok by me. Some like rinsing prior to Foaming, some don’t...

Nice Vid Pan. The only Problem i see with this method is, that you can not remove traficfilm from the paint. But for light dirt or dust its the perfect method.
Exactly. This is for well maintained cars. To remove traffic film, I’d still use a pre-wash with an alkaline cleaner like Purple Power Vehicle and Boat Wash. ;)

I simply use my pressure washer wand to reach the undercarriage once a month. My car is in a heated garage.

This is the type of wash i want to do. I'm too lazy to properly wash and apply protection. I was wanting to use turtle wax wash and wax ceramic but it's not a high sud formula. Do you think using a high sud soap first then going back over it with a low sud wash and wax would still provide that tiny bit of protection? Or probably a waste?

Nice job as always. Sometimes when i do this to remove light dust coating like your car's condition was that afterwards there still seems to be some not easily visible dirt. Especially on places like lower rockers. Notice it if need to touch up dry an area with a towel. This normal with a touchless wash? Also do you use a deionized water setup for rinsing?
If you still see dirt, then you need to move to a traditional wash with buckets and mitts. I have a water softener system plus my water was already soft to begin with. I live in a new housing development and we have great water.

I use this method when it’s just rained and more is expected in during the week. Only downside is the door/trunk jams are still dirty if you do the full non-touch routine.
Yup. It’s a compromise until the next traditional wash with mitts and buckets.

Hi pan can you do a video on how to remove the water spotting like in the example you shown in your video?
You use a water spot remover and if there is etching, only polishing will remove them.

Hi Pan! I am using the exact method as you on my M5! I keep getting water spots. The car has ppf on the entire front,truck, & side skirts! Also ceramic coating on the whole car! I am using Armour all 2 in 1 foam cannon! Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Keep in mind a contactless wash doesn’t fully clean the car. This is just a quick way to remove a light dust layer if you don’t have the time for a proper handwash.
To avoid water spots, there can be several issues causing them. If you have hard water issues and wash outside, you’ll get water spots. A good solution is to have a water deionizer system like I have. Zero water spots as there will be no minerals in the water.
The other solution is to wash the car by hand and use a drying aid immediately after your final rinse and towel dry the surface with a microfiber towel.

I love your videos, always well explained and non biased. Question...I ordered the Karcher K5, but have read that you need special fittings to hook up different foam cannons to there hose?? Could you tell me what I would need to attach one of those small guns, and a variety of foam cannons? I was thinking of a Trinova from your blaster video, but any recommendation for a good cannon match for the Karcher K5 would be greatly appreciated 😁 Thanks and keep em coming...
You need a Karcher K series bayonnet style adapter. Search for those terms on Amazon.
