That palm print on the phone may actually not have been from the zodiac. He may have worn gloves and handled the phone receiver with two fingers. Just a thought.
Why isn't it possible that the "Zodiac Killer" is more than one person? It seems possible to me it's a group of like-minded suspects, a club if you will. This would explain why a single piece of evidence rules out some individuals who would otherwise be strong candidates. Hand-writing changes, etc. It's possible.
Yes and the reason some of the descriptions from the Victims are different. Of course if it was one person he could have changed his hair but he couldn't have gotten taller.
The scariest part of listening to this is how many people in the right area fit the psychotic profile of this particular killer. It's sort of specific and unique, but there were too many men that sounded like they could be a fit. Terrifying!

Maybe his thought process was not so brutal though he just did what he could in the moment and still stabbed them but wanted to get it over quick and was not paying attention good. I don't know. Cleo Smith is a 4 year old girl who was taken from her parents tent at a campsite in Western Australia. She was missing for about 16 days and was just FOUND today is a locked room in a house. We are still to be provided with more info about this person and what happened but would love for you to cover it when it all come out as lots of people pointed the finger at her parents. Also for her to still be alive after 16 days is a miracle.
Seconding this, sounds like it will end up being an interesting case given how unusual the circumstances are. I'm just so glad that found Cleo alive and well!
yep I live In Australia and it was really creepy , the family went 2hrs away camping Cleo got taken out of her tent and was found 17 days later in teh home of a creepy dude with a house full of Bratz dolls (creepy aus dolls) and there was a woman involved, it seems he was trying to make her his child as he was caring for her and she was physically ok, really strange , we are all intrigued here and deeply concerned, but you guys in the USA get some hectic true crimes.
I don’t think it’s fair to say she shouldn’t cover ones that have made headlines.... I’ve not heard about Cleo at all, as I live in the US. Also if not for her story I wouldn’t have known much at all about Gabby. I refuse to get information from normal news outlets, and some people like myself wouldn’t know anything about even big cases if it wasn’t for these videos. So not everyone feels the same ☺️
It bothers me that so much emphasis is placed on the handwriting, especially when suspects are ruled out because of it. Hell, my handwriting looks drastically different depending on what type of pen I’m using or what mood I’m in. If I was being intentional I could easily knock out several letters in completely different handwriting styles. I can’t be the only one…
I'm annoyed by the fact that they ruled out people based on that palm print. For all you know it could have been someone else's. That's a public phone booth, how do you know no one used it after him? Or before him?

Right! He could’ve worn gloves, he could’ve used tape to remove and place any prints he wanted to. He was clearly intelligent, I wouldn’t put it past him to know how to not leave his prints on a phone 😂
Prints are always finicky, especially on publicly used objects. At least once I've been at a workplace that uses fingerprints for clocking in and out, and two people had prints that were close enough that it messed with the time clock and it would clock eachother in/out.

As an ambidextrous person also as a person who does not have a stable handwriting for each hand, I don’t understand how the police would put handwriting as a basis to clear a serial killer.
Forensic linguistics is pretty in-depth. There are little tells even if you try to change your handwriting. Even things like putting a little more pressure on the pen at the end of a letter etc
There is too much stock put into this I agree. Peoples handwriting is going to look very similar in certain cases as there are many people who know how to write english and the letters are supposed to look the same all the times ideologically. It is not going to tell you who Zodiac is basically.

What's actually fucked up is that he has a considerable internet footprint. You can Google his reviews on music, and he did quite a few on other serial killer movies..... He admits to stuff rather casually too.

@O G it just seems so unlikely that SO many people were such viable suspects. Plus, so many things were just slightly different with some of the murders, that it seems like different people carried them out. I personally don’t believe in coincidences, and also don’t discount the ability for evil humans to keep quiet when in their best interest. I mean, for example: look at the human trafficking and child pornography trades; countless people are involved not only all over our country, but all over the world. And, yet we’re still so ignorant regarding how/when/where etc.
Agree, there's so much conflicting evidence. But I think it's just as likely they didn't know each other or most if there were many didn't. That area is crawling with several creeps committing unrelated crimes well through out the 80's.

I still believe the zodiac wasn't acting alone and that multiple suspects can all be the zodiac. But I might be to stuck on an idea too. Just seems so weird to have so much on a suspect and throw it all out because the writing didn't match. He could have made someone else write the letters.
I strongly believe that the Zodiac killer wasn't one man. One started it, possibly did the two - three couples murders. I think Arthur Leigh Allen is a very strong candidate, I think he had the original idea, possibly commited some of the first crfimes and then someone else, either an unknown copycut or someone they knew who worked with them, continued the crimes with the same or similar MO (the taxi driver was too different), different handwriting etc while Allen was in jail. Possibly even more men.
I don't think he was intelligent enough to do the cipher's. He is trying to incriminate himself intentionally to gain notoriety it seems. It is unusual to do this but makes sense if you have nothing to lose.

The thing with most murders is that they are executed by one person with sinister thoughts/emotions. I doubt it was many men. I still have my bet on Arthur Leigh Allen even though there were not enough physical evidence and it was all circumstantial.
The amount of circumstancial evidence with the other suspects just doesn't sit well with me. What if we are not just looking for one Zodiac killer, but many? Idk...

The Cecilia and Bryan story still haunts me after reading about it, too. I first heard about it years ago. The fact that he had to watch her being killed and, and he said he was watching her try to roll around and that she tried to crawl away but that she was in so much pain. It is so sad.
I love how professional you are at doing these. A lot of the people who do them it feels like they're not doing them respectfully and they treat true crime almost as gossip or "drama". It can be uncomfortable to watch.

Honestly I believe the Zodiac was some kind of cult and that multiple people the police had talk to were apart of it. It would defiantly explain the different hand writing/signatures, multiple killing methods, and why not all of the victims were connected. It could have been more personal to each killer. Maybe not but just my thought process on the Zodiac 🤷🏻♀️
About a year ago I watched a documentary on a Netflix where a reporter during the time of the son of Sam murders actually believed there was more than one killer and also thought an occult was involved. But this reporter was the only one that was ever granted permission by the murderer to interview him while he is in prison and he was supposed to confirm the reporters suspicions it was very interesting
I was kinda thinking something similar! like I really have to wonder if multiple people were involved, I think it could explain some of the inconsistencies, like you mentioned
i find it interesting how from his confirmed killings, the victims were always super young couples with the exclusion of the last confirmed killing and the man always survived and the woman passed away. i agree with kendall in that i hate how sensationalized these cases have become, i think it dehumanizes the victims and their experiences and makes it more of a game.
David faraday and Betty Lou Jensen both were killed. They are the lake Herman road murders. They are considered the “first “ couple but keep in mind many believe the first murders started down in So Cal.
I have always thought this case was so interesting. That the killer was able to do so much damage yet remain anonymous. So I clicked so fast! Plus Kendall's videos are always so informative.
This case, the Jon Benet Ramsey, and the Eastbound strangler in NJ have been on my top of the list to see solved at least in my lifetime. This is all very interesting.
The guy is on some next level of deep where he can get stabbed 10 times, watch his girlfriend murdered and then from the hospital bed say when a man is sick you can't hold it against him.

I always thought the Zodiac "Killer" was just a group of different people, while one person attempted the "murders."That would explain the handwriting not matching, and the fingerprints not being the same.
I feel like the police should have tested his DNA just to see, but honestly, there isn't enough proof with the evidence brought forward without the DNA being tested. I hope it does get solved because the victims still need justice even YEARS later.

It took 20+ years for the police even find out who BTK, the Golden State Killer, and the Green River Killer was they could eventually find out who the Zodiac Killer is even after 50+ years but sadly judging the Zodiac killers age in 2021 he would either be over 80+ years old or dead which would be sad only because their families won't get any justice 😞
@@CosmicSirenMandi I know, maybe he was (in his 20's) or maybe even younger who knows. Certain evidence suggests a younger perp like the amount of jest in the letters, it shows slight immaturity that is something a full adult probably would not write.

I did not hear anything concrete to tie Gary Poste to the Zodiac killer. Showing someone how to fire a weapon or abusive or violent behavior hardly is the nail. I hope they solve it so families could get their closure. It's crazy that it's yet to be solved. Thanks again for your consideration when covering these cases.
I’m convinced that the zodiac killer are multiple people that took turns during the active years. Different roles (i.e. writing the notes, attacking with and without disguises, the codes). So many people that fit the description to the t, except for one thing that can rule them out. I d see int think we’ll ever find their identity. 🤷🏾♀️ Great breakdown as always Kendall!
The Zodiac case is always so frustrating to me! It always drove me crazy how there were so many suspects that fit the profile so well, yet there was never enough evidence or something ruled them out!
One thing about this guy seems to him apart . In one of the cyphers , he mentions hunting .. and how hunting man is more fun .. and the most dangerous animal . Poste was obviously a big .. hunter and mountain man . Something other's like Kayne , Sullivan , and other's never seemed to be . Combine this with the fact he liked to set traps , and to watch the animals get caught in them , and tortured for amusement . It's chilling how much that personality resembles Zodiac ., as he enjoyed killing and felt nothing . The same type of personality Poste seemed to have watching the animals suffer for fun .
Honestly, the fact that all of the suspects fit so well proves to me that they might’ve all been committing murders. Maybe not all of them were the Zodiac, or maybe all of them were, but they definitely all give me the creeps. IMO there was more than one killer
No? There's always something that rules out a suspect. There is no reason to think Z was more than 1 guy. Since we know the murderer is the same person as the one who writes the letters, and we KNOW that's the same person, there's no reason to think it's more than 1 person. He was a lucky bastard who got away and tricked the police with his misleading clues.
The lake scene where he came out from behind the bushes wearing an executioner mask is just so frighting. I can't imagine how the two victims felt seeing him close.
IMHO Even for people familiar with the story this particular breakdown is so well done it's worth watching as a refresher...there is just sooo much to the story and the potential suspects identified over the years.

What's wild to me is how many people seem to have direct ties to the killings, or have been pointed out in lineups, I always thought it was just one person. But geez...with all these theories and these direct ties it's hard to say But at the same time it is strange all these different people... but there was only person at each killing, and there isn't enough victims/cases to put one to each suspect, if that makes sense. This is absolutely crazy, I LIVE IN GROVELAND!! My grandparents have lived in Groveland, CA for over 60 years. I grew up with my grandma saying she always thought she knew who the zodiac killer was and would tell me stories about Gary Poste and the zodiac killer all the time. Then come to find out she was right this entire time about Gary Poste! This is so scary! My grandpa was friends with him at one point since Groveland is such a small town, my mind is truly shocked!! They have details about him & his life that could be useful. Please let me know who I can have them reach out to so they can share their information on him!
Could have been very possible. The boy's reaction is very much possible cause of huge trauma but the police officers? And the reporters? I was mostly talking about them

Kendall pleaseee do a video on the Mr Cruel of Australia case! It sadly remains unsolved till this day, but since it happened in the eighties there are strong chances that the perpetrator may still be alive and get punished for what he did to all of those poor children. I feel like with the right coverage, more people will grow interested in it.

I read Zodiac too, almost all of what is said about Allen in this case has been true of others in relations to murderers, and they are never the killer. it's like the red herring at the beginning of every single episode of Forensic Files that has so much against them, but it's never them.

Why haven't they tested the DNA they found in the Sherry Jo Bates case just in the interest of (oh IDK) SOLVING THAT CASE? Run that DNA and put it in a data base and hopefully it'll match somebody. Maybe it'll help solve another cold case or two and that would be wonderful. Even if it has nothing to do with Zodiac at all, it could still be useful.
Ross Sullivan was the lead suspect; however, Riverside PD never had enough to charge him. There was a five-part show on History that went over the DNA on her pants, but they never followed up on it by the end of the series.
So scary. I grew up in Lake Tahoe and remembered when I heard that one of his victims was from there scared me EVEN MORE. I was still living there at the time. Lacy DuGuard caught the school bus not far from where I did as a kid too. The Zodiac Killer hadn’t been identified which means he could have been roaming around there or come back. Terrified me.. 😫
This is totally and assumption but I think the Zodiac had people working under him. I wonder if any of the past “suspects” have any connections or somehow knew each other. That one guy trying to recruit a coworker to help in murders makes sense to me... how could you ever truly be found if there’s more than one of you? Also different suspects were identified as the Zodiac by many eye-witnesses... That just seems odd to me.
Wow interesting, never heard or thought of this theory before. However, I feel like something would've been leaked by now if there were that many people in on it and working under him. More people knowing = more room for mistakes/leaks.
YES! The circumstantial evidences pointing towards these suspects definitely makes me suspect that they must've had some connections with one another! Maybe the authorities should switch an angle and investigate the suspects althogether instead of ruling them out one at a time.
My mom and aunt were growing up in Modesto at the time of the murders, so this has been a big case to them since it was so local to them. They still are convinced it was Arthur Lee Allen
fun fact: my great nana, at the time, was the president of the handwriting analysis in California. she worked on the zodiac killer and helped investigating on the hillside strangler and other cases. she pasted in december 2020 but my family says her true crime spirit lives in me

I wonder, if there was a magazine with people writing murder stories that are similar to the real life murders, could have the authors been working together ? Or maybe many killers assuming the same alias for convenience/acknowledgement. Would explain the different fingerprints/handwriting/aliases and the fact that Aurthur was the zodiac part of the identity, then there was the red phantom and then z. The young man that wrote the violent poem at the library and then left after being accused and died a few years later, I wonder what happened there? I have been researching this case since I was younger but I never seen anyone fully explain why this isn’t possible. Or why Aurthur had the bloody knife and clothes, they didn’t dig into that deep enough. If his friends were there to eat the chicken they bbq’d then wouldn’t they be able to clarify ? I feel like there are so many holes in this story , it’s always frustrated me 😩

Why isn't it possible that the "Zodiac Killer" is more than one person? It seems possible to me it's a group of like-minded suspects, a club if you will. This would explain why a single piece of evidence rules out some individuals who would otherwise be strong candidates. Hand-writing changes, etc. It's possible.

The scariest part of listening to this is how many people in the right area fit the psychotic profile of this particular killer. It's sort of specific and unique, but there were too many men that sounded like they could be a fit. Terrifying!

Cleo Smith is a 4 year old girl who was taken from her parents tent at a campsite in Western Australia. She was missing for about 16 days and was just FOUND today is a locked room in a house. We are still to be provided with more info about this person and what happened but would love for you to cover it when it all come out as lots of people pointed the finger at her parents. Also for her to still be alive after 16 days is a miracle.
Seconding this, sounds like it will end up being an interesting case given how unusual the circumstances are. I'm just so glad that found Cleo alive and well!

yep I live In Australia and it was really creepy , the family went 2hrs away camping Cleo got taken out of her tent and was found 17 days later in teh home of a creepy dude with a house full of Bratz dolls (creepy aus dolls) and there was a woman involved, it seems he was trying to make her his child as he was caring for her and she was physically ok, really strange , we are all intrigued here and deeply concerned, but you guys in the USA get some hectic true crimes.
I don’t think it’s fair to say she shouldn’t cover ones that have made headlines.... I’ve not heard about Cleo at all, as I live in the US. Also if not for her story I wouldn’t have known much at all about Gabby. I refuse to get information from normal news outlets, and some people like myself wouldn’t know anything about even big cases if it wasn’t for these videos. So not everyone feels the same ☺️
It bothers me that so much emphasis is placed on the handwriting, especially when suspects are ruled out because of it. Hell, my handwriting looks drastically different depending on what type of pen I’m using or what mood I’m in. If I was being intentional I could easily knock out several letters in completely different handwriting styles. I can’t be the only one…

Prints are always finicky, especially on publicly used objects. At least once I've been at a workplace that uses fingerprints for clocking in and out, and two people had prints that were close enough that it messed with the time clock and it would clock eachother in/out.

As an ambidextrous person also as a person who does not have a stable handwriting for each hand, I don’t understand how the police would put handwriting as a basis to clear a serial killer.
Forensic linguistics is pretty in-depth. There are little tells even if you try to change your handwriting. Even things like putting a little more pressure on the pen at the end of a letter etc

There is too much stock put into this I agree. Peoples handwriting is going to look very similar in certain cases as there are many people who know how to write english and the letters are supposed to look the same all the times ideologically. It is not going to tell you who Zodiac is basically.

Plus, so many things were just slightly different with some of the murders, that it seems like different people carried them out. I personally don’t believe in coincidences, and also don’t discount the ability for evil humans to keep quiet when in their best interest.
I mean, for example: look at the human trafficking and child pornography trades; countless people are involved not only all over our country, but all over the world. And, yet we’re still so ignorant regarding how/when/where etc.
Agree, there's so much conflicting evidence. But I think it's just as likely they didn't know each other or most if there were many didn't. That area is crawling with several creeps committing unrelated crimes well through out the 80's.

I strongly believe that the Zodiac killer wasn't one man. One started it, possibly did the two - three couples murders. I think Arthur Leigh Allen is a very strong candidate, I think he had the original idea, possibly commited some of the first crfimes and then someone else, either an unknown copycut or someone they knew who worked with them, continued the crimes with the same or similar MO (the taxi driver was too different), different handwriting etc while Allen was in jail. Possibly even more men.
I don't think he was intelligent enough to do the cipher's. He is trying to incriminate himself intentionally to gain notoriety it seems. It is unusual to do this but makes sense if you have nothing to lose.
Imagine it was a secret society of weirdos that committed different crimes in different states and MOs...that would really throw the police off

The Cecilia and Bryan story still haunts me after reading about it, too. I first heard about it years ago. The fact that he had to watch her being killed and, and he said he was watching her try to roll around and that she tried to crawl away but that she was in so much pain. It is so sad.
I love how professional you are at doing these. A lot of the people who do them it feels like they're not doing them respectfully and they treat true crime almost as gossip or "drama". It can be uncomfortable to watch.

It would defiantly explain the different hand writing/signatures, multiple killing methods, and why not all of the victims were connected. It could have been more personal to each killer. About a year ago I watched a documentary on a Netflix where a reporter during the time of the son of Sam murders actually believed there was more than one killer and also thought an occult was involved. But this reporter was the only one that was ever granted permission by the murderer to interview him while he is in prison and he was supposed to confirm the reporters suspicions it was very interesting

i find it interesting how from his confirmed killings, the victims were always super young couples with the exclusion of the last confirmed killing and the man always survived and the woman passed away. i agree with kendall in that i hate how sensationalized these cases have become, i think it dehumanizes the victims and their experiences and makes it more of a game.
David faraday and Betty Lou Jensen both were killed. They are the lake Herman road murders. They are considered the “first “ couple but keep in mind many believe the first murders started down in So Cal.
I have always thought this case was so interesting. That the killer was able to do so much damage yet remain anonymous. So I clicked so fast! Plus Kendall's videos are always so informative.
Hard to believe in this day where DNA is so advanced now, it's still unsolved.
This case, the Jon Benet Ramsey, and the Eastbound strangler in NJ have been on my top of the list to see solved at least in my lifetime. This is all very interesting.

I always thought the Zodiac "Killer" was just a group of different people, while one person attempted the "murders."That would explain the handwriting not matching, and the fingerprints not being the same.
I feel like the police should have tested his DNA just to see, but honestly, there isn't enough proof with the evidence brought forward without the DNA being tested. I hope it does get solved because the victims still need justice even YEARS later.

It took 20+ years for the police even find out who BTK, the Golden State Killer, and the Green River Killer was they could eventually find out who the Zodiac Killer is even after 50+ years but sadly judging the Zodiac killers age in 2021 he would either be over 80+ years old or dead which would be sad only because their families won't get any justice 😞

I’ve always appreciated how dedicated, sensitive and professional You are when it comes to speaking about these cases, Kendall. I know we all enjoy a true crime story, finding justice, learning how to be on alert etc. some you tubers have a different approach, and though I still watch them, I find your videos to be my favorite. You can tell that you actually put your heart and soul into this, you do updates, you continue to speak with some of them and allow their family to speak.

I did not hear anything concrete to tie Gary Poste to the Zodiac killer. Showing someone how to fire a weapon or abusive or violent behavior hardly is the nail. I hope they solve it so families could get their closure. It's crazy that it's yet to be solved. Thanks again for your consideration when covering these cases.

I’m convinced that the zodiac killer are multiple people that took turns during the active years. Different roles (i.e. writing the notes, attacking with and without disguises, the codes). Poste was obviously a big .. hunter and mountain man . Something other's like Kayne , Sullivan , and other's never seemed to be . Combine this with the fact he liked to set traps , and to watch the animals get caught in them , and tortured for amusement . It's chilling how much that personality resembles Zodiac ., as he enjoyed killing and felt nothing . The same type of personality Poste seemed to have watching the animals suffer for fun .
Honestly, the fact that all of the suspects fit so well proves to me that they might’ve all been committing murders. Maybe not all of them were the Zodiac, or maybe all of them were, but they definitely all give me the creeps. IMO there was more than one killer

No? There's always something that rules out a suspect. There is no reason to think Z was more than 1 guy. Since we know the murderer is the same person as the one who writes the letters, and we KNOW that's the same person, there's no reason to think it's more than 1 person. He was a lucky bastard who got away and tricked the police with his misleading clues.
The lake scene where he came out from behind the bushes wearing an executioner mask is just so frighting. I can't imagine how the two victims felt seeing him close.
IMHO Even for people familiar with the story this particular breakdown is so well done it's worth watching as a refresher...there is just sooo much to the story and the potential suspects identified over the years.

What's wild to me is how many people seem to have direct ties to the killings, or have been pointed out in lineups, I always thought it was just one person. But geez...with all these theories and these direct ties it's hard to say
But at the same time it is strange all these different people... but there was only person at each killing, and there isn't enough victims/cases to put one to each suspect, if that makes sense.

Only a solid dna match - like with Golden State - will convince me. However- Gary Poste doesn’t look really strong for it IMO.
And idk but i dont think the zodiac was dumb enough to leave behind fingerprints and dna so i dont believe it will ever be solved

With all of this evidence and even DNA, I dont understand how the heck this hasn't been solved. I am also beginning to wonder if the Zodiac was at least 2 different people.
I love the random uploads rather than the “set” uploads because your videos are the most informative (and I watch a lot of podcasts/videos over cases) so it is always worth the wait and gives it more excitement to listen/watch when I see a random upload!

This is absolutely crazy, I LIVE IN GROVELAND!! My grandparents have lived in Groveland, CA for over 60 years. I grew up with my grandma saying she always thought she knew who the zodiac killer was and would tell me stories about Gary Poste and the zodiac killer all the time. Then come to find out she was right this entire time about Gary Poste! This is so scary! My grandpa was friends with him at one point since Groveland is such a small town, my mind is truly shocked!! They have details about him & his life that could be useful. Please let me know who I can have them reach out to so they can share their information on him!

Kendall pleaseee do a video on the Mr Cruel of Australia case! It sadly remains unsolved till this day, but since it happened in the eighties there are strong chances that the perpetrator may still be alive and get punished for what he did to all of those poor children. I feel like with the right coverage, more people will grow interested in it.

I read Zodiac too, almost all of what is said about Allen in this case has been true of others in relations to murderers, and they are never the killer. it's like the red herring at the beginning of every single episode of Forensic Files that has so much against them, but it's never them.

Why haven't they tested the DNA they found in the Sherry Jo Bates case just in the interest of (oh IDK) SOLVING THAT CASE? Run that DNA and put it in a data base and hopefully it'll match somebody. Maybe it'll help solve another cold case or two and that would be wonderful. Even if it has nothing to do with Zodiac at all, it could still be useful.

There was a five-part show on History that went over the DNA on her pants, but they never followed up on it by the end of the series.
So scary. I grew up in Lake Tahoe and remembered when I heard that one of his victims was from there scared me EVEN MORE. I was still living there at the time. Lacy DuGuard caught the school bus not far from where I did as a kid too. The Zodiac Killer hadn’t been identified which means he could have been roaming around there or come back. Terrified me.. 😫

This is totally and assumption but I think the Zodiac had people working under him. I wonder if any of the past “suspects” have any connections or somehow knew each other. That one guy trying to recruit a coworker to help in murders makes sense to me... how could you ever truly be found if there’s more than one of you? Also different suspects were identified as the Zodiac by many eye-witnesses... That just seems odd to me.
Wow interesting, never heard or thought of this theory before. However, I feel like something would've been leaked by now if there were that many people in on it and working under him. More people knowing = more room for mistakes/leaks.

YES! The circumstantial evidences pointing towards these suspects definitely makes me suspect that they must've had some connections with one another! Maybe the authorities should switch an angle and investigate the suspects althogether instead of ruling them out one at a time.
My mom and aunt were growing up in Modesto at the time of the murders, so this has been a big case to them since it was so local to them. They still are convinced it was Arthur Lee Allen
fun fact: my great nana, at the time, was the president of the handwriting analysis in California. she worked on the zodiac killer and helped investigating on the hillside strangler and other cases. she pasted in december 2020 but my family says her true crime spirit lives in me

I wonder, if there was a magazine with people writing murder stories that are similar to the real life murders, could have the authors been working together ? Or maybe many killers assuming the same alias for convenience/acknowledgement. Would explain the different fingerprints/handwriting/aliases and the fact that Aurthur was the zodiac part of the identity, then there was the red phantom and then z. The young man that wrote the violent poem at the library and then left after being accused and died a few years later, I wonder what happened there? I have been researching this case since I was younger but I never seen anyone fully explain why this isn’t possible. Or why Aurthur had the bloody knife and clothes, they didn’t dig into that deep enough. If his friends were there to eat the chicken they bbq’d then wouldn’t they be able to clarify ? I feel like there are so many holes in this story , it’s always frustrated me 😩
