At least Sylvanas was properly punished...at first one could think she got off to easy, but just think abaut it, 2 expansions later she is still doing daliys in The Maw...and she will be doing these for basicly eternity
The varian theme playing when he dives from the airship gave me goosebumps. 10/10
When the theme plays in the lighthouse just faintly when they go to cleanse the flames it did get me a little 🥲

i love the expression on anduin's face when he sees his body enveloped by the light. the look of suprise and happyness in his eyes. like a child who lost a gift but found it after a time of looking for it
i love that whole cinematic! I have only checked the story on nobbels channel so not sure how it goes, but i do hope she gets to be queen of stormwind someday xD

It was dumb, he just comes back lmao
And Alleria doing her sister Sylvanas on the rope of the airship. And the music, this as very much a Dad move.
I kinda think that was a suicide attempt. There's no way he expected to survive there. Anduin was trying to be like his dad, but only after that he realized he had to become his own person.

@@Goshified Yeah i agree. Anduin was desperate to find some way to "atone" for his sins. Somehow he thought if he lived up to his fathers legacy he might do so.
Those are some mighty big hands you have there Anduin.
Definitely my least favorite zone main story wise but the side quests are so good
I appreciate that Anduin admitted that his 'sacrifice' was half baked and not needed and that he was just desperate to trigger a response from The Light
Faerin is cool but everytime she talked to Anduin about his faith I couldn't stop thinking "Velen should've been talking to Anduin about a crisis of faith instead." Now we're two expansions where Anduin's prime mentors/support figures aren't around to help him for no good reason
We had the Garrosh the candle king in the ringing deeps. And now we have Nathanos returning as Aelric Leid.
Actually, I'm fairly certain the candle king was voiced by the same guy who voiced Gallywix and N'zoth.

I've finally finished up all the side quests and the max level campaign, so it feels good to watch these without spoiling the story for myself

I like Faerin a lot as a beacon of hope for Anduin. I hope she gets more screen time. Mayhaps even the start of a romance with the King of Stormwind

Does anyone know this? But I was under the impression that someone that uses the light. Cant touch someone who uses that void/shadow? Right? Like in the "A Thousand Years of War" story. So how come they both can grab eachothers hands here?!? 17:43
Only if they’re infused/transformed. Turalyon is by all means a Lightforged Human. And Alleria is the equivalent of that but Voidforged. They’re essentially at all times Light and Void beings respectively and that’s why they can’t touch each other. A normal Paladin or a normal Shadow Priest just wields the light/void when they want/need to.

Idk maybe I'm the only one who thought so but I assumed their star was the tip of the sword of sargeras? It looks like it, is cracked around it just like in silithas, and Thrall even says the sword was aimed at something... idk I thought it was fact but no one else is talking about it 🤣
I thought so too when I first saw it, but It existed long before sargeras stabbed the planet though.
The first time the crystal ever turned dark was the day sargeras stabbed Azeroth
cause the npcs talked about the crystal beeing there for longer than legion. so that is debunked. When sagars did the stabby, it was the first time it went void tho.
Honestly, the fact that so many people still hates Anduin and takes light on his trauma is really annoying. This is what's called a 3D character, with personality and depths, it's what makes him more interesting then Varian who, yes was an absolute badass chad warrior, but that was all he was. Anduin has layers to his character. Seriously, people hating him don't seem to appreciate this and just want a mindless fighter. Probably why Garrosh was so popular with people.
Have y'all noticed that the wallpaper art the characters have their colors dulled and some are just grey
Yeah. I also feel like they colour graded this in game during the last sequence of the main max lvl campaign in the dark.
Amongst all the praiseworthy parts of this game, it’s the colour palette.

To think it took quick re-spec to DK, and then to Warrior to go from Crydoin to Manduin ... a prime exapme why noone likes paladin players!

Has anyone else noticed how the entirety of every main storyline in WoW has always been about one of the NPC characters, and we've just kinda... been there on the side lines?
Not that it's a bad thing, just thought it was something interesting about the way the Devs have seemed to always design the game, like it's always been one long movie that the viewer gets to watch from a first person perspective(essentially). Cause let's be real, not a single Player Character has any backstory from before we first create them, which is especially apparent in both the Death Knight and Demon Hunter characters (though DKs did it before it was cool lol).
As an Alliance player, I hope we come out of this with Faerin as Queen of Stormwind.

Knowing current-day Blizzard, I fully expect them to want to set that up and I hate it.

@@nehriim3748 Probably because she's not a character, she's a blatant vehicle for THE MESSAGE to appease shareholders and narcissists. Anduin himself also claims to be king no longer, so it wouldn't work anyway unless Blizzard goes "It was just his self-doubt, you guys!" which I definitely anticipate.

Just more games or media doing the shipping characters thing to create a parasocial bond and boom you have an army of defenders ready to defend lukewarm writing.
Shame Shadowlands is the source because I'm going to skip over it every time. Trash story, trash expansion and best left dead.
