Your content is great Michael but I think you need to start letting people know that this is for version 27 and not 28 (although should be useful for both). If it ain’t broke don’t fix it but don’t get left behind by constantly producing content for old software versions (maybe focus on both 27 and 28 versions so people can upgrade with you). That said I still love your videos and they have been helpful.
Thanks for the feedback. There is nothing here that doesn’t translate to both. The ui is just a bit different.

Michael, love the videos. For RUclips, I sometimes find that the stream appears to be SD and not HD even with the settings you have enabled above. What would you recommend for making the picture more clear?

My internet supports 30Mb up speeds, so I was "guessing" 10,000?

Great video! I need help with the sound in Second Life. I can't get a great sound when avatars speak. I'm on a MAC and use Caster at your recommendation. I tried Blackhole, but believe Caster is better. I have no problems with streaming to RUclips on a browser with additional web-based browser sound, but there's something about SL that's not working. Any suggestions? Thank you.

I have a 4k monitor and was told that base canvas should be 4k and then output should be 1080p. I'm streaming in 1080p. Is that right?

After that message I lose all data.
I tried the settings in this video. but my kb/s bounces back and fourth between red and yellow anywhere from 800-2000.

My biggest challenge....getting the obs audio monitor piped back into melon...using Linux. Easy peasy in windoze...not so much with any Linux distro.

you said at 30fps you can leave the bitrate at 6000 but what is the recommended bitrate for 1080p60fps ?
youtube accepts a high amount of bitrate. if you have a good upload speed you can turn that up
1080p @60 fps
Resolution: 1920x1080
Video Bitrate Range: 4,500-9,000 Kbps
I mean I got fiber but I stream of 25,000 upload

I gave up on OBS . It records my audio fine, but the picture frames lag big time. I’ve tried several things to fix this but nothing seems to work . I have a simple streaming lab top maybe my computer isn’t right for the program.
Without hardware encoding from a gpu it needs a fairly fast laptop/pc etc.

My viewers let me know that sometimes my Spotify output gets choppy.. maybe like a helicopter? But then it fixes itself in about a minute. I have made sure that everything is set to 48 kHz and nothing sounds wrong on my end. This has been very frustrating and I do not know how to fix.
That tells me the issue is the encoding if it sounds fine to you.
your e lvls are a bit low on this understandable , but still thank you for brain points
