Love love love this cage !!!! Absolutely beautiful.. the only think I would have done just a little different would be to cover the dust bath pan like maybe with some more bedding so the gray didn’t show. I love this so natural and looks like your little ham is going to love it !!! Thank you for the inspiration 💖💙
you must have a natural talent when setting up your hamster enclosures as this has turned out amazing , and so enriching too . my set ups look so regimented and not at all like a natural scene like yours and other youtubers too . lol.
The cage looks amazing! 🥰 how did you find out your hamster had health problems? My hamster’s quite light but he eats everything he’s given. I was just wondering if there were any signs :) Thank you
So Aspynn has something called Brachycephelic syndrome. I didn't notice anything at first. But people on Facebook groups started saying how his face shape is different (more flat and pushed in almost). He had never been a good eater but I just thought he was fussy. But he has very brittle teeth and gets them checked regularly. The vets diagnosed him. If your concerned definitely get him checked over. What Aspynn has is very rare, and if he eats everything then it definitely not the same ☺
Honestly I always feel like my Dwarf cages are better haha 😂 I think because Syrian items have to be bigger they take up more room and the cage doesn't look as full. But it's okay if that happens because Syrians will need larger spaces to move around in. I usually fill any gaps with forage or sprays 🥰
How did the hamster enjoy the enclosure? This looks like a 40 gallon tank to me. Did they enjoy the size? Thinking of doing a tank setup too but I am curious about a solution for lids. Do you just leave enough height that they can't reach to get out?
I don't actually have this tank anymore as it's wasn't big enough for my hamster. 40 gallon usually isn't enough for them. No I made a lid for all my Tanks. Its essentially to have one, hamsters are escape artists! 😅 and they also need as much bedding as you can possibly fit in there!
Saskia i think you r amazing sooo Wonderfull you do a good job they r sooo well cared for in your care. god bless xx

Its awesome! But wouldn't thr sand bath sink if he burrowed under? And where do you get the little stilts
The sand bath was put on stilts so it doesn’t fall. Stilts are from Amazon
Another amazing set up 😍👏🏻 what kind of hay is it that you use? 💖
Thank you! I usually use Orchard grass hay, but I haven't been able to get hold of any so I'm currently using Meadow Hay 🥰

Chipsi Woodshavings and Fitch are the main ones, but the rest are listed in the description
We’re do you get good bedding?
Where did you get that water dish? Anyone know?!
It's from IKEA! It's a tealight holder !
@@theacrewhamsters9266 thanks!!
I love the look of glass tanks but I'm worried about the weight at those sizes... do you find it hard to move your tanks around?
I have them on a platform with wheels so they are easy to move. You can find them in like hardware or DIY stores 😊
