For everyone stuck on 50% like me and feel like necking urself… I fixed mine after having the same issues, I just turned the console off again, then did the steps to get me back to the troubleshoot menu (hold bind and eject then press power button) then I went back and pressed the reset again and it worked
Mine won’t troubleshoot at all all of a sudden. I’ve been dealing with black screen and all this bull at least once a month and this time I can’t even reset it bc it’s go back to system error screen immediately after it “restarts” to start the restoring console process.
What do I do if my xbox just won't turn off unless I force it to power off by unplugging the power cord? Edit: My problem is that it gets stuck at 51% then freezes.

Hey, I tried the restore to default factory settings but when I click remove everything, I hear the start up sound when you turn on your Xbox and my controller turns off but nothing happens and it just stays on the troubleshooting menu. And then after 30 seconds of waiting my TV goes black. then it Says no signal. I tried every option on the troubleshooting menu and nothing works.

That's crazy. Mine is *really* fucked up lol. I'll hold down all 3 and it only beeps once just to act like it's turning on and it turns right back off. That is the problem currently, turn it on and it turns right back off. Might take it apart tomorrow and check it out. Maybe just needs a cleaning? 🤞
My issue(and I can't find an answer anywhere) is my one x keeps saying it needs an update. I start the update, it goes through the download, finishes the verification process and then when it gets to the "xbox must restart" phase, it shuts off and doesn't restart. When I restart it, it just goes right back to the need update screen(won't even give me the work offline option)

Dajon Reed this happens to me.. just play with the console... hold it down for like 30 seconds or so then just let the Xbox sit. Check on it in 10-20 minutes and it might be on the trouble shoot page. That’s what mine does
@@jasonbuben7787 It worked for me just as you said. Let it there with the Flash Drive stuff in it, for around 20 minutes. And I noticed the screen "reacted". When I turned the controller on, it restarted and the main page with the starting update request loaded. Finally working.

@@huriayya I only had to wait 5 min but it broke again I was gonna sit there and let it update I left and somebody cut my game off or it cut off by it self I’m just done I might have to just take it to the shop
I think I accidentally did this and I don't know how to go back to the profile line up were u just pick the profile u want to use and the play on it and I am Freaking out bc I think I just lost everything
@@ianwilsonssilverstack1981 if done correctly you only want to delete profile. keep games and apps. sign in to as the person you want. I'm not sure about the rest as I only have my one profile but hope this helps
Hi what if you did an offline update and the update is completed your box then does an automatic reset. But then for an final update it shows download fail error 0x80070570
So you actually have to press “reset” on screen to do a hard reset? Wtf? My xbox doesnt turn on long enough before it shuts itself down 5-10 secs after starting up.
@@TheKANTUS101 thats what i thought but i cant figure a way to fix it. Ive opened it, cleaned it, tried unplugging the components inside and plugging them back in, etc. It still keeps happening. I think its officially bricked now and I got to wait until I get enough money for a series X. I never expected this to happen, and was intending to get a series X at the fall of 2021 but without an xbox now, i’m gonna have to find a way to get one asap
@@TheMoistDonuts the one thing to really change out is the thermal paste on the main chip. It seems from what I’ve research is the paste is bad on a lot of the one x consoles. I’m dealing with the error bullshit on and Xbox one x that was given to me and it’s the most frustrating Shit ever.

This is probably because you have a corrupt hard drive so you have to get it repaired

Does this remove saved progress from games on my account?
If anything on your console was not synchronized with your xbox live account (microsoft servers) than they are lost.
