Exciting updates! Since we launched this collaboration the GoFundMe raised $59,000!!! Also the GFM for Gracie’s freedom raised about $15,000 since this went up. Huge thank you to you guys. I also made a donation to them privately. Also, Brian Entin from News Nation reached out to me and Angie! Cannot thank you all enough for being active true crime consumers, this is what it’s all about!

Unless she meets another diamond of guy, everyone will always be compared to Grant. That young man would have been an amazing husband and father. There’s actually a class action suit against the school in the works right now, apparently they’ve had several cases of abuse covered ups :/ Absolutely abhorrent.
As for this case specifically, because Gracie’s experiences have never been validated in court, I believe it would be very difficult to legally prove the school had anything to report at all, unfortunately. If she wins this suit against her father though, definitely the school needs to be next up on the docket.

@@Marlodrama Even if Gracie was making up the whole thing, it doesn't matter, the school district was still required to report it so that it could be looked into by law enforcement. Also, in civil cases, the standard of evidence is much lower than in criminal cases. In criminal cases, the prosecution has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt (99% sure) that the defendant did what were accused of. In civil cases, the plaintiff has to prove that it's more likely than not (51% sure) that the defendant did what they are accused of (in this case not reporting allegations of sexual abuse). I think that if Gracie sued the school district she would win

This case is so triggering becaus my father is controlling he's not as nearly as bad as their father by far but he was very controlling. Grant stood up for his family and so did his mother and even Gracie but Grant literally died at the hands of a malignant narcissist. Anyone that has seen this and or has been through it and been with a toxic person knows it. Makes me so mad. One of the worst cases I know and the church does nothing either because they are able to keep all their secrets but isn't it funny how if you report that you have hurt someone like hit them they have to report it? This is exactly why I do not go to the counselors at church and have actually left the church. Things in the churches need to change and I think a lot of people need to ban churches for a reason. Stop giving religious organizations the power this is why most families are still in abusive relationships. If God does exist you will not find him in the church.

      1. Traffic is sparse, because of the coof, and perhaps it's just sometimes very busy. Plenty of time for someone to set something up, if they were fast. And could get away with it if drivers are distracted, or out of focus.

My husband did the same thing to me, not as bad as Angie, tried to make me look crazy and have me thrown in jail, destroy my relationships with my family while abusing and invalidating me ... the price of speaking up is incredibly high but I persisted and truth always rises to the surface. Thanks for the reminder that leaving is not as easy as it appears to be. I was constantly victim shamed to that end, made to feel dumb for not leaving sooner. It's been years now and I had PTSD so bad, I'm only now getting my life back. If you're out there in a situation like this, hang on, there's light at the end of the tunnel. Truth wins.

And why the hell wasn't he at the truck, checking on Grant, talking to him and making an effort to encourage and comfort him????!!!! One can't help but wonder if maybe he chose to steer clear of Grant and the truck and make the 911 call because he wanted to be sure he was dead perhaps so Grant couldn't tell anyone what really happened. Why couldn't he make the 911 call AND at least talk to Grant and try to keep him conscious and alive. Maybe he wasn't conscious or alive already and he knew it.

For me (as someone who has watched an enormous amount of true crime) - whenever someone calls 911 (and they are GUILTY as hell), they will ALWAYS give their "theory" as to what happened. When a death is not obvious, the parent will scream, "I don't know. Please just help my baby." People who are murderers will always PLANT the seeds. "Oh, he must have been pushed by the car and was trapped." Real parents want cops to investigate and TELL them what happened. Innocent parents do not come up with random shit while there child is dead before their eyes. They may think of WHY after the body has been taken.... but not during. This man didn't even know if his sons body was face up or down. 🤦‍♀️ Oh, this story is awful. When your entire family thinks you are a monster..... you ARE a monster. How can one man have this much power? How can HE say no autopsy, no crime scene investigation, and everything's dropped just like that? Doesn't Angie have a say in any of this? Everything about this is so sad, so neglectful. I hope the family will have justice one day.

Unfortunately as legal guardian (primary care giver which is the opposite of what he’s given!) he is the next of kin and can make the sole decision regards, organ donation, DNR, autopsy and anything relating to Grants estate ie the truck sale and decision not to have a vehicle inspection, I know it stinks but that’s his right according to the law

As someone who was born and raised in Nashville, TN, Davidson County, I can confirm that most of the judges are very corrupt. Spent 27 years there and finally moved away to a whole new state 2 years ago, best decision ever. My mom was also in a DV relationship and she was also sent to jail, TWICE. My heart goes out to this family. 😞

He’s not the right color of victim. Everyone is more worried about the black man that died while being restrained on the subway after threatening everyone on the subway and getting ready to “give his own life” while assaulting everyone. They’re marching for a man that shattered a 70 year old woman’s face and attempted to kidnap a 6 year old by dragging her into an alley
